Well with company exs touching 1 million a year and a pathetic market cap how long do you think we could survive even if we done the 125/for 1 share ? There's hidden Bill's out there to pay and our honest George is keeping them secret, you cant run the business from the wine bar gm
Rhd1- I would agree with your points and I made my views clearly known in that regard.
However- we are where we are.
My worry might be that they will negotiate alternative financial arrangements and will ultimately lead to huge dilution but maybe not consolidation. Bergen style convertible loan financing may be the only route possibly accompanied by a lean on company knowledge assets. Who knows?
Mer,
I agree with you but there is so much shouting on here from the baying mob that all normal reason has gone out of the window. Most will know that this is how AIM works which is why it is high risk! One only has to look at similar aim stock to see the same pattern of wages and money raising.
Refusing the consolidation was a mistake my opinion and I suspect that the share will be suspended, but at least this will give Val the time to sort out the next stage to raise money either by consolidation or other means. At least the next vote will be under different rules so common sense may still prevail.
This company seems to be going nowhere with the current Directors, so heads should roll, like in the real world.
Met
You’d be made redundant in the norm before being made to pay for your directors wages it’s called business making money revenue, fail to do so and the owners (yes we) give you the boot.
Maybe they work it your way on Mars or some othe far off world.
Mer, are we at cross purposes?
You are saying its our fault that they cannot continue to pay themselves, excessively high wages, at the expense of providing nothing to show for these wages (as yet)?
In answer to what I think you asked, no I would not pay there wages and no I would not give them more, until they produce something of value, rather than the continual smoke and mirrors
I think they should volunteer to reduce, cut back, buy in again, take shares...instead of continual greed? and then once proven what they insinuate, THEN take a justifiable bonus!
I do not think continually rewarding "smoke and mirrors" is the way forward, unless you have invested more than you can afford to loose? But again most invested on the presentation information, which has yet to be proven, just seemingly dragged out, in order to TAKE MORE!
So, unfortunately I disagree and place the blame firmly on the BoD shoulders in it is POOR management IMO
No, because I'm not prepared to take a wage cut to pay the director salaries so I don't expect them to take a pay cut. would you donate your monthly wage to pay the directors so they don't have to take money from the company. IT'S OUR FAULT.
Mer, dont you think after this many years and no deals, it would not have been prudent to take less money out, leaving more money to survive, rather than simply dip into jar and continue taking out, no matter what... IF GOES TO ADMIN ITS BOD FAULT IMO
The BOD tried to raise more funds to keep the company going, share holders stopped them, its share holders fault if it goes to admin.
Very much agree Academy. If the company does fold they will get away if people don't report thier misconduct. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that and things can be turned around.
If the BOD do push us into admistration I won't hesitate to complain to as many regulators as possible and do what I can to stop them taking advantage of others in the future.
Hi academy I couldn't have put it better apart from leaving the 'n' out....then it would have been politically correct.
Well done.
Best wishes.
Fred
I have seen the value of my holding plummet well over 90%. This management is a funking disgrace.
market cap now c. £800k and management pay themselves c £600k!
No wonder they will be unable to keep on trying within 6 weeks following the lates (failed) raise.
I have lost so much and pretty much written off my investment. I hope the company fails and the reputation of the management is so badly damaged that they will never work in this industry as company leaders again.
