Amnesic, once more a great discovery and yest more confidence that we will be getting some good news in the public domain in the coming weeks, but specifically this time next week !
From article yesterday...
Chan also hoped the Prime Minister would announce some good news pertaining to the return of Sabah rights as stipulated in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) during Malaysia Day on Sept 16 that would be held in Kuching this year.
“I am a member of the technical committee on MA63 so I know there is an outcome. I hope the Prime Minister will announce it at the Malaysia Day celebration in Kuching,” he said.

If by "result" you mean "The final report will be tabled in a special cabinet committee meeting". Yes.
That's not to say there will be any immediate RNS from UPL then. But it's pleasing to see Dr M is maintaining a clear timetable and has met his first stated milestone and there now seems to be some political imperative.
If the cabinet meeting concludes positively, hopefully we'll get some clarity on what constitutional changes will follow, the fit with MA63, and how PDA74 and OMO58 will sit with it all.
Of course, some form of UPL news on Malaysian opportunities may not hinge on all of the above either.
That's progress. So we can expect a result one month from now, then .
All on track

Yup, roll on Tuesday, compelling indeed!
Hi m8, Malaysian PMs office expects all issues to be settled b4 Aug 31st. Sarawak CM stating no concessions on its O n G rights will be given. Compelling viewing next few days!
Hi Auc1, nice link that matey. I was a bit concerned for the Sarawkian people when I read that the PM was omitting any committees from the discussions. It's nice to read that any decision on MA63 will be discussed with the Sarawak consultative committee first. I always feel there's a hidden agenda with Dr M!
it was the view of the prime minister that there are too many layers of committees involved in the negotiation, especially on oil and gas.
“That was why the prime minister had said he wanted to discuss the issue on oil and gas with me and the Sabah chief minister directly,” he said.

In a statement yesterday, the Prime Minister’s Office announced that seven issues concerning the MA63 had received joint agreement as of July 23 while 14 issues still required further discussion and were expected to be resolved before Aug 31.
With regards the above, those outstanding 14 issues may well be resolved by now. Those issues were outstanding on the 23rd of July..........a month ago
Nice £10k buy just before close, we should see some big money come back in for Sarawak, as word starts getting out.
Hi DelBoi, nice links matey :-) Hopefully some news in or around 11 day's time, cheers buddy.
Nice find DelBoi
Sounds like we might have a break through in Sarawak soon, CM and PM now speaking directly.
