So many investors want to make quick money, I recommend the casino or crypto for quick gains and losses, however I'll put my money in a safer bet long term as im happy for them to drill as many holes as they like before they are confident to dig for production, after all they only looking after PI, would hate for them to start digging and find nothing or break even, so the research into digging is more positive to me than actually digging as I can wait long term. Have a nice day all
Are we exspecting news ?
No idea but I imagine the higher the grade the lower the oz cost and we have pretty high grade just hope we find another ore body and increase volume
$10 to$15 seems to be the industry norm., no idea what ours cost would be.
Not sure if I'm right but silver per ounce is a little over $22 anybody know by an rns what our extraction costs would be for EH
Somethings got to give, KN's take on twitter -
"Mining Ratio is closer to 7:1, now trading at 85:1 - then what happens??? My #TripleDigitSilver prediction is based on production & demand - simple. Consumption is growing rapidly, mine production is flat to down, no hords left - where is the supply coming from $AG $FR.TO $PSLV"
We have a hoard - just need to see it above ground.
"Since then has Alien Metals done any advancement on the mines for extraction"
I'm afraid I will have to disagree with that statement if you've been following closely you would have realised we are much closer to extraction than you think.
There was a successful independent scoping study for Han**** showing that exceptionally strong returns are possible with an initial JORC resource of 10.4Mt @ 60.4% Fe resulting in 8-year mine life with an expected rate of 1.25Mtpa
and let's not forget the exceptionally low strip ratios of 1:1 which are very economical.
"Lloyd Edmunds, in terms of opening discussions on all the main development and operational fronts to get some early but essential concepts and thoughts from some of the major companies in Australia already engaged in this type of work. This will allow IOCA to have as much information available from an early stage to be able to decide how best to develop the project. From experience, the Company is also engaging early with the necessary government agencies to enable good and timely cooperation as the project develops. The main activities commenced already include:
· Engagement with the contract mining sector for drill, blast, crush and screen activities.
· Engagement with the contract haulage and logistics sector.
· Discussions commencing with relevant government authorities, including Pilbara Ports Authority and Main Roads of Western Australia.
· Planning of detailed metallurgical test work programme for crushing and screening design work.
Offtake
IOCA is also commencing discussions with potential offtake partners for our high-grade iron ore products. IOCA is encouraged by the strong interest in higher grade iron ore projects as markets look to reduce their environmental footprints via utilising >60% Fe feedstock and as per the Company's strategy of opening up discussions on several fronts at an early stage, which can only be advantageous for timely development.
I am also expecting news of the reopening of EH which is one of if not the highest silver mine in Australia.
Alien has purchased mining headframe, machinery and equipment to re-open and access the historic Elizabeth Hill silver mine after over 20 years of the mine lying dormant. The previous owner produced over 1m oz silver with exceptional grades of 2,195 g/t (70/oz t)
The original underground mining team has been commissioned and the equipment is en-route to Elizabeth Hill
This commission will include the establishment of an on-site camp
and planning for technical work, including all necessary permitting and equipment accreditation, is underway
agree Max.. the SP movement is not related to production nor value in the explorer world.. how can it be.. as nobody knows what anything is really worth yet..
Wishbone have moved a long way in the past week or so on nothing.. thin air ..
This is why people go around ramping etc.. in hope that the "crowd" will pick a share to bid up
UFO is a rare bird if it can get into production next year... very rare.. an explorer with revenue.. !!
This talk of the SP of junior explorers only going up once they are extracting & producing is nonsense.
What makes the SP of explorers go up on SILJ who are not in production?
Think about it long and hard and you might just get the right answer.
Most explorers haven't even found any silver and are no where near to production.
UFO is far ahead of most juniors with the highest-grade silver mine with mine shafts and head frame where you can actually access the super high-grade orebody. Plus EH sits on a mining lease!
EH is many years ahead of other juniors.
Please retrace your findings yes the Share price did hit 3 way back in october 2020 on the basis of this
- Recent field work at Hamersley Iron Ore projects completed with 95 samples taken and more detailed mapping completed
- Negotiations with Capstone Mining for a Joint Venture on the Donovan 2 Copper Gold project in Mexico continuing
- Ongoing work to secure drill permits to carry out maiden drill programs on the San Celso and Los Campos Silver projects in Mexico
- Finalisation of trenching program on the Elizabeth Hill Silver project
- Acquiring and processing new data set for new permit ELA 47/4422 surrounding Elizabeth Hill Silver project for exploration planning
- Continued review of additional projects to add to the Company's existing precious metals and base metals portfolio
Since then has Alien Metals done any advancement on the mines for extraction ... not really so therefor people lose interest in the product, also please look into history and you will see the big hoax of the supposed Monolith found in the dessert (associate alien metals and monolith), so with the worlds crazy association of trends this helps boost the price.
When we start to extract the Silver we found and produce results then we will grow again, so i am not knocking the company, been following them since before they were called Alien metals and will still continue. But until they start delivering results from all their discoveries i will still be open minded on the price
It's going to take more than earth shattering assay results to move the sp now. Since the start of the year the results have been excellent yet the sp has gone down, you only have to look at the RNS's and the sp to see how the market has reacted and to see what the market expects.
Bill clearly said in the November Placing RNS that some of the dosh was to fund the projects for the next 6 to 12 months, not my words it's what is in the RNS.
We're using the money wisely but we're still burning it and the clock is ticking.
So with 6 months of money to play with IMHO the only RNS to move the sp in the right direction will be the one that has Joint Venture in the title. Without that any placement is going to be at a huge discount to the last one and worse still if that happens I bet we won't get the chance to buy at whatever that price might be and average down. Let's not pretend we have enough money to get that ore out of the ground and into a truck or get EH up and running. It'll come good but I see a few bumps to overcome yet the biggest one being funding everything. If we get the funding sorted then happy days.
That's not what you said HH.
Anyway being a "Wet Blanket" as you called yourself butters no parsnips in the mining sector.
The cog that squeaks the most gets the oil. Not much oil around at moment, but that will soon change as we saw in 2020 and as smiller said the projects are far more advanced since then. Capital flows can come back in a flash and we will re-rate to fair value of 2.7p and will be reassessed higher during 2022 as we advance the projects further.
@Max I believe what I said was that based upon expectations of increasing news flow potentially improving sentiment, I thought the SP may go up in the second half of 2021 but that I wasn't going to put exact dates or prices to any prediction. That if actual news wasn't perceived to live up to expectations then by Christmas the price may have dipped again... as it was the price didn't move up on expectations since which I've been suggesting that as we failed to recover sentiment quickly we may have to endure a long period of price stagnation before things finally pick up for us.
The fact that so many here, myself included, have been proved wrong in our expectations proves the point I made below.
There are however degrees of being wrong in that I've not been endlessly calling almost every move as the start of an explosive and imminent move upwards.
@HH, you said the SP will go up after H2 2021. Then when H2 came, you then said it will be Q3 2021.
The downturn in the mining sector has obviously taken a lot longer than we anticipated. All shares in the mining sector are down.
As Rick Rule always says investors are the only people that complain when the price of what they want to buy goes down! Treat the market rout as a gift.
The Corporate Presentation stated "Pushing for ‘Shovel Ready’ Q1 2023" ie in just 10 months.
Friday's article in UK Investor Magazine stated:
"Bill Brodie Good, Alien Metals CEO, said they were working to ‘get this project into production within a very short timeframe.’"
https://ukinvestormagazine.co.uk/alien-metals-boasts-multiple-opportunities-for-value-creation/
Markets are forward looking.
DSO at surface and silver nuggets just 1m down.
UFO provides the fastest route to income in the mining sector.
Hopefully we get some decent investors after the 121 Mining Event.
BB - in spite of my patient caution I wouldn't be here if I didn't think UFO a worthwhile investment;
that said the primary points I've been making for the last 18months or more are;
1) that whatever anybody here says there are no certainties in this sector. UFO is merely one company where I personally think the potential long term rewards outweigh the short term risks... I've put my money where my mouth is but I am prepared to be wrong! ( so far my profits suggest I've been very right)
2)minerals exploration is always a slow, unpredictably volatile, business that takes much much longer than most private investors hope for, usually coming to fruition long after the impatient have given up and sold out. I am therefore expecting to under-estimate how long I may have to wait for my investment to show any really big gains.
3) countless statistics show that that vast majority of active investors underperform passive market trackers and about 75% actually lose money. I am therefore expecting almost all the predictions I read here to be wrong.
It is only logical to assume that those who have invested in a company will think more favourably about it's prospect than those who have chosen not to invest. Bulletin boards tend to reflect the views of a minority of the most enthusiastic investors so are hardly places for unbiased or moderate opinions.
If you can recognise that statistically the odds are against you making profits trading any share and that those odds statistially get worse if acting on the advice of bulletin boards then you are probably ahead of most... that may just be enough to encourage caution, patience, and above all else, self reliance in doing your own research and forming you own opinions.
However, as I've said before I'm expecting that our SP may stagnate a while longer, that we may have to wait until April 2023 before we see any upturn in sentiment, and that I expect to be wrong about those two points in that our SP might finally move when we are all least expecting it.
Spot on Mr Miller!
Some people here seem to think this will/should be happening like yesterday. Lots of boxes still to tick.
Even HH has been saying the same so...
As the song goes...a little patience.
@Chris2, you ask, "when is there going to be any news that even reports how UFO intend to create a revenue stream?"
Have you not read WHI's valuation report?:
“Alien Metals Strong progress made; more to come”
https://*********************/research/whireland/wh-ireland-alien-metals-ufo-strong-progress-made-more-to-come/41_2022042703340410297
"We see a clear route to near-term cash generation from Han****, in a project that Alien could manage itself."
"Near-term cashflow from DSO iron ore production – Alien is looking to develop a premium high-grade Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) iron ore operation with low capex, low opex and a ready market. The first project, Han****, requires no infrastructure (barring a small haul road), and can be operated via contractors. There is also the very real potential to grow the existing resource to support long-term operations and a longer term goal to add a second production site at Brockman. In our opinion, by pursuing a contractor miner model, Alien can effectively manage these operations while advancing its other projects."
@Infiniteamg where we extracting and shipping when the SP for to 3p high?? The answer is no so that's a stupid comment.
I also dont get this concept Chris has that one day you can wake up as a company and just start shipping material out before you drill and before you do the legal and environmental paperwork required for a license. I dont think mining investing is for you Chris , you have the wrong timeframe for progress and results I think tech or crypto perhaps more for you.
Chris i could not agree more. This company has been all about the drilling and results of there finds in the past 8 Months
This is why the shares are sliding, until Alien Metals start extracting and shipping we will not see movement, once the extraction has begun and the results are positive then we will see the movement we expect.
The company has moved on from discovery to a production potential and investors want to see the results as do we.
Not going to argue you with you Chris you called the drop a long time back and I don't totally disagree with all your comments you are just at the extreme negative end and only come out when the share drops. Maxs is at the other end of the spectrum and only see's positives which is not always the way to look at things but I know he knows more about UFO if any body needs to know anything and I fully respect him for that.
The one thing I do know for sure is when this dose move you like a puddle in the sun with disappear into the either only to return when it rains.
Maxs thanks for that info.

AND C23PO slithers out...
Exploration Company and Drilling..seems quite reasonable to me unless you prefer this way?
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3007512/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_23
Sadly, you can't do it like they did in the films you muffet.
Oh no! that's bound to offend....
Drilling drilling drilling. That’s all you hear about.
When is this company going to make any money?
More to the point when is there going to be any news that even reports how UFO intend to create a revenue stream?
2.7p is a long way off unless there is some news about a business plan that will create wealth.
Merely repeating the same thing over and over is not going to interest the market.
Don’t believe me? Just look at the share price.
Wonder if we have an XRF? Top of the range about £30k.
Hi Turbo. Should be a very busy couple weeks for UFO. Drilling Hanc0ck & Munni Munni (US$5bn in situ PGM & Gold) this week.
Reopening the highest-grade silver mine Elizabeth Hill any day.
Assay results from San Celso & Donovan2 out hopefully next week (fingers crossed 78m of sulphides are metal bearing!).
Then drilling Brockman after Hanc0ck (which the majors were drilling right up to the south & northern boarders!).
Looking forward to getting to our initial current fair value of 2.7p in due course.
Morning All
Max being the font of all knowledge regarding UFO when and what are the next updates we are due Bud.
Thanks
