Penguin, you and Ocelot are polar opposites so you will never agree on the harsher details, probably never find any common ground, the fact that you are extremely negative in your " findings" gives a feeling of suspicion of your motives which cannot be denied
Ozzy,
I've seen lots of posts from ocelot about the OP (rising only) or Bloomberg predicting an oil price rise, large amounts of cut'n paste - but research about the projects?
Opinion about the SP based on charts (and guesswork) and finances as well often with no factual backup.
Last niight we got a classic post from ocelot complaining that posters who research only post (in ocelot's opinion) criticism.
Well that's not surprising as far as UKOG's projects are concerned as often the available information that UKOG don't mention in RNS is not as 'positive' as UKOG RNS, state in interviews and highly caveated presentations.
Yesterday also had this gem:- 'The detractors like to argue that because UKOG has failed in the past, it will fail in the future.'
It might have escaped ocelot's notice but HH is still failing vs the plans and expectations expressed by UKOG. But those that only study UKOG RNS might be forgiven for thinking not much water is being produced by HH-1 as UKOG have never mentioned the volumes produced or daily amounts, and have never mentioned bopd since 'over 300bopd' in the June 2020 interim results, despite during the ewt giving regular though selective bopd updates
'The Horse Hill-1 well (HH-1) continued producing at high rates of over 300 bopd almost continuously during the period. Post period a higher capacity and energy efficient linear rod pump was installed on HH-1, leading to increased production from the Portland interval.'
The deceit is compounded by suggesting that production had increased from the pump change rather than significantly dropped below 300bopd (from OGA figures, not UKOG) by June - and no mention that HH-1 water production commenced in June.
So how much 'faith' can you have in UKOG RNS if things don't go well in Basur-3?
HH1AN2 - F sake can you stop ignoring the free forum filter button nearly every day, so you don't have to read posts you don't like/agree with.
How idiotic.
Oofy, re your quote " no one has argued successfully with the research i have posted on here " which was posted yesterday at 21:53....maybe that is because you have never posted any "research" only criticisms of the company, not in the Oofy pro "guise" anyway but maybe in another?......distinct possibility.....I have just
"nosey parkered" your much posted history in the last month (over 120 posts) and i could not find any evidence of any substantial UKOG related research, nor can i recall any from memory in any of your posts, so your criticism of Ocelot's "positive" research is obviously just an unqualified XR/ nimby ploy .....i suspect you are guilty of all the accusations you make of others, including multi i.d.'s........you are clever, but not clever enough, you are very subtle but your pomposity gives you away.......carry on my good man....what
Ninetails: I was surprised at the length of Backinthis’s sentence. It went on and on, didn’t it? If I could have made sense of it, I’d have thought he’d done A level Latin, for which the ability to write paragraph-long sentences used to be a prerequisite.
Ocelot: subtlety is your stock in trade, not mine. And I aim at objectivity: no one has argued successfully with the research I have posted on here or elsewhere, as far as I can recall, though I have met with some very unsubtle remarks from some posters who I’d be prepared to bet walk with their knuckles grazing the ground.
Backinthis...What a load of rubbish, worst post of the day...
What evidence do you have that all the naysayers are protesters and what evidence do you have that they would be angry at UKOG for the piddling amount of oil they squeeze out of their “World class “ “Game-changing” plays ?
I think you are delusional and probably very bitter yourself.
In favour of the derampers is that there is nothing subtle about their approach, they are upfront and cannot be confused for anything else.
A more subtle approach would attempt to show some objectivity from time to time before criticising one thing and then another and then another, ...
There is alot of people who 1 don't know how to trade so should never invest money in the stock market or 2 can not take a loss and move on. And then again I believe all the derampers are actually not investors but instead are people who are very angry with ukog because they are getting oil out of the ground in the UK so many environmental protesters against this company I bet its mostly them posting everything negative all of the time none of them actually mentioning the fact that UK planning permission for anything can drive you to bankruptcy before you get the job done gives me the clue that they have never gone away all these years since I've been invested in this company since 2015.
F sake skwizz can you stop telling us nearly every day how u f kin traded yourself bk up .....take up trumpet lessons
I agree, I tried it when I switched from trading to LTH for a while, until I realised what was really going on (made glaringly obvious by a helpful UKOG, spiralling down to 0.5p from 1p).
Took two years to trade myself back up again.
LOL.
Lesson learned.
;)
Skwizz: a very full description. It’s a practice that’s best avoided, unless you can honestly say to yourself that you’d buy the shares today if you didn't already have a holding in them. Bravado, desperation, spiritualist beliefs are often the explanation for people doing it.
You’re.
You can reduce the percentage of a loss.
But people fool themselves into thinking that's reducing the loss, when actually they're having to risk more and potentially increase their loss.
It depends what happens to the share price afterwards.
If it goes up, that will reduce the loss in fact.
If it keeps sliding, the total loss increases, while the loss ratio (percentage) may appear smaller, if the speed of that slide decreases.
Investors need to watch the total investment amount and the percentages and understand their relationship.
Oh, Oofy , you knew it too.....of course you did.....do you feel better now your "outed"
Knew it..
Ah, i see...the real Oofy is now coming to the fore.....new it and said it all along .....nimby or XR.....you can't pretend forever old son.....have the courage to stand up and be counted....and no I'm not a nosey parker, just an honest investor calling you out
Averaging down doesn't reduce a loss, it increases it if the price keeps falling. Investors should ask themselves before they do it “if I didn’t already hold this dog, would I be starting to invest in it now?”.
Averaging only works to reduce a loss.
It can only profit if the share ever goes up so you can sell into the rise.
It would help if UKOG actually had any!
I agree my average is 0.63 even after selling all of my free ride shares last year February i got back in and bought loads of new shares at 0.17 so if it drops iam buying more and more next average target is 0.30 gla.
UKOG has a GREAT future ..... nothing the woke's can do to stop this... STRONG BUY... STRONG FUTURE... STRONG SP, coming up...
