The Ocebot's logic programming has been very poorly executed, if it genuinely thinks those two things are parallels of each other.
Were Dr Harold Shipman alive, at liberty and practising medicine today, knowing what I know now, I seriously would not entrust my elderly mother to his tender ministrations.
Similarly, when the UKOG SP was considerably higher, two teeny pointettes... A) how many shares were in issue at that time? And b) Sando's own track record and very distant acquaintance with the actual reality of things was not so plainly visible at the time, meaning that his various assurances and estimates were liable to be given a good deal more credibility than they are today.
The phrase "older and wiser" exists for a reason...
The detractors like to argue that because UKOG has failed in the past, it will fail in the future.
But the same argument can be employed to say that because UKOG's share price has risen dramatically in the past, it will rise dramatically in the future.
I'm not sure of either argument is convincing, but they are equally valid.
SRBS...I am sure many on this board are delighted at how much money you have made trading UKOG and congratulations are in order, and as you say it’s all about making money, that all being said it’s not all about you, and there are many that have invested previously, based on fundamentals and what they thought was genuine research, in the Gatwick Gusher, only to be strung along with placing after placing and continual sp decline, with little or no oil to show for it, due to averaging down over the years I have invested a fair bit more than anticipated, I hope to jump out on the next spike and at least braking even possibly a profit if the rampers get it high enough, but there are many that have not been able to average down and are locked in for believing what the ceo has previously stated, The great Gatwick Gusher, but once again congrats for all the money you have made in ukog and long may it continue...and I am grown up enough and will continue to call a spade a spade whilst I continue to post on this board ATB
'I am sure that is why investors are here and not trolling the board unnecessarily- grow up and find another board.'
Surely making a coherent argument in favour of investing in UKOG at this price instead of starting a new thread to try to tell people with a less favourable view of this company to go away would be more effective. A post from cyan2 is copied below - maybe someone will argue against the points he makes?
"what's not to like"
That HAS to have a factual response;
1.Lets begin with the shares ballooning from 2.59 billion 4 years ago to 15.98 BILLION today
2. £52.675 million raised on the back of dilution (see above) with VERY little to show for the money
3. The company has to have A MILLION QUID EVERY MONTH just to keep the fairy tale going
4. Sanderson constant insistence that something 'potentially transformational' is just around the corner; if he really believed that he would buy some shares.
5. The board failing to honour the promise to cut pay by 20 -50%
6. The boards failure to honour its commitment to buy shares on 2nd July
7. The massive write down in the value of HH and the write OFF of circa £10 million spent in the BB fiasco.
8. The failure to PROMPTLY inform the market when things are going wrong ( see BB above).
9 The kimmeridge 'BILLIONS OF BARREL RECOVERABLE' evaporating with latest annual results showing the Kimmeridge 1c to UKOG at HH now just 300,000 barrels
10 The 2c Portland recoverable now estimated by UKOG at just 600,000 barrels
11. The history of ramping RNS's that turned to dust ; BB being prime example
12 UKOG's tendency to go quiet when there are problems and not fess up promptly
13 The lack of update from Turkey. On 1st July UKOG could tweet the depth drilled with a sunny "good progress' comment. No 'good progress' tweet since and no indication of depth to date.
I could go on and on.......
In my opinion prior to making any judgement on any comments it would be wise for anyone commenting to weigh it all up_ supposing you have invested 10k in UKOG, why would you call investors "RAMPERS", when they are only hoping for a good return to their investment. I am sure that if you have even invested 5k , you would not be downgrading the company day in day out hoping for making a loss rather than a decent profit on your hard earned money. I am sure that is why investors are here and not trolling the board unnecessarily- grow up and find another board. GLA real investors>>>>>>>>>>>The time will tell what happens next.
