I think if you don't see it moving up you should sell. Personally, I am hopeful for a decent return here on my small but comfortable trade.
I guess it is easier for me to be confident having recently bought in, it looks promising to me.
Doubt this will go above .24 without new finance. If it does go above .24, Atlas will convert. Why wouldn't they? Vast did do a raise to pay off the first lump sum back on 22nd June (well that's what it was claimed to be for by AP) if Atlas did choose to convert. Just depends on how much of that raise is actually left. The BoD have a very good history of saying a raise is for one thing and spending it somewhere else. Let's not get Fantasy started on the Manailla trucks again! (even if it is a valid point - AP straight up lied to us about that raise).
I'd like to know though how it gets kept below .24 all the time. Eveytime it gets close the SP gets dropped on the smallest of sells after. It stinks SP of manipulation.
Hopefully, we will move up, those that wanted out are out now. A few buys there to get it started.
if you sold out I would suggest moving on and deleting from watchlist as there is nothing worse than watching something you sold at the bottom climb without you, haha, might be wishful thinking on my part.
we should get a bit more social media soon I suspect.... nice video of trucks full of money soon to follow. B
Pecten: lol. The RNS is clear enough: the target area was below level 18, Antonio skarn, with interception of mineralization "at depths of up to 50 meters below 18 level".
I look forward to the day when you can see anything positive here.
Surely with these results they have more ammunition for better funding.
Sandy, be careful you don't fall off the high horse you're riding
You are entirely correct, wrt to drilling angles and testing of mineralisation where it is present - that is exactly what I said re the cores deemed worthy get sent for analysis, however, I was pointing out that the info in the RNS either could have been clearer with regards to drill hole depth-including those still awaiting results, or that large amounts of core hadnt been tested - which could imply a large quantity of overburden in future
Pecten: in your hurry to be rude to me, and to denigrate the asset, you've missed my point and also missed out an important part of standard practice.
Drilling occurs on different angles to reach the ore body and different depths. You only test where there is mineralisation. That is absolutely normal practice.
Sandy, don't be disingenuous.
The cores normally get halved lengthwise, one half for testing, one for storage/records
The cores worthy of analysis get sent for assay, the ones where the ore content appears disappointing do not
if the pattern is the same, we should expect a podcast soon as well. usually they appear just after a raise to allow AP to attempt to defend himself........ his last defence was more of a "came out fighting" one as he seemed to suggest that mines are expensive. With him being in the mining business almost all his life, I would have expected him to know that and used that in his thinking and planning. This is going to be a great mine, just need AP to do the right thing..... B
Pecten: it's not normal to send all the cores. They get cut and some are stored.
Gbjoe, the paragraph re the drill holes is interesting, either the remaining holes have an average length of around 88 meters ( which would be massively longer than the other 15) or large amount of the cores havent been deemed worthy of being submitted to ALS for assay
I get it and still hold alot here but having been here for so long you start to notice trends with the BoD and raises.
Take that quote from the Proactive investors interview on the 18th May. AP states the according to AIM regulations they have to release all the data they have which isn't public knowledge before they can carry out a raise. Makes sense.
RNS on 24th July states 'The Company can also confirm it is now in receipt of the first batch of underground drill hole assays from ALS and the results are equally encouraging. Further batches of data are expected over the coming weeks. The Company will have a complete set of Assay results ready for publication in August 2020'
The data released today isn't the full set of results. To quote the RNS 'To date, 692 metres of core representing 20 drill holes has been completed. Assays from the initial 15 drillholes totalling 253.8 metres of submitted sample length have been received from the ALS laboratories located at Rosia Montana, Romania.'
So they had these drilling results over two weeks ago but only release them now? I do wonder why that could be... Hopefully just to let everyone know about the good grades? We all kind of knew that anyway. For once AP and co, please prove me wrong!
seems to all be coming together now.
Hopefully, I bought at the right time!
chill out a bit guys.......a short while ago we never even thought vast would get to production.......but here we are
yes AP is a dhead...but AP is looking after AP and his mates........which is what i'd do if was in AP's shoes...PI's.....bottom of the food chain..always will be on Aim
we may get more placings........we might not (is that a pig i just saw flying past)
It's the complete lack of trust in the BoD. Raise after raise after raise. Finance is the key here.
It's the fact that the last lot of results on the 12th May were followed by a placing on the 18th May. Vast have a proven track record of releasing news to raise the SP followed by a placing. AP even said it himself last time that they had to release a 'cleansing RNS' before they could do that raise. I.E. releasing all the drilling data they had before they could raise yet again. See the proactive investors interview on 18th May at the 1 minute 16 second mark if you don't believe me.
It's the fact that Atlas will convert as soon as this goes above .24.
The SP will stay in this rang for some time unfortunately.
If I'm wrong, good! Means I / we will all make some money but there is a long way to go yet.
Said it before and i'll say it again, the SP will move on refinance news. That is the only way we get a clear idea of potential dilution might happen till first offtake
Got to love the AIM. Cracking drilling results and the SP is already dropping back.
Looking at some other exploration companies, one of which has risen from around 0.25 and is now sitting at almost 5 times higher and they haven’t got anything near the potential value of Vast short term. It’s laughable sometimes how a company can rise based on nothing more than marketing spiel and hype. That’s ultimately how investors lose money as it’s easy to get sucked in to the hype at a price that’s not fair value unless you do your research! Vast is clearly under valued at this price and some very good money to be made at this price.
yup happy to hold, probably see an interview or two soon.
This is looking like a very profitable mine in the making!
Moving up!

These are very good results - some of the gold assays are the sort you get from a rich gold mine not just as a byproduct of a copper mine 2.36/4.56/2.73/2.89g/t etc and look at the silver 389g/t Cu grades are also good - some mines are averaging .5% this is way above that
As expected a great result with drilling, hopefully the price begins to reflect the true value of the asset as it’s far too low currently. Good luck all.
I will take that!!
