Awesome, thanks for adding that HH - the more you know!
Makes complete sense too, no point having masses of land sat in the back pocket of a major.
It was good to see the video of the geologist (man in his 50's I'm guessing) doing the sampling at Hanc0ck. He seemed very focused!
@EWT - I can't claim to have actual hard facts about the application process, but the indication I have had from other Aussie explorers I've been invested with is that; as you say you pay a nominal fee to submit an application but that there is also an element of a "job interview" type pitch.
It's not about simply being the biggest who can throw the most money around, but about timescales, goals, approach, engagement with community and a whole host of other stuff. Sometimes a smaller more hands on company can stand out against a major who will just swallow up projects blindly.
I may be wrong but that's the impression I've got.
I suppose its a good way to stop the majors just buying everything for peanuts and sitting on it and forming monopoly. Hopefully this is the billion £ one that got away lol . I think 2022 going to be very exciting just need to get getting good data for the rest of this year .
Yes smiller. He said they finished drilling 35-40 holes at Hamersley.
The maiden drilling already gave us a DSO strike of over 300m which is much longer than Fenix.
So much more data to come out soon!
Hey Smiller, from what I have read, those who want a tenement put down a deposit with their application - I don’t think it’s majorly expensive ($5,000 was the figure I saw, but this may have changed). Australia are a very mining friendly country, as a lot of tax revenue is generated from the giant outflows of minerals/ores etc. so are keen to get companies in, exploring and mining as long an environmental and social guidelines are met.
After the deposit and application it seems it is random if there are a number of contenders (not uncommon for contention - I have seen lots of documents of several companies applying for the same deposit).
Yes Max I kind of got that thought regarding the DSO and only 160klm from the port compared to Fernix 490klm must be much cheaper to ship. I'm beginning to warm to the idea lol

dipp i said a similar thing in feedback . The 3d videos and reasoning for picking drill locations are good for the non geologists
I gave some feedback afterwards using their system that I found the videos and imagery useful in understanding the projects and progress better and that the Q&A was very useful too. I also stated that I'd like to see a quarterly update personally if progress warrants updating us this regularly. Worth doing the same if you found the webinar useful or if you have suggestions/criticisms, make the time to feedback :-)
yeah no idea how the ballot systems work? Really thought it would just be the highest bidder? Anyone know how it works in OZ. Hammersley is looking good , they finished phase 2 now so maybe results in 2-3weeks? Then no doubt they will drill again either new ridges or more for JORC. OZ is where it is at. I asked the question about focusing on just DSO until we get income vs all projects. He did answer that its not his style , I understand projects can be held up if only focusing on 1 but I do fear we will run out of cash. However any raising occurs in order to get DSO in a boat it will be made back in no time I think
The turner pope question was me
After watching the presentation, you can really tell the company is back really strong. Great leadership. Great technical skills. Great projects.
It was interesting to hear Hamersley was won in a ballot with the larger players Rio & BHP, since they all applied for it.
We are so lucky to have it.
IMO we are on the road to be the next DSO producer. How exciting is that!
And the images of Elizabeth Hill were amazing! Hitting the ground on EH on Monday!
Well done Bill!! :)
Hi Miller you make some very good point I dont think any of us knew BHP. RIO and Brockman where after the Han**** tenement. Elizabeth hill 3D image was very impressive. Like naps says Bill was very good today and took time to answer the questions. We just have to be patient like we have all said before,

@livestock - I'd say that was a kind of non-news statement, placements are always a possibility with junior explorers, it's what is done with any money raised that makes them good or bad and decides whether SP goes up or down.
Mine were the more "technical" questions surrounding Hanc0ck, around rock types, formations etc. really informative to hear from Bill on these, and the location they have identified these BIF's is very exciting, as well as the areas they are currently targeting. I'd be surprised if they've even covered 30% of the high potential area in all honesty, judging by the mapping. Very very encouraging, let's get that drill back for a 3rd phase programme across the ridges starting on the west side, as it looks likely to me that they will contain mineralisation right across the tenement - the dolerite Bill was speaking about is the other predominant rock-type within the Weeli Wolli formation that makes up a large portion of our tenement.
yeah what did he say about the a JORC at Siris site, now they have finished phase 2 drills , did he mention how long that would take? Also 100% the Turner Pop que was max haha
The only new bit of new is there could be another placing before the years out so expect another price drop in the months ahead, this will never be over 1p again this year
It was definitely interesting with the videos, imagery and Q&A - very much worth watching for new and existing PI's for sure :-)
he smashed it today, very very cool he loves it, great times ahead and what a price at the min to top up or invest for the 1st time
I have to say first time viewing this app and its the best presentation Bill has done to date, the usually chat with some new cool videos but really the 15mins of questions at the end was a game changer and very good. I feel even more confident about Hammersley now , 30% covered , the fact the majors bid for the site also etc. Lets see if market reacts positively.
