And posts from the old guard have no place now on this board.
@Valtree you only post on this board to cause trouble with constant posts about life boats. I suggest you get yourself a job at the RNLI and sail out to sea somewhere, preferably as far away as possible.
A placing is not a rude word if funds raised are used effectively to expand or advance the business. The management team at Valirx are operating a lean and effective operation. Run well and following the placing I'm hoping will secure additions to further strengthen operations to drive forwards for ultimately stronger investor returns.
@Pm2022
You are a cracking guy and i know VERY passionate about VAL but with respect you know little about 4D. I hold significant Investor research. They considered they had cash runway into Q4 and wanted further drawdown from Oxford Finance into 2023. A 100% dilution placing was expected after the AGM with resolutions. Clearly their talks failed. Rather than the bank supporting and that position unfolding and risk a placement not being funded, Oxford Finance demanded immediate repayment of current loans forcing them into administration. The bank clearly wanted money lent back to avoid any risk of exposure should the placing not complete. They were also in breach of a banking covenant. The placing should have occurred earlier but they waited in error due to market conditions which continued to get worse. SH now await outcome if the business can be sold as a going concern or assets sold to recover any of their investment or write it off. Its a significantly bigger operation. Lets keep this board just to VAL only,
I will get a last minute flight if there’s the chance of a rumble,quite fancy throwing Georgie boy around like an empty boiler suit.
I’m not condoning violence but I’d pay good money to see rightback chin that thieving ****head charlatan at the front door. All resolutions passed
I Didn’t need to go mate had better things to do that day but I did it all from my arm chair via a phone call to Marston.
And again when your Mrs begged for her job back.
Jesus it just showed how f ing useless you both were you never cottoned on.
Turn up please, sober if possible tho eh.
Considering you couldn’t be at the last one to vote George and Satu out I won’t hold my breath
Ha he’s here, Georgie boy you ready for Thursday mate ill get there even if it’s on my f ing stakeboard I’ll be waiting for you at the front door ok
Ellis
Adam’s our biggest shareholder who didn’t sell a bean at 65p and whom did he once work for?
And you ? Give us your credentials fella.
It’s time to get the lifeboats out let’s hope I’ve got enough for Thursday I would think a placing at 12p is on the way. I do hope I’m wrong though
Not. The deal will cover the overheads and they should be close. It would only be short term and the SP is already low. I expect good news first maybe 2 good news 30-40p then possibly raise 0.5 million-1 million until the deal is completed.
Ellis did you know Suzy said she will update the market with progress for VAl 201. Also news due for triple breast cancer with a market cap of 10 million.
Elis,
Your wrong young lad. This is a legacy drug and the drug needs reformulating to make it even more commercially viable. TRx might be less well known but the revenue would be greater here when they reformulate the drug plus it is likely to go through clinical trials quicker.
I suggest doing some research Ellis before posting.
Ellis,
Trx are patent experts. They will get a new 20 year patent for Val201 which most large pharma are not able to nowadays. Huge value for Valirx with X amount of huge revenues if on market compared to if it was a large pharma who cannot reformulate the drug.
OB, I’m sure you know that silver is the most shorted commodity on the planet and this is why it doesn’t move much for last 50 years!
I agree this is going to change.
I’m a buyer! I hold SLV!
RB
You are a life saver, I honestly thought it was Wednesday, what a plank!
Yes, you could sell all your boards and buy your Portuguese light house ? Fish every day!
I do hope we get some good news and not just an update, not long to wait now …
OB
Your wrong there OB Scaff boards the way forward with the cost woods going to be from now on mate.
Think we’ve a good week coming with more than just a up date in the deal.
Definitely going Thursday I’ve a date with Georgie boy not sure how I’ll get there yet but I’ll be there mate.
Porky
You don’t have to pay the vat on vaulted silver, only if you take delivery, however the storage costs are higher due to the room it takes up..
I’m bullish on silver, with the world going green and it’s link to gold as an inflation hedge, plus it’s the most undervalued commodity on the planet ATM.. it’s more of a speculative investment, as you are probably more than aware..
Will you be attending the AGM?
OB
Losses of approx 50 million last year for DDDD therefore a very high burn rate and debt. The market cap was very low so not able to raise a substantial amount through a placing to pay debt and to keep running costs where losses were working out at about 1 million a week.
Val is the complete opposite and the model looks strong financially as burn rate is extremely low and drugs are out licensed therefore reducing costs.
What happened to 4d?? To go from over 200 to 16 to then administration. Did deals not go thru?
@Ells
Whatever – think what you like. You are so far off the mark its ridiculous but I have nothing to prove. What I do is my business
@OB
Thanks for the tip. I will look into that. I’m vaulting with Royal Mint they are expensive but I kind of like them. Have two sub vaults for the kids. When I say kids, one 18 and one 21 i understand the first 30yrs are the hardest… like your strategy though. Think Silver could also do well over next 5 years due to the demand in tech goods, just the VAT element i don't like...
@DI
You have a point but in 12mths the position could be materially different here. Markets could well pick up end of this year. The Bio Index is already showing signs. See how it goes.
@PM2022
I hear you, sorting a few things out, see how the AGM goes and events unfold as I said. Investment climate this year is going to be rocky. Outlook for 2023 stronger. Longer term these plays will do well. It’s the only way. GL
@Porky9, how about these two to start with. Which is more likely a placing to fund a lab or anything meaningful trial wise or commercially within the next 18 months? Secondly do Valirx accept publicly mentioning the notorious poster @Porky9 in a formal business setting undermines credibility?
@PM2022 with a deal you say. Despite the FACT nearly 9 months have passed since the SOI. If this was a blockbuster they’d have raised the cash by now. We expected a deal before 2022, by end of Q1 and then by end of Q2. All failed. Rampy posters like you are so indoctrinated you will still believe a deal will come years from now. And isn’t the lab central to the company strategy? If they don’t raise for that now and the deal fails what price will the raising be to buy the lab. PEANUTS. Expect the incoming money raiser for both keeping the lights on and the lab.
@Porky
Val only has a market of 10 million. With a deal and funding completed for VAL201 you are looking at 60p plus imo and if it passes phase 2b trials then easily £s. Had I not been fully exposed I would be buying heavy now and would not worry about a 1p drop here. Potential 5-10 bagger even after a few months here. 60p gets you a 4 bagger here not to forget all the other possible news due including triple breast cancer in the next 1-2 weeks.
Sad what happened with DDDD but VAL is not the same as DDDD were losing approx 1 million a week and had debt which Val does not. Val only spends just over 1 million a year which is easily raised and has potential money coming from the deal and a lab in the future.
I don't believe the lab placing can happen at this SP as not enough funding could be raised at this SP depending on the likely cost and all the long term holders would not be happy. All that is needed is a small raise for 6 months or until the financial year end if TRX does not pay up now and until the funding is complete. Therefore a great buy and not much risk if you hold it imo.
Pick the wrong sitters and your investment can also evaporate into nothing, like what vali is proving ironically.
Porky
PM is my most favourite topic, I simply don’t save fiat anymore, what’s the point it’s devaluing at 17% pa ATM
I find Baird & co have cheap vaulting charges 0.3 % pa (on gold) also moved the majority of my pension over to a gold pension, and my word I had to jump through hoops to make it happen, but that is another story..
My simple strategy is get paid and invest, the alternative is to let it evaporate, imvho

@SouthernInvestor
Thanks for your advises but despite my massively disproportionate posting history on LSE I have a range of AIM plays in my portfolio. At the start of 2021 i had 9, i currently hold 5. There are winner and lossers. Yep my hit is 160k on 4D unless a miracle happens and NYCT reduced my profits and was my pig in the 2021 tax year, it happens.
That's why with AIM you should top slice and you should diversify across stocks.
As a side i actually like OBs investment style buy regular and often to average out your SP and as a safe hold buy PM. Currently in my portfolio i am top heavy on Gold and buying Silver but that's something else..
There are obvious risks here but as a long term play it has significant potential. GL anyhow however you trade
I note your DDDD losses are £160k. You have upped your posting frequency here and no doubt will try to find a way to recoup your losses. Your post this morning sounded a little desperate and definitely rampy so my advise is to be careful chasing losses as that’s not sound investing. Even after a placing here how can anybody be positive. No guarantees of success and after DDDDs debacle bio sentiment will be poor and peeps like to want their cash in hand rather than gambling.
