The consolidation here over past 3-4 months has been very good imo.. a sniff of good results with a possible commercial deal, and this will shift very quickly to a 50 million M/C.
Easily achievable imo!!
I’m feeling extremely positive about this, the silence speaks volumes to me.
With JN at the helm, it just makes it feel so much more sweeter.
Did it stanflan with 5 mins to spare.... would like to say that was my 35 million buy.... but not that flush... I wish... just the 5 million buy... happy with that... however that 35 million... as they say following the money.... looking forward to Monday... good weekend all
Do it... Do it... do it... do it... lol
No BigDave not by you... anyway looking like it’s a repeat of yesterday... should finish Blue. Looking at everyone going all in I’m hovering over the Sell button for SYME... could be good timing... have a good feeling for Monday. Have a fantastic weekend all... next week could be life changing for some on here with good results..
That's a confident call. If news does arrive on Monday the BoD and team at SGS have done a very good job of keeping a lid on things!
gone all in, news monday morning.
gla.
By me? lol
Angelfish/Igraine is for all future deals with Excalibur so I see it as a long term Life Science play. I read it that the success or otherwise of AZD1656 determines the price to pay for its 2% stake in EML rather than necessarily being involved in future development/production of AZD1656 but of course, it may well transpire that is the case..
Agree THG mentioned this recently that Vela could be using the 2mil still not spent to assist with commercialisation... got shot down for it though lol
Angelfish/Igraine

Bring it on
:-)
Or this from SGS site
At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter.
Still think end of June albeit estimated
So many false dawns with the SP, just when you think you’re getting somewhere.
hence,
igraine.

THG, agree, wouldn't surprise me if conversations have already commenced so a results/deal combo could be on the cards.
Taking this line from the RNS :
''Subject to successful indications in June 2021 about the outcome of the study, conversations about commercialisation and potential license deals with third parties will commence at that time.''
If they want to blow our socks off they can release the initial results with a commercial deal in place already!
Hopefully they stick to the RNS and SGS statement stating that Initial trial results end of June and Full end of July... don’t see why not. Fingers toes crossed
Well yes, I get the rationale and I have been keeping abreast of things. It's just that as far as I can see VELA have not miscommunicated yet and the Angelfish statement is somewhat ambiguous. All fun and games and I'm here for the long term anyway. You could easily be right, but I hope that I am...
You could be right Bigdave and that's why we are not seeing much bigger players taking their positions before next week.

The trial completed on 12/05/21
Yes, my opinion only and of course, I could be wrong. However here is my rationale for the statement.
SGS website 20 April
We expect all patients to have completed the ARCADIA trial by mid-May and once the final study visit has taken place, the timelines for database lock and the reporting of the initial study results will be communicated. At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter.
There has been no communication for last 2 months re timeline etc.
Now lets turn to the Angelfish RNS 11 June
The data is now being assessed and outcomes will be reported formally on or about late July 2021.
No mention of Initial Trial results and Full Trial results with separate dates, just outcomes to be announced on or about late July 2021.
We should know either way soon enough. GLA
Hi Twisty, And Yes Dave I also expect results before the end of the month. But in for the long term so happy to wait.
I disagree BigDave. All communications have pointed to an initial set of results being published ahead of the full set, I anticipate this next week. We will see...
After some nice updates from Mode and KNB, what other news could we see?
Angelfish/Igraine GM on Mon - will Vela be part of the placing?
RDGC RTO deadline approaching on 5 July - will Vela be part of this transaction?
Plus of course the big one, the Trial results. I am now of the view that there will only be one set of results end of July. A little longer to wait but am sure it will be worth it when they drop.
and their tweet May 12th - so all look on track for around end of June for initial results still!

May 12
St George Street is pleased to announce that our final patient on the ARCADIA clinical trial has now completed the trial. We would like to thank all of the patients who took part in our trial, without your participation such research into new treatments would not be possible.
This is from SGS website:
"We expect all patients to have completed the ARCADIA trial by mid-May and once the final study visit has taken place, the timelines for database lock and the reporting of the initial study results will be communicated. At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter."
So more likely End Aug/Sept for full results
Full results yes but initial results should be anytime soon
