Some info re Paragraf partnership and Solar efficiency level - https://www.paragraf.com/partnerships/
Solar cell efficiency improvement – Verditek
Traditional solar cells have effectively reached their maximum level of efficiency, at around 23-24%. Improvements of <0.5% are considered highly significant. Performance is constrained by the metal mesh used to disperse current across the cell, and protect it from damage. The shading effect of the mesh prevents around 3% of the surface area from absorbing light.
Depositing optically transparent, highly conductive graphene directly onto the solar cell surface facilitates current dispersal and eliminates shading. In principle, this will improve solar cell efficiency by 3%. Paragraf is working in partnership with Verditek, which is supplying solar cells for graphene deposition. A project to prove the principle has been completed, and a further Joint Development Partnership has now been agreed to advance the technology for the first large-scale graphene silicon solar cell.

It could be, I was going to partake in the offer, but took a chance on the funds gaining 7%+ by purchasing shares. Maybe others did similar and then when the offer closed selected to continue to purchase shares. Who knows!?!
Either way, the 'fund raise' has given VDTK much needed funds for working capital at precisely the time of a technology upgrade unveilment.

Could it be a successful crowdfunding effort behind the sp rise? Closed on 31st July and marked as 'funded' on the page.

With all the backtracking that they had to do last year, I cant see them announcing anything until they have to. Always better if they can under promise and over deliver.
The £5k trader is still around, SP has gone from 2.1p-4.00p within 8 trading days, on no news, long way to go to reach 52 week highs, all looking good.
Update on orders and next generation technology please!!

Hey Sophie, good to hear from you. I’m glad to see the SP increase obviously. I never did close my position so I’m eager to see where this goes. Don’t know if I’ll close it out once it reaches my buy in price or go for glory. A couple of big orders and this can easily go parabolic in the short term. Mr Dutton is still pro Verditek and is in contact with the big order companies through LinkedIn. Let’s see where this goes.
Filament, I'm still here. There hasn't been much to say of late.
I reduced my holding and took the loss. I have however, I've come back in from 2.5p upwards including today.
The company was not what we or new management thought it was. It was not as far along the road as indicated. I believe they have had to go back to basics and and start again. Fingers crossed that everything is coming together.
I have no knowledge as to why we are creeping back up yet?
A lot of the old poster do seem to have stepped back
The 2020 results showed much lower sales than people had expected, that said COVID clearly had an impact on ability to deliver!
I think we will all have a pleasant surprise when the interims come out and that they will lead to a further increase in price - now is a golden opportunity to get into this stock and wait for 10p+ to return!
Evening all, been in for about 8 months when Verditek was stomping to 18.5p a share, got in on an average of 12.5p. I never sold, watched it go down and down. Watched it have a couple of dead cat bounces but I can honestly say, all of those weren’t what we are seeing here. The jumps are just too big IMO. So what is actually is happening with this stock?
Just last month there was a police report of a break in at their factory in Italy were almost everything was stolen!! Who knows what the insides of it was? Really who the F knows.
The past 3-4 days have seen an uptrend in SP. it’s very much welcomed but I haven’t been able to get to the source of it. Long time longs like Feeks, Cat and Sophie have all but disappeared completely from this board but I’m hoping they will come back and chime in following its new revival.
Trades are up, trade sizes are considerable and it’s hopefully a good sign for new investors to jump in on a very discounted SP.
The orders for Chala and Puira are not confirmed but if you look at their LinkedIn you can see for yourself that they are close to production and harvest of gold - one can only imagine that those steps will result in orders for Verditek’s services. Check out for yourselves by checking Saracen Process SA and BTMSA.
All commences welcome.
