I hope so and with RBD at the wheel it should speed up especially with their recent raise for WN. All good as far as I’m concerned but with a few hiccups.
No problem . I just hope Rathlin now get a grip of this fantastic opportunity .
Sorry Mukka that wasn’t for you. We posted at the same time. I do agree that this is dragging a little longer than I would want especially after the excitement when work was taking place. The delay is probably down to permits as someone has stated
All or nothing please clarify which part of my post is baseless ??
I only look in now and again Mixster. I understand people frustrations but that has led to many just ranting incoherently as the last post shows . You put across a technical analysis with some comprehensive breakdown and the reply is just a baseless rant. AIM is a dangerous place and O&G is one of the harshest sectors to make money. Many decent posters have left which has left a void for decent conversations. We all want to make money here and yes the price has been played by a large investor but that doesn’t take away from the fact that we’re close to making some serious money unless you believe we’re being told untruths around the results. Have a good day all and let’s try to be cordial.
Another good post Mix , my only concern is how long are rathlin going to drag there feet over this all that detailed work going by there present momentum will take years, lets not forget its taken them five years to come back to westnewton, and now months to get to EWT,which still has not started ,yes we all know what's down there a **** load of oil,its now all about managing the situation and I am afraid Rathlin do not inspire confidence, certainly not DB's fault, but Rathlin need to start acting like a operator and get on with it.
So as far as the next steps on West Newton and without going into operational detail like installation of knodding donkeys and storage tanks.. The following are what I still see as key Milestones. Given the volumetics that came out, I now question my strong belief that we need to prove out West Newton B. We could get an offer well before that if EWT is good given the volumetrics released.
BTW.. 1 is COMPLETE. Others should be in progress and can run in parallel.
1) DONE - Completion of analysis on WN A2 that allows for a revised interpretation of the seismic data across the new drill data
2) Redesign and Recommencement of EWT and successful completion with positive flow results of EWT on West Newton A2
3) Revised Program of work given that first oil extraction was targeted for 2024 in current program. Needs to be aggressively played forward in revised program.
4) Complete CPR across the Pel with a higher valuation given 45m oil column. We may revise later after 3D sesimic is complete over Spring hill and Ellerby.
5) Commencement of and successful drill and flow test in West Newton B with the extents being proven and more oil
reserves found in the deeper Cadeby
6) Successful seismic survey across the duplicate formations of Spring Hill and Ellerby
7) Updated CPR to take into account 3D sesimic results from duplicate formations.
... And post of the day goes to Croqman. Only decent post I've seen. What a load of **** that's been posted here. A few distractors on the board with the usual name calling and no solid info on UJO.
So in short.
1 - Rumours of placing. No ****e Sherlock.. I've mentioned to you there probably will be one if the revised program changes the current strategy. Until DB sees that revised program, all he can say is we are currently funded for current pprogram. We place for the value add as our Modus Operandi. If we place again for West Newton it will be to advance our position and hopefully a buy out of the license.
2 - "DB do the decent thing and do an open placing and not his mates in the City" ARE YOU NUTS. I don't want the placing in the hands of any numpty that will sell out on 10% or panic sell if we drop. DB has always placed in safe hands. Institutions and Lthers who won't panic on a rumour. They will hold.. Not sell.
3) COIL dumping. Get over it. I don't like the guy and glad he's out and like it or not on what he did, it happened. Trust your research and move on.
So many arm chair CEOs here that want to tell DB how to run a company. They want to **** others for averaging down because they didn't do it. They want to blame everyone else for the SP. Seriously come on. DB has grown the assets in this company and the percentage holding of those assets over the years. We just need to nail one and Hopefully Wressle will be that first one home with a flip of West Newton up after that. We won't realise true value imho on West Newton until we flip it.
Just give the man a chance to do what he has to do to deliver the value and trust your own strategy.. don't blame others.
Rant over Mix.
