I’m now feeling more comfortable than ever. 36 seems to be the long standing new baseline. With all the chaff blown away, and LTHs fully loaded, the demand in a few weeks could double this rapidly to a price more in line with financial institution’s expectations. previous demand has seen it move more than 300% more than once. But I’m not looking at p, I’m looking at the Mcap, as we head towards 100M. Exciting times!
Sentiment completely gone on this chat board?
I think some posts were removed - mainly irrelevant chit chat I think.
No posts because there is no news
Is this lse board down today, or has there been no posts since early this morning?
Covid not Covidity
AJamesW, it's so easy for you to play the blame game now you have the hindsight!.. Covidity was new to the whole world. A strategy to manage it had to evolve at the same rate as the knowledge around it grew.
The UK recognised a pathway out was through vaccination and the Govt got ahead of the game in ordering Vaccines way ahead of other countries....Look forward not back!... you'll be happier but I suspect you are not one to take advice from anyone.
Agree, Landslide in Hartlepool. Cannot believe that Starmer has chosen a Remoaner candidate when 70% voted to Leave. Hari kari job. As for Greta and Lard Adonis who share the same 'smacked bottom' features'. The first plays with a 'straight' bat whereas the second......the first a tool of the establishment, the second just a tool.
Jonathan Bartley co-leader of the Green Party on TV yesterday said " if you want green vote green " . That does it for me, who wants to know about police, security, education, infrastructure... ect, what we want are peas, broccoli and old Rafferty's car.
https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas
shows that hospital admissions are way down. deaths are down to almost zero and vaccinations are way up
COVID SARS EBOLA!!!
Because of COVID, deaths rates worldwide are the highest outside war in history.
Never mind the huge rise in cancers and cardiac deaths due to lack of diagnosis and treatment delays.
How can anyone state disease rates are down as a nurse just about to start another 15 hour day I can assure everyone disease rate are UP and massively up
How can anyone state disease rate are down
Greta says. “You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words…People are suffering. People are dying.” But emotion must not be confused with scientific credibility, and in this case, the “science” behind Thunberg’s pleas for help is (mostly) wrong, and her message dangerously misguided. First, the science: Despite the tearful claims of stolen childhoods, suffering and death, Greta’s generation has grown up in the most prosperous time in human history. Global hunger is at an all-time low. Fewer live in poverty than ever before. Life expectancy is up. Disease is generally down. And all of this has occurred in the face of rising global temperatures
The last 3 posts are the saddest collection I've ever seen. Guys, it can't go on like the last 100y. OK, we can extract petroleum cleaner and better, especially where we have found it. Long-term, the carbon-capture and other technologies will even things out. But, be clear, more & more CO2 up there & you & I are done, & later generations. CH4 is worse, but need not be released. GLA.
Gretas views and how she would like them carried out, scares me more than global warming...
Don’t be fooled by Greta...Greta Thunberg dismisses carbon capture as sole answer to climate crisis Speaking as part of a panel at the World Economic Forum at Davos, Greta Thunberg warned that ‘nothing has been done’ to reverse the climate crisis. Greenpeace, Sunrise Movement, and other groups leading the fight against climate change asked Congress not to build climate legislation using “market-based mechanisms and technology options” like carbon capture that some believe serves as a smoke screen for fossil fuel interests. Activist Greta Thunberg often referred to this same report in her speech to world leaders at the U.N. Climate Action Summit last month, and she also criticized carbon capture.
Mix.
Appreciate your insight but we must be aware of the fact that (as far as ui am aware) the site does not have any tri separation facility. That is oil , water and gas. We know there is gas flare off (bi separation) but the water separation must be done at the refinery as there appears to be no water separation equipment on site. I could be wrong.
Therefore, any 'liquids' leaving the site will be Hydrocarbons. - I.e. oil and water.
What the cut is we do not know but there ALWAYS is a cut.
As a matter of being Up front and correct to the investors UJO and their partners should fess up on this.
Happy Daze! And GLTA!
Note.. If you look at that link it says...
" Planning consent and an Environmental Permit are in place to undertake the proposed work at site."
If you go back to the Planning decision we have 4 techniques to stimulate the flow which are..
. Drilling of a short side-track well
. Radial Drilling
' Proppant Squeeze
. Acidisation
Egdon and UJO opted for proppant over acidisation as it's more environmentally friendly, effective and cheaper.
The decision says.
."The variation will involve adding the following permitted activities:
I. Increasing permitted site area by O.12 hectares.
ii . A Mining Waste Operation, as defined by the Mining Waste Directive and Schedule 20 of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016, relating to the management ot extractive waste.
The Waste Management Plan (WMP) is being varied to include management of extractive mining wastes from side-track drilling, radial drilling and near well-bore treatments. The near well-bore treatments will include an acid-squeeze, hot oil wash, solvent treatment, nitrogen injection; and a proppant squeeze. Waste gas will be flared through an enclosed ground flare, at low volumes well below the 10 tonnes per day Industrial Emissions Directive threshold."
So planning in place for the techniques but my understanding is that approval would be required for some of them if the operators wanted to execute a particular technique such is the case with proppant squeeze.
All imho.. As always DYOR Right.. Good luck all Mix
You know that game you play when you get closer...cold, cold. I think we're getting warmer...
Warmer.... soon be hot.... HOT..... Wahhhhh.
Hey phoo and Roganjt. Only looking in. Expecting a few few updates soon and can't wait for EWT mobilisation on West Newton.
On Wressle.. Yes there is two approvals in play
Proppant squeeze from the OGA which should be close to completion and is long overdue but out of Egdon’s control. NLC have no say in that process.
Then there is the additional storage which goes through the NLC process as its the hazardous substances approval. Afaik the HSE who have an input into the approval have given this the green light. Storage tanks are in place so approval is to store oil in them. Just need an update from NLC now so shouldn't be long.
In the mean time you'll see a crane in every now and again for some slickline work and routine maintainance.
All just down to patience.
Hope this helps.. Mix
I would trust the company over the well-known s stirrer that is Pboo.
Pboo,
Meanwhile the company 'Egdon' are saying this!!

This is what Mighty says in reply to davethedrill1

Pboo,
I am sure Mighty will take a look when he has time, meanwhile the Company is saying 'Planning consent and an Environmental Permit are in place to undertake the proposed work at site.'
Roganjt
Yes I can, same wording was used on the old site. Yes they have planning and EA permissions to do a EWT and re perforation which is what they are currently doing. MightyBelle who most UJO investors respect has said quite a few times that they are waiting for Propant Squeeze permission.
Feck me Pboo, can't you follow a link?
Has guidance been given?
re: proppant squeeze timescale?
