Penguins, back to your usual negative way, much prefer when you're objective.
You state "yet this board (and twitter) rivals the Beano and Roger the Dodger for the list of excuses offered "
That's exactly how you come across to others when you start to de-ramp the share.
Kettle/ pot to me.
Penguin you mention the Beano, and Roger the Dodger, were they in Comics years ago a bit like yourself, one big one,GLA.
Nobody knows why there appears to be a delay to the 'imminent' ewt start, yet this board (and twitter) rivals the Beano and Roger the Dodger for the list of excuses offered - though I think UKOG have stopped mentioning 'nationally important' for the Kimmeridge Trollhunter.
But the HH-2z test is of the Portland - definitely not of national importance - a few million barrels recoverable hopefully (not tens or hundreds) so only very important for UKOG - Dunsfold, A24 and IOW all unproven, and even if all these were successful still not nationally important.
First RNS about Portland 2018 test progress was after 4 days of testing anyway.
As for when the ewt will start, eventually someone will be right - posters and tweeters have been predicting it for long enough.
Guess who posted - Nov 29th - 'Imminent commencement of testing. Monday 2nd December ?,if not sooner.'
& Dec 7th - 'Looking forward to the commencement of flow testing next week.'
As for waste tankers - luckily it hasn't been raining, otherwise...…….
I am thinking that final well cleaning finalised today,as eyes on site reported waste tankers leaving site, all ready for Monday switch on,the lads on Twitter will keep us updated as good as any RNS.gla.
To be fair, not "total".
It has in fact been highly rewarding already, but not necessarily for LTH's (yet).
Trading has all but dried up recently though, as margins and turnarounds have dwindled.
I've had to look elsewhere lately and am just sitting on all of my holding for now.
:)
Keep your g string on trollhunter.
Yes I’m a fool for buying this dog 100%.
Enjoy your weekend and hopefully this dog will turn after 2 years of total crap.
No fool, read it again. We don't know why the delay.
But everyone can be a lot more confident planning business going forward now.
Also if they've got something nationally significant to say you don't do it on election days.
Any sensible PR adviser would say wait till next week.
Wouldn't want to be out now!
UKOG has issued an RNS as late as 6.20 pm,still time yet to buy in for the weekend.GLA.
Trollhunter so your saying the flow tests have been delayed because of the election? Not sure it can get any worse here when rampers are blaming Boris and Corbyn. SS inform your share holders duh.
Correct, they need to switch it on to get oil flow.
The sign of activity will come again when we see HH-1 back on.
It will be good to know why they've paused but time will tell.
Is there no oil outflow from HH-2z horizontal well?
Something has been making the company pause.
Now the election is done and with a very positive economic and business outcome they can move forward with confidence.
Maybe now we'll see things moving again.
New yesterday and today would have been lost in the media, Monday morning could be the day to release news.
Wouldn't want to be out over the weekend!!!
GLA
What has happened to the " I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend" tribe. After hours RNS anyone.
Argus - Don’t be so paranoid. Just because some investors (like me) are concerned whether they will get ROI doesn’t make them a troll. There are probably a huge amount of II’s who are sitting on paper losses, it’s a case of questioning ‘are they going to eventually accept the loss and sell’ or stay put in the hope that rampers will be correct ?
boredom, alcohol (just look at this board after about 21:00 on a Friday), the wish to be proved right, - it's endless
The good thing is that it keeps the off the streets
You haven't a clue about my investments, because you don't know when I have bought or sold.
Unlike you, who must have lost on UKOG and many many more!
Thank you for a common sense post
Why would anyone who is not invested want to spend time posting on a board they supposedly have no interest in?
Maybe because they think they can cause panic, disruption, mislead, misinform, and they think that way they can cause the SP to fall, especially if they can act as part of a group.
Or could it just be pure vindictiveness or jealousy?
The delay could very well be trying to understand flow back. Wells, especially horizontal wells, have a life of their own and could present operational challenges that have to be remediated prior to real testing. Mechanical issues, Formation issues (water influx, damage etc)...list is long. It is pretty common and just has to be engineered to deliver an optimally performing well. An oil co can have all the ducks in a row and best laid intention for a speedy turn on the test/production, but all too often there are hurdles that have to be overcome first, especially in an exploration phase of a project. Whatever it is, be patient, UKOG has a good team and rightly, secured international expertise for assistance in technical problem solving. In 25 years on working in subsurface engineering, I can say that delays happen frequently, and most issues are solvable.
Yes I am actually!
I have never posted on a board where I'm not invested. Unlike you.
So do one!
You've just told everyone your plans! You really are lacking intelligence.
Go back to where you are invested!
Unlike you I don't feel the need to share my plans. Never have, never will.
But you know what they say, about people shouting about how much they have made, usually the opposite. So with your track record, perhaps you are too "proactive".
Now back to your new board please. More ramping to do.
Beware of Captain. Look at his history.
he buys into a share, ramps it, panics, sells and then looks for the next rainbow share. Then he stays around like a bad smell, deramping.
Done it loads on MATD and now on here!
There has been a total site rearrangement . Bunds, tanks. Loads of stuff removed.
The new tanks and their bunds need signing off. ( obviously the wells haven’t moved)
I know how many tanks there are :-)
Not as many as Bovington, but still a fine collection. He is not aiming low!
Caprtain Stanley said the other night he had sold and wants the price lower..
I still think he is banned poster Doose!
Let’s get these things signed off and EWT Test done .
CaptainStanley This was the last RNS on the subject. It is probably safe to say that some of the items can be ticked off, these included "HH-2z flow lines and ESP control cables will be connected, and the site's oil stock-tank storage capacity will also be significantly increased."
I would therefore have to agree with you.

UK Oil & Gas PLC
("UKOG" or the "Company")
HH-2z Completed as Horse Hill's First Future Horizontal Oil Production Well
UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that its Horse Hill-2z ("HH-2z") Portland horizontal well (UKOG 85.635% net controlling interest) has been completed and temporarily suspended as a future oil-production well. HH-2z is now ready to enter into the planned extended well test ("EWT") campaign. EWT operations are expected to start in early December, once the rig has left the site.
Following displacement of drilling fluids to clean completion brine, well completion operations included: the installation of 4.5" diameter slotted steel liner, production tubing, a high-capacity/high-rate downhole electric submersible pump ("ESP") and a new wellhead. Immediately following rig departure, HH-2z flow lines and ESP control cables will be connected, and the site's oil stock-tank storage capacity will also be significantly increased.
