Another chunky 2 million trade showing up. Suspect it’s a late reported buy actually from 1208 - which is why the Ask jumped at that time
Belisce6, thank you for your reply much appreciated! Let's hope something comes, good luck all.
Brushless,
the timing of that New Major Holder was just before the expected Sarawak new license announcement expectation...
it never happened, so the sp in general came way back... so who knows if that is about to come out now or not...
Not easy to buy at the moment.....
Fingers crossed for something positive. It has been a long wait and inexcusably long period of silence.
It's nice to see some positive movement on the share price. Even my glass half empty is starting to look better.
Did we ever find out why someone took 35m shares in the company not long ago? From searching I couldn't find anything about the person in question but it does interest me to know!
Let's hope whatever happens we can all firstly see break even and then dare I say it, some profit?!
yes many theories.. doubt that Sarawak is there for raising cash for tunisia...
the setup of directors etc, makes it look like Sarawak project and other potential SthEast Asia projects are the main menu, and that tunisia will be left for dessert eventually :-)
(just a theory)
There are many possible theories that could fit - some positive and some negative - but at present all we actually know is that there are some large buys going on and the SP has been rising for some days.
A theory that fits. Tunisia inactivity. UPL are waiting to formally land the juicy Sarawak asset = a re rate upwards = a placing at a MUCH higher sp = funds for Tunisia.
Let’s see
And a couple of big buys this morning which looks encouraging.
Well Reaper007 the SP is creeping up so hopefully something is on the horizon :-/
Of course, we are due some updates(!) VGLA
Sun, 22.07: in answer to the question, this 'poster' turned up. As ever, posting history reveals all. VGLA
i would expect the license to be awarded to an outfit that will start work now and fund the treasury now. I can understand extensions being agreed if already funding capex, which is not the case with UPL or any other awardee at this time.
shouldn't be any malay politics involved in the sarawak award of licence 334, because the one next to it was already done some time ago... applications were completed etcetc and its just now waiting to see that upl was awarded this licence...
nothing more to it...
in all fairness, if the company itself has a say in the timing of licence award (presuming it will be theirs), then the licencing board could have been told to delay it for some months, due to the fact that the corona situation around the world will probably have a serious dampening effect on upl doing much work at all on the licence... so why have it awarded now, and not as the corona situation clears up much more... just my take on the issue..
serif this is all politics and what is given gets taken away and gets delayed etc etc welcome to malay politics the show that goes on and on forever
@mikemike. Sarawak now has its long sought after independence on oil and gas issues which are handled by Petros and their own State Government. Don’t think the resignation of the Malaysian minister for resources should impact this.
resignation of government minister for resources will hold up sarawak, malay politics are a quagmire at best of times
Tunisia in political upheaval for a ''stable country means thus may take even more time when added to rampant covid issues there
I think we are close to news on both Tunisia and Sarawak. Time will tell.
Hi Brushless,
Nothing yet... to say I am disappointed is an understatement...
Did you hear anything back investor11?
Speechless............a lot like this excuse for a company
Afternoon all,
Down to 0.4p... speechless...
You couldn't possibly be anything else than glass half empty here. The stand in Ceo that seems to have become the full time Ceo, as no one else is obviously daft enough to take it, is a clown. He has no idea which was obvious from the webinar almost a year ago.
I think there has been a fair amount of 900k to 1m sells of late, yes there's been buys but not as big. Perhaps I've missed them and just tuned in at the wrong time and seen sells and missed the buys.
I've been here since March 16, think I purchased first tranche around 1.5p ish and bought a fair few tranches after that along the way. I've said before, not a massive holding compared to others but big for me. I wait it out with everyone else. We all want the same result, I guess I'm just a glass half empty sort of guy at the moment!
