Saying that Jamboy- based on what's happening here, I can't see a better entry point so picked up some more, lol
Dude, just been busy with work and had to put shares to one side for a while.
Thought you had disappeared max, after no comments on another stock we shared
Well, there is always fun and games on AIM, but saying that there are some big positives to consider.
The mine is built, the mine has been proven, the equipment is now purchased and mostly delivered.
There is enough equipment to start the operation and start getting some money in.
MaxH - after all that buys SP is the same, isn't it? 25m shares bought - OK, so what? what is 25m shares when we have 11b+ shares... Honestly I don't care either if these buys or sells, if the SP doesn't budge... :)
If the mine is producing but costing twice as much to run the mine for example, no one would give you any money, would they? I am not saying BP would be like this - for all your theories of money being lent will only becoming available when you have the proof that BP is producing enough or through documentation that VAST is trying to do... Don't underestimate the economy difficulty and capital availability especially in the current covid situation...
chunky buys - hopefully not cancelled at end of the day!
GL
Precten- like I said, it doesn't matter if it is Salman, Salmon or whom ever, but someone is buying in nice chunks.
Case in point is another 25m buy has popped up.
Is there a free sources that is realtime, to allow you to see the transactions.
I am currently keeping tabs at work on vox, bit not sure if there is a delay?
The crucial word in your 14:07 is IF .....
One of the most blatant pumps have seen for a while - new material for a comedy festival
Max, surely you don't actually believe that?
Don't care who it is, if they are buying and bought 50m in last 24hrs, that is confident
Well after reading Salman Investors tweet, that 20m would be a buy! If they re iceberging the buys and are not done. I think it would support a reason why the mm's seem to be keepothe price at current level (to fill big orders)
There have been some nice buys today and as if the share price is being held here.
Except for the 20m (which looks like a sell) all the other larger trades today, look like buys to me
Fantasy- to be fair, if the mine is producing and you need a bit of a top up. There would be other options available to the company.
So, factoring, a loan and oberdraft, but the main thing is- get the mine mining and guess what? Things would progress naturally.
The only time a placing is an issue is when it's to keep lights on when you are nowhere near production imo
Yrabs - well.... for the placings to stop you need to generate enough cash... what is enough cash and how much revenue BP will generate in the 1st 3 months, 6 months to avoid further placings? Answers in a post card please.....
the sp should react and align to prospects... once the mine is producing that should be enough for the fist rerate... as placings should stop and corners are turned... once Aladdin's cave is filling the coffers the sp should start to reflect true value...……. forget about Lucy, I suspect AP already has... get one project right for now is the best policy. B
Pecten: yes. It might of course take a little while for the various concentrates to come on stream, depending how fast the ramp-up goes, so I can sort of see where eric might be coming from as a short term question. But no, I doubt in practice there'll be penalties in the way he postulates. It won't make much sense to frame it that way within an offtake when the concentrates are anticipated.
Mizman - I totally understand it is a step by step process.. On one side, people say we have this and that... and other hand we have a step by step process... why don't we go through the step by step process...
why don't people stop posting incorrect info on revenues and predicting SPs/MC? all these are based on step by step process :)
eric: the actual price paid will also be framed by the offtake terms, and these are pitched over a period of years. In practice, we're unlikely to incur upfront penalties when downstream credits are built in.
Eric, you don't help yourself - what smelter extraction?
VAST will be producing concentrate not dore
Pecten: again, to keep this on substance, have you considered the counter-effect of the increased grades/recoveries as against the (currently) weaker price?
There's little point in me being balanced when so many others are spouting one-sided negatives. You're at least the third person this morning to refer to the copper price without considering that in the context of the metallurgy of the mine itself.
Sandy - you used to post with a far more balanced tone but recently the level of vitriol has risen- what's happened?
Personally, I find your comment to Morningsun unfair - he/she has been a useful and thoughtful poster on VAST ( far more so than eric, though by itself that might not be saying much!)
Unless VAST have stated otherwise, one of the three revenue streams suggested for BP is copper concentrate (with gold and silver credits) so that price is very relevant, but with the current volatility , quoting todaysspot price is no more or less relevant than a forward price curve that may not be followed
Fantasy, yes all shareholders would like to know future revenues and the true value of the asset at BP.
It's a step by step process to get those numbers.
1. Metralogical reports to confirm grades with view to refinance to Conventional long term debt (should be confirmed in a matter of weeks)
2. Start of production in July will start to give us actual numbers.
3. Enhanced JORC will confirm size of the assets (expected in August).
Not long to wait.
MS: you claim to understand stuff but I'm not convinced. You repeated eric's simplistic point about pricing but ignored my point about grades and recoveries. Have you given any thought to that or do you just get your lines from eric?
Sandy, you specifically reference the dated part of the copper price quoted so be more clear then in the future of what you want to convey or maybe ask if you don't understand something.
"Todays pricing doesn't matter": Can I conclude then that you know what the copper price will be when we are in production (mind you this is within 2 months time)? If so, please let us know what that is then so we can all factor that in as a given. Whole swats of industry are going through massive layoff and cost cutting programs and you foresee a massive upwards rerate in the copper price.
And indeed, in answer to your arrogance about what I do or not do understand, I know what polymetallic means. It's irrelevant when we are discussing the copper pricing used isn't it?
MS
sandy - totally agreed on polymetallic (copper, gold, silver and molybdenum etc)... There is no doubt BP has got the potential.. Investors are raising these questions because there is no clarity interms what the revenue will be... we can all calculate the potential but thats not the point....
I think Andrew Hall from Vast - tweeted about gold reaching $2000/oz by year end.. So what?? What does this mean for Vast - what revenue VAST can generate from gold and by when? There is no point talking about gold price, if there is no clarity on how this will benefit vast.
No I am not denying that gold price will be beneficial - without knowing by how much and when, gold price info is useless IMO.
GL
Agreed on both points. Today’s price of copper and other metals is not that relevant. Forward price curve is key.
