I hope he's alright. He made some very pertinent points. He got stick from some on the BB for them. Like the usual " why don't you sell up etc". Let me ask this question. Do you think It Is easy acceptable. That He as an Investor Invests In a Co that through the many desperate fire sale fund raises and Consolidations that brought the Co to near Admin?. That he Considered that Valirx had a New beginning after the removal of some of the previous board?. Then to see His Investment diluted and diminish by So much In such a short period of Time?. IMO, he surely has as I see the mood also changing with others. AS Usual. Open to Correction on any of the above. IMO.
Not interested in the monthly Q&A personally. They can't say anything of note and it only ever knocked the SP, as someone mentioned yesterday. A quarterly Q&A may be worthwhile. I wonder where IAR went.. Be good to see him back. A1, not so much
I'm NOT selling any shares. Investing in shares especially AIM is risky but if you do your homework then rewards can be life changing. There are not many CEO's like Suzy. I have exchanged emails with her and she is working very diligently in progressing our drugs. As a shareholder I can't ask for anything else.
If my other investments appreciate in value then ill be buying more here and maybe I'll also join the 3% club.
On reflection I will probably hold as well just concerned a bit concerned it could run into danger in the next few months if no hint of a deal. But I would hope for at least for some update by the end of September even if a deal is not completed as the SP has been gradually dropping for sometime.
I trust my research and all that I have read from everyone. I trust that over a long period of time that this is a company that can be a hit for shareholders and patients. We just need that first decent deal and I hope Suzy can help us get through this phase in a timely manner.
There’s also a lot of people holding here just under the 3% notification threshold who won’t be selling anytime soon, I’m not near 3% yet but if it’s keeps dropping I bloody might be soon! Haha. when news lands here this will shoot up so quick!
In fact, on reflection, I'm going to hold until news - excellent, good, or bad. I've put my money where my mouth is, and will sail with some of the stragglers, or slowly sink. I don't see an iceberg scenario. :-)
DrShan - absolutely. Not sure if it was intentional conflation, but there's no way on earth that the current board would ever consider doing anything that was rumoured previously re. IP capture.
They're doing their best, I'm certain of that. What does worry me is that there seems to be a groundswell of posters/holders, who I greatly respect, looking to exit September. Me; I'm giving it a bit longer, even if the SP ends up at 10p by October.
Think some of you guy's need to back track and re-read the post from Northenhero and response from Mr Rhubarb. He answers a query from NH, dealing with a past scenario, then pivots to the current situation. It is clear if you look at the Q&A of the thread and pay attention to the context. No duplicitous BOD buy out strategies going on, so y'all can stand down - back to def-con 5.
Don't want the nervy jumping to rash conclusions, do we? Or do we.....
I guess Suzy, George and Satu all knew each other and had links with each other but I suspect Suzy is not the type. I think Kevin and Suzy are trustworthy but at a loss what hell is going on with 201.
Patience for me until end of September then I will reconsider my investment. Still believe but if no update at least in the next month or two then I will likely sell my few 100k shares or reduce position as I am not understanding why it would take so much longer if they really had interest.
Jinsky, IF that happened though and the Compounds DID turn out to be Valuable. I think there would be a major Problem. A lot of SHs put their trust In this new board. As you said I also hope It's not the case IMO.
rhubarb do you honestly think that valirx have a 2nd board of directors who would wish to delist the company and take the IP private, that was a major concern with George and Satu hence the reason the shareholders acted to get rid of them we would need to be very unlucky if this turns out to be the case.I hope this is not the case.
Well put PM22. I think she may have made a rod for her own back releasing a note saying 'Block buster year'. Still time, yes, but we haven't had an update on any of the drugs and their current standings, 301 is just pushed that pretty much however long the Japanese want to test, no probs, 201 talking to the big boys and girls, 401s funding is how long is a piece of string and now Bc201 is pretty much in that same category and nothing about any companies with regards to their new strategy....And now no Q&A as it's the same questions?
She keepings getting questions due to a lack of information coming through an RNS and people are questioning what is going on.
Appreciate with a pharmaceutical company things take time but we seem to get nothing other than an RNS regarding clinical results. No real updates through RNS like other AIM companies every 3-6 months or maybe slightly longer or whatever is reasonable but nothing in such a long time with so much going on is a disappointment.
I once read an RNS that a company once had numerous offers and an RNS was released to say that one will be picked in the near future and although the share price went up at least it was an update.
Well - there may be rumours around that this may, or may not, have been the plan, NH. I do not know myself.
What I would say, is that when a company has a MCap of just a few hundred grand, and sentiment is so low that you can accumulate cheap shares pretty much unhindered, whilst continuing to dilute, and then potentially delist, then it could make logical sense for Directors to do this if they thought that they had potentially good IP (with interim results available), that they could take private.
Despite the flatlining SP (I would respectfully disagree with Kevin that it has "stabilised", at this juncture), we are definitely not in the same sentiment/value territory now. Also, there's no way, and I can say this with 100% confidence, that the current Directors would now want to do the above.
