You’ve only lost a sh*tload if you actually physically sell your shares. If u just hold and wait for the price to recover you’ve lost nothing. I’m 40% down and I’m doing..... absolutely nothing just gonna sit back and wait
People are probably panicking because they just lost a **** load. Your probably worried coz you’ve lost a **** load but don’t want people to be panicking so you lose more.
Not sure why anyone is panicking. Just buy on open and average down.
Seen drops like this many times ON AIM. Well orchestrated and then up it goes.
How do you know nick slater added?
BritishBulldog - thanks for clarifying. Seen some of your previous posts where you said the share price wouldn’t rise above 10p so doesn’t make sense how you could’ve sold at a loss - unless you ignored all your own advice ??
Next.......
buying or selling is ultimately ones own decision...but no doubt what gets said on here can and does sway peoples judgement in my honest opinion
good to hear from you st i think its unjust some of the things people have said
Ms 007. Yeah out mate with huge losses. Nothing changes here. Just came on here to read the ramper bull. Can take the loss - just warning the newbies. Next.........!
Was asking you the question yes, are you invested in VAL or just here to pass the time?
BB - ;-)
MS007-are you messaging me?
BB- you haven’t seen the post from Adam Hargreaves then ?
The primary aims of the study encompassed the assessment of the safety and tolerability of VAL201. This study has documented that VAL201 has demonstrated a good safety and tolerability profile. The lack of a MTD should not be mis-interpreted as not fulfilling the requirements of delineating the useable safety range of the drug (as some have alluded to this morning). It looks to be very kind in these respects, which is great news for patients. This is what we want; drugs that work and drugs that also don’t destroy the soul with side-effects. God knows, in oncology we need them
Sure. No problem. Still think it’s doomed (ish) though but heh - good luck!
Still hasn't answered the question... If he thinks the stock is a bag of sh*t why is he invested in it OR if he isn't invested in it why is he wasting his time posting on this share chat...?
Have you ever posted anything positive about this company... Hmmm?
Not been here for awhile and that’s easy because val back in the day were bad consolidation after consolidation.
So still down 40% and today’s news val 201 how old is this drug but they are getting there but seems the news is not good enough but does not mean it won’t be good sometime ..... I hope all the best I ca wait another 5 years
Haha! Quite often the case.
Quite right MS007.
Too many people who shout how brilliant a given share is, want to sell it,
- and too many people to shout how useless a share is, want to buy.
Vicjain- Suzanne dilly tweeted the safety profile is applicable to 301 and 401, or words to that effect.
The Japanese global pharma are testing VAL301 at their expense and now a large part of that (ie safety profile) has passed with flying colors.
So all to play for and should recover very quick
Couldn't agree more. All the shady characters will begin crawling out from behind the rocks telling everyone how much a piece of garbage the company is now. Usually at the same time they'll be trying to short the company.
For newer investors - always question why someone who really hates a stock goes out of their way to invest their time and effort telling everyone about it... If I hate a stock - I don't invest in it and I certainly don't waste my time talking about it.
Agree EyeGuy with the drop today, way overdone and interestingly the positive nature of Val201 has positive implications with Val301 and the Japanese pharma company doing it's own tests on it. Woujld hope to hear more about Val301 soon as this would be a big positive to the sp in itself. Also the derampers were all over the shop today, hope they all vanish as the sp recovers
Personally I think people need to calm down a bit. I was here in March/April when the shares were 3.6p and there were gangs of derampers then as there are now. People like hopsta999 spent the weekend trashing me as I correctly predicted again how it would play out. That character predicted a 2p placing following the 6p placing when I said quite clearly the next raise would be more and then the warrants would get struck. So just like clockwork it’s gone up to 65p. Today’s drop is overdone too and with the safety profile of this now pretty much guaranteed, it makes the chance of commercialisation of 301 with the global Japanese major that bit closer.
People like Hopsta999 , British bulldog etc claimed these compounds were “worthless” time and again.
They have no clue imo are here just to disrupt for their own pleasure.
Nice way to sum things up Pawnking re: 5 days ago :)
My guess, and it is just a guess at this stage is that PI's who got onboard at 30p a few days thought today would be the icing on the bun. When some who were already in a decent profit started selling others followed,... and we're where we are...!
I've seen a post on twitter showing an email response from Suzanne Dilly - not sure if genuine but looks to be saying that there is no immediate need for a placing.
Hope people put things in perspective - in a further 5 days time the picture may be completely different
I agree with you MS007. Yes, MMs do little shakes of 10% here or there, but a big drop like this is PI led. In small cap AIM companies there are too many traders/ too many looking for a short term profit, so sell when SPs drop, therefore increasing the drop and increasing the number that sell... it ends up being exponential.
That said, the SP is higher than it was five days ago, and didnt see anyone complaining when the inverse was true... the herd driving the price up!
Unfortunately, with volatility, that is only likely to attract more traders which in turn creates more volatility. The Circle of life!
Don't agree at all that it's been manipulated. The MM's can only adjust the bid/ask to generate more volume (more volume = more commission). They can't force anyone to buy or sell. However if the share price falls rapidly due to lots of sells at the same time it's very likely people's (some and I wouldn't recommend) stop losses get triggered. This just amplifies the drop. The next few days/weeks should give us a better idea if we'll see a decent recovery.
So the arse dropped out of this today because of manipulation, panic selling, news not as good as some thought, profit taking as it dropped etc etc.
So tomorrow as MM`s have hoovered up cheap shares they should want to sell them from the 20`s and 30`s they cheaply bought at to the 40`s and 50`s as anyone who`s bedwetted (andd to be honest I don`t blame you) will have sold out and as usual there will be buyers who can still get in on the cheap tomorrow.
I know this sounds logical , is it realistic ?
Also could`nt get access to Barclays today at all, anyone else suffer that ?
