Wish I had not tried to crack a joke now :(
oldbaldy:- Here it is again....
I was expecting some consolidation today. Maybe the dip from 66 to 56p was it. Light resistance between 66p-68p. We have good volume, strong upwards momentum this week. I noticed that MM were asking for premium of any size in the afternoon dip. All sounds very BULLISH to me.
My target is : 76p-82p! Before the news! ( Friday/Monday :)! ) If we close above 70p before the news then on positive RNS we could hit £1.89- £2.09 or even target 2.
Target 1 : £1.04- £1.19 ( If we close below 60p before the news)
Target 2: £3.05- £3.25
Gilders, I completely agree. I swore after going through chemotherapy the first time, that if I ever had to go through it again, I would decline. Thankfully I haven’t had to, but I still stand by that decision made ten years ago. Nasty business and genuinely worst time of my life. I too hope that 401 will come good, likewise for all of our compounds. It’s just that 401 biochemically isn’t related to the other compounds we have, that’s all I meant. As someone pointed out earlier (was it Mr Nation?!)...the outcomes here have much bigger implications than just money.
Gracey, Val 401 is why I invested years ago. By the time the patient have no other options we can test our Val 401 compound. Cemo is so harsh they want to give up. Val 401 is kinder and the patient may be mentally able to accept not only our drugs but any other cancer life saving drugs out their. God bless them.

Why aren't there any trade details after 15:30? I don't think for a second that there were no trades after that time. Any ideas?
That’s true. When Dasatinib was partnered with and compared to chemo in the stage three, it didn’t cut the mustard. But then again, from their stage two, it should never have feasibly reached a stage three anyway. We are much more targeted and should produce far superior results.
The question is, what counts as phenomenal? Clearly four partial reductions of the tumours from the imaging using RECIST and four minimum of 70% PSA level drops is the ultimate holy grail (We will all be waving a massive farewell to the current sp and anywhere near it)...but what will the bar for excellence be? A lot lower than that, but exactly where...?!
Well, I do like a good mono-therapeutic dose-response, and so far I've seen one; in a market where others' are resorting to combi's to produce "phenomenal" results ;-)
Actually...anybody want to predict how the other four participants Will respond? Just for fun. Everyone has a really good grasp of the data so far. Noise?
Rhubarb, you seem to have a scientific background. Results predictions? :)
Well they could do with something to beat AZD0530, so not a huge hurdle.
It’s been extended nealsp. The results of that trial before the extension are here

Yep Gilders! Well, it reflects favourably on everything except 401, as that’s a separate entity. Also possible breast cancer/ovarian cancer and other applications of tyrosine kinase (especially Src) inhibitors :)
AZN Noise?
Prostate is a curious market, uclh have some good 3d imagine and laser burning tech, but if 201 works reasonably as per pre clinical and 4mg dosing, it is a £2+bn drug. Would VAL get 5-10% royalty?
I know who my ideal partner is. TBC!
Am I wright in saying, if Val 201 results are good it reflects favourable on our other compounds.
This Zac fellas 75p prediction is that with it without news ?
Can I ask what happened with the trial back in 2015 for VAL201?
I think it was 2015 anyway
Well said MrNation...
