Yep! Totally agree Sandy!
I pointed this out in one or more of my previous posts and for this reason, I this this makes a huge difference in regards to being able to maintain the ATLAS payments.
If as stated in last week's rns regarding being on target to exceed production is still the case, then we could be in n even better position.
I have my fingers crossed for the refinance with the mainstream lender and this will make things a lot easier. This sale will also be part of the affordability assessment and am looking forward to the next few rns's
Max: the fact that it's an FOB contract (not CIF) and that payment terms are 24 hours, has done a good deal to cheer me up. That was very positive information to get.
I've always known it is concentrate and apologise that I was more focused on getting the $ amount per ton correct.
What we need if for Parker Schnobble to loan us his processing equipment, lol!
On a serious note, VAST is producing and this week will be selling and once FOB - it will be officially a producer!
It's been a hard road to get to this point and understand why peoples nerves are fried!
Max, with all due respect, I've had to repeatedly point to many posters that VAST will be producing concentrate rather than ore.
I apologise for the shortness of my answer to you, but as it's such a fundamental point , its probably just become frustrating that posters havent understood the difference
Hi Sandy-
Yes, it looks like I made a mistake and read it wrong! I read it as is getting $6655 per ton of concentrate!
Your explanation makes sense and accept this.
My issue with Pectan is that he/she jumped down my throat with out explaining what you have reasonably explained, but rather just poibted out that I was wrong in order to my perception de-ramp!
It's easy to say someone is wrong but not easy to be constructive and explain.
As I said I read it as the business getting $6655 per ton (gross or unrefined)
Running this by the figures you have explained, it still washes it's face based on these initial figures.
Either way, it will really start to show a big reduction in production costs per ton in Q1.
None the less , we are now producing and selling the concentrate and that is what we are here for.
Thank you for the explanation!
GLA and eagerly await the string of RNS's starting this week!
Max: on this particular occasion, Pecten is correct. The London Metal Exchange copper pricing is for metal. So, essentially, a concentrate that is 30% copper gets 30% of the tonne price.
30% is very good, by the way. Many concentrates would be lower purity and therefore would get a lower price.
At full production, Vast will be doing very well indeed. Month 1 is a good start. But it's best to be realistic as well.
Max - you're wrong
Fine!
Let me address- it is concetrate and forgot to type the word, however if you read rns would know I meant copper concentrate. The figures are not wrong. We get paid $6655 per ton of copper concentrate.
But it's funny that some will find any little imperfection to jump down ones neck while not contributing anything themselves or joining a conversation.
Just finding fault in everything and that's fine, I'm invested- are you?
Someone posted to your wrong calculations yesterday and attempted to put you right. You have chosen to ignore that and carry on posting wrong information. Very poor.
Yes it's concentrate not copper! Is this all you have to contribute?
Vast are selling copper concentrate, not copper.
The post below proves that you have to do you own research!
Eva-
You bring up some interesting points.
and assume that the shipment is onboarded in the next few days (subject to ship availability), but think they will know what day the ship departs, now!
Rough figures but we get $6655/ton of copper. Now we know that Mercuria will take anything over 200t, so:
200 X $6655 = $1.331m
300 X $6655 = $1.9965m.
400 X $6655 = $2.662m
So, with the operating costs about £1m, we will easily be able to afford the interest payments of $29,5k
As per the RNs on the 22nd (I think) we were on target to exceed target , but as this is AP we are talking about, I expect shipment to be somewhere between 350-400t, which leaves a comfortab margin and if we can deliver over 325t/MTH I think we will se that there will be no further need for placement imo!
Hi Sarah and Eva,
It has been a long and difficult journey for many! I had to sell my shares last year- so my losses aren't as big as many here.
This is the frustration many have because I remember buying at .50-.55p and look where we are now!
So, it is understandable that many here may be bitter.
However, if I could find more money, now is the time for topping up. This will move faster than many think and I think it will take a similar trajectory to GGP.
VAST is now a producer and I have spoken to a few people and it is my understanding that receipt of payment and payment terms were a big issue!
People were under the impression that you'd get paid a month or so later, but you get paid in 24hrs.
I really think that being paid straight away will encourage most people to either top up at these low prices or to jump in.
So, once we get an RNs saying FOB (freight on board) the share price will move swiftly and upon an RNs in the next 24-48hrs from then- we will see a huge volume and again a healthy price increase.
Once we receive payment, it is my opinion that we will then be paying atlas in cash and no further need for dilution.
Eva.
I can see your point but if there is ever a point as far as I’m concerned to invest in vast it’s now. Don’t take my word for it.
I started in .60s and still
Buying at 16. I have over 50m and still buying.
I take full responsibility for my actions but I will be reminding you that I have just bought a 911 in a few months and a crate of champers ! Oh and you are invited to the bar with all thenother winners when this goes mad. May take a year to get where we longbterm golfers want but I would rather take our time now we are where we are rather that act like the previous ceo and many aim companies.
I’ve lost in a lot of shares over the years but I’m in here. I do hope I’m right!!!!!
