Silver flying this week. Expect the positive sentiment to finally transpire in our SP increasing
HH you make a good point to be fair but the silver chart looks to be quite bullish. Just putting it out there im no chartist but by looking at it on a monthly on 1,2 and 3 year averages. Bounced of 3 year average flew past 2 year and now about to break one year. Perhaps I'm wrong and my charts are terrible in that case I apologise,

have to admit HH, although I do enjoy reading your posts, they are beginning to sound quite negative, I'm all for an impartial viewpoint but it's starting to feel like you only appear to tire kick the SP, which you are well within your rights to do and different viewpoints lead to healthy debate. But I can't help wondering why you never seem to post anything positive about a company you are invested in.
I wish you would stop posting as you are clearly not invested hh
Yes, this looks like Mms allowed this to move on.
1p by the end of next week I hope
@Paul Q - I hope this is the start of great things, however folk on this board routinely predict every small move as the start of a new trend driven by improving sentiment, but they haven't much of a history of success despite their confident claims.
I don't know what glasses allow you to see in to the future, but to reliably call something a true change in sentiment you need to look back on many months of past data to prove it. Without that we are all just guessing whether or not this may be a long awaited change or just a normal fluctuation. It's easy to get distracted by hourly, daily or even weekly price charts. Monthly and annual charts are where you can see more meaningful trends. Regardless I'll continue to patiently hold as I do believe current prices for both silver and UFO offer good value based upon their potential.
Happy haddock why you always gotta put a downer on things.. this is the start of great things if you can't see that the change in sentiment is here for PMs and UFO then you need glasses
In terms of the ratio.. i think we are at about 75.. and falling .. this is usual in Metals Bull markets as Silver tend to get more expensive in relation to Gold.. you would say that Gold is an "old plodder" and Silver the mad younger brother.. as all metals drop in a bear market.. Silver will tend to do worse.. much faster as its just so volatile..
if you look at the 2020 drop.. it went as far as 125 !! Silver got smashed to bits, while gold dropped less violently
Nice to see a bit of a rise in silver prices these last few days, but for the time being we are still well within the $22 - $28 range per ounce we've been trapped in for the best part of 18months. As such we probably can't call this as any kind of exciting break until things are actually much higher.
Silver has had too many false dawns for me to call this as more than typical volatility, but us silver bugs can live in hope.
Gold / Silver are now undoubtedly on the up.. Gold is close to a downtrend brekout on the daily.. Silver will test the $25.40 level soon by the looks..
While you can never be sure about the reasons.. I think both inflation and Putin's nonsense are at least two good reasons.. Imagine being a bond investor !! we will guarantee a rate of minus 3-5% PA if they just shift 1% of the bond market into PM's then its going to blow big time..
Hi Lyndon
I must confess I dont know a lot about the ratio between Gold and silver other than supposedly Silver should get a big re-rate
But I think I know a man who does - Normbeef
Sorry rocket I meant
Nope rocker I’ve been watching
Do you think the silver to gold ratios decreasing ???
Just ticked up. Silver investors starting to come back.
How silver is so cheap compared to other metals is just insane!
lol Rocket... i talk to the markets all the time... thats why i come on here and type rubbish all day..
sometimes they listen .. sometimes not... lol
Same for the last 3 days, silver rise before US mkts open.
Ah ok that's good to know.
I'm sat here waving my hands higher each time we get a tick up......just had to have a word with myself lol
We are now through Michael Oliver’s momentum breakout level for silver of $24.40.
He was saying $30 is no longer the momentum target to get through due to where silver has been.
Nope.. lol.. I am a trader during the day so I look at it all the time.. its on the go now... ive got a key resistance at around $25.37 so if it can get through that then we are off to $30...
Am I the only sad one glued to the price of Silver at the moment?
Yep silvers broken out again today.. i think Bill is waiting until Silver is $50 before giving us the results... zzzzz
Looking forward to receiving the silver assays from the highest-grade silver mine in Australian Elizabeth Hill which is about to reopen.
Plus Mexico silver permits which are next to Endeavour Silver & Fresnillo!
UFO is the best junior silver play on LSE and gives you maximum leverage on silver on LSE.
Also looking forward to silver hitting and surpassing its previous ATH of $50.
