I know one option who couldn’t possibly do a lot worse than SS and that is, of course, Jonathan Tidwell of Angus fame. Very reminiscent of failing Grayling but here we are where the share price has gone on a downward slope roughly opposite to the slope of the graph showing money in the pocket of SS. Not many could do worse for shareholders.
Sharegnomie, yes why not. They will, I anticipate, blame all their ills on SS without defining the alleged mistakes he has deemed to have made. I believe they, the majority you hide behind, are wrong, however to quote Tolstoy 'wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it. SS, UU.
Ocelot
SS replacement?
It hasn’t been the same since Captain Ramptastic was running the UKOG show. He got it right - accumulate PIs cash and move to Monaco. The former patron saint of AIM would like to let shareholders who have lost a fortune in UKOG, Polemos, Doriemus, Angus etc, etc that he shares your pain. Have you seen those investment warnings about something which seems too good to be true?
Vote coco the clown
Skwizz. Work on facts it will serve you well and you may make a little profit rather than the peanuts you keep spouting lol. Glh
"as seen recently 72% uplift in 2 trading days"
LOL!
From .21p up to .55p in two days.
And from .55p down to .19 today.
No outrageous ramping here.
Lolololol.
:D
How do you know it’s going sub 15 or lower ???
It's about Ukog and as seen recently 72% uplift in 2 trading days . You have to be in it to win it. Spike will come again glh
SS to be replaced by Coco the clown ?
If you're going to criticise SS, don't forget to suggest the name of the person you propose to replace him, preferably someone with knowledge of the Kimmeridge.
Wasred, why don't we just ask all the people that post on this board If they think SS is dong a good job, all the dilution, his pay and the bopd. What response do you think you will get . My bet is its not going to be good.
Sharegnomie, again you have made a sweeping statement regarding the abilities of SS. This time about his ability to run a company. However, when you cast aspersions on another's abilities, it is only fair, in the interests of common justice, that you should at least attempt to support such claims with fact. Therefore please explain exactly where you believe SS has failed in any duties he owed to the Company. Once you have detailed these alleged failure it will give other posters a chance to comment, agreeing or dis-agreeing with your views. SS, UU.
Mirasol, thanks for your thoughts on that, very interesting the 3 companies you have named I will have to start doing some research into them.
Wasred , I wasn't questiong SS's skill or experience in the oil industry, His ability to run a company however, is shocking.
Though it should be said I don't hold him responsible for what happened with SCC that was a show of incontinence that defies explanation.
That level of incompetence and his ability to run a company are on about an equal par I would say. However other people may view things differently.
Sharegnomie, not an odd question at all. That is excepting your have omission of pointing out and explaining that which you believe has not been done correctly in the first place and, by correctly, I mean not performed in the manner that would be expected by another of similar skill, knowledge, and expertise; with over 30 years experience, SS is highly skilled. SS, UU.
"This may be an odd question but is there another oil company that could takeover and do this properly?"
I think it's a very fair question - unfortunately the answer isn't encouraging. No oil company of any size is interested in the Onshore UK (other than at Wytch Farm) - the discoveries are too small, the politics and PR are toxic and it takes decades to get anywhere. The last big player was INEOS and they've moved all their interest, people and investment offshore. The players that are left are all small outfits with financing issues and low production.
You have three players who might be interested if they could get UKOG for almost nothing - IGAS are the biggest , painfully slow moving and dull and just about make a profit in a good year, Egdon are well run but small and may have to get a raise in to bring Wressle (2-3 mm barrels) on stream. Union Jack have (allegedly) enough money to pay their share of West Newton and Wressle but otherwise would have to dilute to buy UKOG. The rest (Europa, Angus et al) are dross.
None of the main three could afford UKOG at the current price and with the commitments it has - if it drops to maybe £ 10mm market cap someone might be willing to put us out of our misery
This may be an odd question but is there another oil company that could takeover and do this properly?
