Hi just catching up what is this deal between Ukog and Turkey anyone?
The important thing is what is happening now.
Simple answer,
Not alot !!
Indeed it does.
What is happening right now is that the SP is still falling and SS is draining away the last dregs of UKOG and still being paid for doing it.
And right now nothing is happening in Turkey, because that field's still in the exploration phase. The govt hasn't even approved the deal between UKOG and AME yet.
:)
Skwizz, it does not matter how many months there are in 27 years or the fact that the field was discovered 60 years ago. The important thing is what is happening now.
The 9.7.20 RNS announced the Bb extension; again;
"West Sussex County Council's ("WSCC's") Planning Committee have approved, by a significant 10-1 majority vote, a 2 year planning permission extension to its Broadford Bridge-1/1z ("BB-1") Kimmeridge oil discovery, located in licence PEDL234 (UKOG 100%). The planning extension, which was recommended by WSCC's planning officer, will expire on 31 March 2022."
Will they ever return? At least this extension puts off the expensive site restoration costs.
Think I recall seeing that Sussex recently renewed BB with a limited extension.
Last month or so, maybe less.
:)
"'RNS states that oil production can be achieved within months'
This is UKOG so that could be anything usually longer"
This 29.6.18 results RNS just goes to prove how UKOG have a record of failing to achieve their targets in a timely manner;
Extract
"Whilst the overall flow rates obtained from the well were to date sub-commercial, we are now actively pursuing a possible return to the site to drill and test a BB-1y sidetrack. An 18-month planning consent extension was submitted to West Sussex County Council on 14 June 2018 and, if granted, the extension to 31 March 2020, will provide sufficient time to enable a BB-1y sidetrack to be drilled and tested following completion of the next planned Kimmeridge exploration/Portland gas appraisal well in PEDL234."
So Loxley and BB should have been drilled by end of March 2020!
(The field was discovered 720 months ago).
;)
Idespair - How many months in twenty seven years?
;)
'RNS states that oil production can be achieved within months'

RNS states that oil production can be achieved within months.
Lots more to come ... maybe ... yes
Lots more posts to come on here as well from the bizarre to the downright nonsense .... all in a days work for this board and ticker. Quite often I feel like most of the overly positive/negative posts on here are more depressing than the share price !
Quite funny though watching all the “it will definitely do this” and the opposite happens. Lol.
"Whilst the Company believes that at current oil prices a successful initial programme can likely self-fund further production drilling, IT MAY BE NECESSARY AT SOME STAGE FOR THE COMPANY TO RAISE FUTURE WORKING CAPITAL TO BRING THE PROJECT TO FRUITION."
:d
Lol Brillo!
LondonInvestor
"that can reasonably be expected to be recovered to surface over field life will likely range between 10-20%."
"The exploration phase expires in June 2023 but can either be extended for a further 2-years, or in the success case converted directly into a 20-year production lease."
UKOG's own press release 23rd July.
:D
forgive me 'turkey ' brings on a whole new meaning for UKOG
Disregarding the rest, Turkey won't be NEAR production for two years.
LOL
I won't pretend to be a tad disappointed after the early morning trading, BUT.
Still up this week, already producing Oil, Surrey council likey to be over turned which will put pressure on IOW shortly after.
And then Turkey which will be in production this year.
We aren't just a UK oil company now, we are. GLOBAL one!
