MAX:
Your response was incredible. How the heck do you get to that level of detail? Are you retired?
I don't know of any other poster on this site who can provide this service. I say "service" as you freely share it.

What you talking about pops of course your assuming again I dont know each project is unique and different such a moot point. However there is a over arching framework of being compliant. That will already be understood. Stop sounding like you been investing in mining for years you havent . The permit will come in time
Nice to see we are on the same page pops.

Hi Max
Yes it would be great to mine it ourselves but if we are realistic look at the map where we are. We are miles from the port BHP and Rio have railway lines near buy that cost 100s of millions $ we would be mad not to JV with them we haven’t got the collateral needed. Move in with the big boys with all their multi million dollar bank balances and take the percentage cut. We will get an income far quicker. I’m hoping by the end of this month we will have the results back. I believe we will then enter into talks over the following months to find the right JV partner. Who will then drill more to find the JORC. Followed by the mining of the JORC towards the end of the year I believe would be possible if all the permits were granted. These are my thoughts.

pops no one said it means they give away permits but point was more that there is history of working there and we should know how to be compliant so am not worried.
Excellent post Paul. I have a feeling that we will mine the Iron Ore ourselves and hope we do since it will be our quickest route to becoming a mid-tier and billion pound plus company.
It’s how Atlas Iron became a multi-billion dollar company, and they only started with a 20M tonne tenement.
These are the reasons why I think we will mine ourselves:
At the webinar Bill said, “We will make sure are reviewing and looking at all the options to us that will give the maximum return to our investors.”
- Mining ourselves will definitely give the maximum return, especially when Iron Ore is currently over $170/tonne!

In this interview Bill said in 3-6months time we might decided if we have 100M tonnes of high-grade DSO Iron Ore we can chuck it into trucks and do it ourselves:
6min - https://www.share-talk.com/bill-brodie-good-ceo-technical-director-of-alien-metals-ufo-l-interview-3/#gs.vehsqr
In Australia we have a Geologist, a Field Assistant and an Exploration Manager. In this interview Bill said they are Iron Ore focused. He said once we get the results, we will then look at what we’ve got and put our heads together and decide on the next phase of work:
13:50mins - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRcBVqYj4ZU
At Kalgan we actually have several kilometres of high-grade DSO BIF ridge locations which is very easy to mine.
So we might do the export grade DSO Iron Ore ourselves and leave the more difficult Iron Ore for a JV deal.
IMO, it would be a shame if we don't pick the low hanging fruit ourselves.
Or BHP, Rio or FMG who are on our boarder and looking over our shoulder might put a great deal on the table once we get the results. Only time will tell, but at current Iron Ore prices, we have great options and it’s looking very exciting indeed!
Catching up on the chat . Sad to see you go mate but I dont agree with alot of your reasons . I think ufo been very fair with the news output nd targets and on Twitter compared with some others and we seen how long labs can be already . I dont see why the mexican Gov would disprove of the plan/permit when we already working there with donovan and have a history there and if they have issue I trust bill can sort behind scenes without having to realese a rns update. Just slow is all. In regards to the mining ourselves we discussed this before and had fun with it . I dont think it will happen or want it to really but I think his comments was just some banter from bill and at least showing the industry that we will at least cost it up as to not just take any old deal
Cheers guys,
In relation to the DSO comment I made about mining it ourselves in Bills previous interviews he mentioned about grabbing a shovel and chucking it in the back of the truck ourselves. Max will probably be able to tell you what interview exactly from his mixtape collection of Bills past performances. I believe it was mentioned in one he did in December time!
Great post Paul. Agree with much of what you say. Interesting point about mining DSO ourselves; in all the interviews and reading material I’ve come across, JVs has always appeared the likely direction (or that was at least the sense I always got from Bill).
Out of interest, what makes you think mining DSO ourselves as opposed to JVs may become the route? I got the sense from Bill that partnering in order to de-risk and take advantage of others shouldering the heavy lifting 2as the preference - TIA for the reply
Thanks for you input guys
I was thinking along the same lines as you
So all good
Yes I’m well invested here
So long term
I do read a lot of comments made good and bad
I know max gets very excited with news .... I do like his enthusiasm brings faith when needed
I’d like to know MY Eveains thoughts if he or she cares to comment if they think it’s a good investment
I not hold it as advice btw
Great Post Paul
I am 35% down, not worried though I am 100% confident this will turn around. All I need is patience
The fact is we only have to look at other niners such as greatland , oriole , rambler etc that all have overshot in the past couple of months and are no in consolidation. We have already been through all this and are ready for the next leg up.
Slv is the only thing keeping silver price depressed however there will be a de coupling between paper and physical soon enough as spot price for physical is around 10 bucks higher than paper and that can only go on for so long.
Donovan 2 will be a side show compared to the iron ore and silver we are sitting on.
When you look at what Turner pope have priced in its a joke. I have no idea why they are so pessimistic but I suppose it is so we over shoot their expectations and bill has a nice placing at the 2.2p mark later this year.
I believe that placing will be to mine the DSO ourselves and possibly start on the existing silver mine infrastructure that is there. If we do instigate those mines ourselves we are looking at 20p plus if we joint venture them off we are looking at around 7/8p and if we just do the DSO we are looking at around 13p.
The silver squeeze if it blows to 40 bucks an ounce will push ufo to 3p alone without much further news.
Remember how small our current mega cap is! Bag of potential here. Yes its grown since last year but that was just a shell of a company. Bill has stacked aload of muscle on the skin and bones of this Alien! All imo as a long term hold
Its always the same on these BB's there is a perpetual "fight" between short / medium and long term views.. there are those at the short end of the spectrum that are clearly looking for explosive fast profits / big daily upside that will overlook the long term more fundamental / development views. I think that boat may have now sailed for UFO, and it would rise more steaddily from these levels on ever better incremental news. (unless we hit PGM's in Liz Hill )
You could argue that most AIM stocks are not actually suited to long term holdings especially as they have zero yield (divi's) and they are also almost impossible to value as the company trading / infomation is sparse to say the least.
However, there is a space for everyone to co-exist if we would all see each others point of view. From a short term perspective if I were looking at making a quick 100% in the next few weeks this is not the place i would be looking at because we have already risen approx 500% over the past year.. I doubt there is not a lot of "shock news" likely to come to the upside soon thats not at least partly priced in. On the other hand (longer term) should UFO manage to deliver all of their projects to at least JORC level over the next 18 / 24 months, I see not reason to not see the Sp at around 7 - 8p .
Just a side note, The Gold price is starting to look really bullish to me... once the FED cap those long term yields (which it has to) then its game on for a big rally.. Silver has held up very well.. but i expect as always in historical terms for Silver to blow gold away to the upside.
Hi Boyzer. Thanks for the update. May we all live long and prosper. Good luck to you!
Does it really make any difference? We’re all here to make a profit, and personally I don’t care whether people trade in and out or hold forever.
I understand why people get a little impatient, but I’m very happy to hold for news. As I’ve said before on here, I’m not that bothered about the silver, and see it as more of a bonus. I don’t see the silver squeeze happening now, but base metals are still very strong, and the variety of prospects we have cover all options. None of it will happen overnight though, so tuck those shares away and just chill. Or trade within the range and risk missing the news. Your shout.
Hi Forest, I didn’t say that i was leaving because of no profits. I can understand why you might think that, but i drift in and out of profit at the current range, and still exiting for the reasons listed.
I’m an investor. I trade using my Sipp with ii, and if you look at my posts, you will see my slow accumulation to my holdings here as they grew. Hardly the actions of a day or short term trader.
I’m prepping a response for the other thread, both thanking others for their lack of abuse as well as highlighting a few other issues which have been raised which are worthy of consideration and an opposing view shared. So i won’t reply to you here further if that’s ok, to keep the main thread intact.
Boyzer says he's leaving, selling is 5M shares because he hasn't seen a profit in only a few months. Did he buy UFO shares as a trader or investor? The shortest I've owned shares in a company for is 12 minutes, that little foray into Greatland Gold made me £2k. That's trading. I've been in UFO for about 9 months now and I'm not planning on leaving for at least another year. That's investing. Will I make any money? Who knows. All I know is that when I up sticks and leave I won't try trashing the company as the door swings closed behind me.
Hope we all have great weekends, GLA
