For me the less talk from vela and mr O is only positive the proper work has being going on for a long time, this in my opinion is not fools gold if it was would have been informed,a old fashioned business person that you don’t really see now,no spin no bull**** just how it is,sure this will be massive
and then, we have ciz, getting invovled with sgsc,
ciz have something they want to sell.
it all kind of has a smell to it, ( sweet smell)
i for one will /have funds ready to lump in to igraine at first oppertuneity , and ciz when time i think is right, as i think between them they are cooking something up, and best of all, nomand is there with first resuseal.
to put it blunt, they all seem to be ****ing in same pot.
gla.
Agree with points raised by nightye1 and Jimmy.
I don't currently see Vela being involved in production. That would be a huge cost to produce 00's mil of pills and best left to the Pharma. Let them do the heavy lifting, make some money, pass a few £ to SGS and Vela will then get its cut. Not sure whether that type of activity falls within the corporate investment strategy anyway.
As Jimmy alludes to, Sir Chris is joining Board of Angelfish/Igraine. To me it follows that Vela may want to continue with this relationship. To date, most investments have been in the range of £100k - £250k yet the SGS deal was £2.35m, Why was that, does JN have an interest in Health Tech/Life Sciences sectors? Taking part in the placing will allow Vela to effectively participate in all similar deals alongside Excalibur. This widens the scope of potential activity, not limited to only SGS trials.
I can see a chunky £1m - £1.25m going into the placing next week. RDGC RTO is still pending so maybe a double dip and a little investment there as well.
This time next week we should know more & we may even revisit this post then and have a good LOL if radio silence continues!!
Also watch out for 26mill sell, 20k be bought later and isa'd..
A few things lineing up here with sgsc, and I think professor evens may be setting up to have his fist in someway or other via igaine.

Why do people keep saying the 2 mill will pay to help with production, sgs is not a production company. They take drugs, prove they work or not then licence them out to big pharma companies. if this is a success then the big pharma company, presumably AstraZeneca who do the deal with sgs will pay for the production not sgs or vela!
Yes SGS leading lots of trials... however we are only involved with 1. The 2 million may well be used to help with production as this number was mentioned in a SGS post.
In 2021 St George Street is looking to start a Phase Ib clinical trial in Idiopathic Male Infertility, PRIMER. Male infertility is a completely neglected area of the pharmaceutical industry, however 1 in 7 couples will experience infertility and in 50% of these cases male factor infertility is a significant cause. ‘Idiopathic’ (or unexplained) is the diagnosis given to around half of all men with male infertility. The only proven treatment for idiopathic male infertility at present involves artificial reproductive technologies (ART), specifically a specialised form of IVF called ICSI. This is extremely invasive for the woman involving multiple weeks of high dose hormone self-injection, multiple intravaginal scans and egg harvesting. In the UK right now, the number one reason why couples require IVF therapy is actually male infertility, not female infertility. St George Street is looking to change this treatment paradigm, with a new therapy that looks to treat male factor infertility directly. The proposed Ph Ib trial is expected to involve around 40 patients who will be given an oral tablet for 10 days to investigate the biological mechanism of this oral therapy in blood and semen in men with Idiopathic Male Infertility. Here at St George Street, we passionately believe in the need for such a treatment with a huge community of both men and women calling for new treatments. We know that current treatments using ART come at a high financial and mental-health cost. We want to change that.
