Rudey...just incase you’re not familiar with the term. Reverse stock split = Consolidation atb.
I've been involved in a couple of consolidations & they most certainly did not go well, it's anathema for smaller companies imo.
As for the fundraising well I doubt UJO had much choice but to go to the market after RBD had raised a substantial amount (once again leaked & heavily discounted) it was always going to be disastrous. As all parties were fully funded for the EWT I think it was folly to raise when they did, far better to wait for a (hopefully successful) EWT thereby de-risking the project further giving a higher sp & less dilution. None of the JV partners have covered themselves in glory tbh, although RBD did get a bigger slice of the pie.
I've seen a number of posts regarding WN as being a foregone conclusion here, no water, 1000 bopd flow rates etc. this is absolute rubbish, the whole point of an EWT is to establish if it's a goer.
Rudey...First point if you’re referring to me, I have been invested in ujo for well over 2 years Second point the information I posted is free for all to view on google and not just plucked out of thin air. And a third point if you are seriously wanting ujo to consolidate their sp at this time in their development you are not as smart an investor as you think you are.
Weird. What would possess a non-shareholder to go out of his way to post that load of rubbish? Sad or what.
Researchers at the Stern School of Business at NYU and Emory University looked at more than 40 years of data, from 1962 to 2001, and found that of the 1,600 reverse stock splits, shares underperformed their non-split peers by 15.6% in the first year following the split, 36% in the second year and 54% in the third year. From 2001 The Pace of Reverse Stock Splits Has Picked Up in Recent Years. But Are They Good for Investors?
The reverse stock split trend continues. Just since the beginning of 2018, my quick count (by no means exhaustive!) came up with 203 reverse stock splits, and 118 in 2017 alone. In fact—with a few rare exceptions—reverse stock splits are bad news for investors
Consolidation in Penny Stock Penny stock companies consolidate their shares more frequently than any other size of investment and historically it has a negative effect for shareholders. Many penny stocks have far too many shares available because of their tendency to continually issue new stock to raise money. One way to quickly reduce the outstanding shares is to consolidate. But this tends to see the share price drop in penny stocks, also leaving the way clear for further dilution.

Ahhh moving on nicely.
A quiet day but getting nearer I guess. I enjoyed CJs blog today on twitter.
Very good and informative.
Some nice bits to read too on keddington, North Kelsey and Fiskerton.
Definitely ginge, ST. Your post identifying him was removed almost immediately - sure sign.
would we not need to flip WN before any talk of consolidation.?
I'd be quite happy with a share consolidation. Every one I've been involved with before has been beneficial to shareholders, so yes 100:1 sounds good.
Well I discussed this with a someone standing at a urinal almost drunk and 25 to one was better than none we agreed a few days ago.
lets have a Share consolidation 25 to 1 and see how stable we become.
