Up the boro and get a parmo in ya ;)
Weather's pretty mental, walking to work and I was being stopped in my tracks by it. I'm 6ft 2" and go cycling a lot so I take some stopping lol. Gotta go back to work inna bit so forgive the rant but I'm pretty steaming mad but gotta stay professional.
Do the place a favour by not going cycling with mates and doing a full day so head chef can work the bar due to staff shortage. Come into work and despite me having explained to management that now I'm teamleader my foot is coming down on this notion food service starts whenever front of house decide; they have made the old timer, that should really retire but won't, start service half an hour early.
We've been battered all day, having to prep stuff on the go, running up and down the stairs to walk in fridge freezers and dry stores cos no stocking up was done, I nearly fell over on oil on floor cos old timer rushing (I blame the gaffers for making him flap, not him) and I've already sued them once for falling over on rubbish left on a stairwell.
Now what really get's my goat about this is the disrespect coming from the assistant general manager regarding the fact I told them all straight. Food service starts at 12:00. The AG in question has even had the gall to say I have the worst attitude in the place just before I was promoted (lol) but she had the old timer in a right state and just sat downstairs on the phone while we got battered.
Best part is the kitchen team is always being critised for not getting the kitchen properly set up for service. Now I wonder why that might be.
Annnyway. Just getting that off my chest before I go back and explode on the management. Never wanted a weekend to end faster lol. Role on Monday.
GLA.
@ Slowernsteadier, I’m in Brechin, I went out this morning in my slippers to collect my plant pots that had blown over and my slippers were blown off my feet, one landed in my neighbours garden and the other on the main road, most embarrassing. Concerning SXX, I got in around 2007/08 and sold out in 2012 and did well, but it was a very unfortunate end to it all.
letitbeme, I never post as I can never remember my password but as someone who lost my shirt on SXX and is being blown about (to the moon) by gale force 7-8 in Aberdeen wondered where in the NE you were based. I own around 20 AIM miners but UFO and POW are my big hopes and have been for past two years
Keith Neumeyer said something interesting about small silver producers. Seems they are selling it to Japanese tech & car companies, who get it refined for use there.

Max, only because like everything else it crashed in 2008. Steveiom, spot on. Do the calc. on our DSO even at $108 av., that where the money is. I am also ok with BBG.
I'm very glad Bill is CEO :)
Muni muni doesn't even belong to Alien yet and until all approvals are in place it doesn't. It's not worth a bean until its got a proper JORC compliant valuation so who cares, if the deal fails then no big deal, BBG can focus on generating income rather than spending it. DSO and silver at EH needs getting out of the ground and sold, simple as, then once he has dollar coming in he can go around kicking rocks and drilling holes wherever he wants because we'll have the money to spend.
@5x5Croire, in Sept 2008 Palladium was under $250/oz. Now it's around $2000 more per ounce at = $2,250/oz!!
Why do you think Munni Munni will not attract a JV partner?
And why is it the wrong strategy for Bill to do low cost RAB/Air Core Drilling so that we get better JV terms?
The next RNS updating on Elizabeth Hill could really give the share price a boost....
9 Dec 21 RNS: 'Initial assay results from the most recent drilling programme, which intersected visual silver and nickel and copper sulphide mineralisation, are expected during December 2021'
For all the analysis that gets done, sometimes it is just apparent that the SP drops for no fathomable reason, and rises for no fathomable reason. As a result, one day the forum is pooing itself, the next day we are off to the moon.
It's taken a long time for me to work out that these forums are just like the football boards. Most folk are emotionally involved in their team, a few away supporters turn up to stir things, and it all gets a bit silly.
I think it's just best to wait for RNS output and ignore the noise in between. Certainly if you are a long term holder.
For me today's rise is no different to yesterday's dip. It just happens.
assuming the shares in issue don't change, divide your target mcap (1bil) by the number of shares (3.9bil), and you get the price per share.
amazingly this works for any share.
@normbeef rough guess, not that its ever going to get there but just out of curiosity what the SP be if Mcap was a billion?
Palladium now approaching $2300.....Wow
Platinum near $1050
Munni Munnnnnniiiiiiii........2.2 Moz
Look at our crazy low MCap ???????
Read what Platina reported in 2008 re Munni Munni. Apart from the reported 2004 Jorc, can't find out when it was first discovered. Going nowhere fast without a huge cash injection.
https://www.platinaresources.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/AR2008.pdf
Keep on the DSO.
Lonmin plc (acquired by Sibanye-Stillwater in 2019) has already invested over A$20 in Munni Munni and only withdrew in 2003 since palladium tumbled from $600/oz to $250/oz.
The project is sound & high-grade. Palladium now up 3% today and will keep rising.
Patrick Karim has Platinum at 5500$ oz by 2030

Then add the Green Hydrogen economy demand that the west is aiming for.
Munni Munni has to eventually go into production. All boxes are ticked especially now the whole region has been consolidated to facilitate JV.
Max.. i love your enthusiasm I really do.. but we are comparing Apples with Oranges here .. EUA is Vastly bigger.. possibly 20 / 30 x .. I am not saying that in time UFO might develop Munni into a bigger resource relative to the scale of the area.. but that will take $10's Millions and a long way off from where EUA are..
If UFO even get to $1Billion in Mcap I will buy you bottle of finest champers as I will be a VERY rich man...
@norm, Chalice Mining only has 10Moz of PGM at 1/3 the grade of Munni Munni and they are worth billions.
Plus they have drilled down to 800m where as Munni Munni is only drilled down to 250m and remains open at depth and along strike.
Also the area hasn't been explored with new technology for decades and is massively underexplored.
What is under or around the Cadgerina Dyke, which is interpreted to be the feeder zone of the Munni Munni intrusion?
How much battery metals do we have at the Elizabeth Hill halo (high-grade copper & nickel xrf readings) and other halo areas and around the whole Munni Munni region? PGE tends to have battery metals associated with deposit.
Also can the west now rely on Russia for critical PGMs (which are one of the rarest metals on earth) when they are threatening to sanction them for invading Ukraine?
Also S. Africa experienced instability last summer and is expected to have long strikes this year.
Which other Tier 1 PGM projects the size of Munni Munni have access to infrastructure, power from grid and mining lease in place with no conservation issues?
we hit 3.8p Normbeef before, this can move quick, we just need something of substance to materialise, but i personally have not held for so long if i didnt think it would come good, and i feel we are on the cusp of greatness
Hi Vosgi UFO vs EUA is a David and Goliath story I am in both for transparency.. EUA has access to over 100Moz+ Battery / PGM resources.. UFO is tiny by comparison..
I dont see UFO becoming a large player in the PGMs market in any great scale.. Unless Munni and EH can be scaled to over 5Moz + in the longer term (which i doubt) My hope for this area is that we can eventually farm it out and make a good living from it.. UFO Mcap only need to get to 200M / 300M for this to be worth 5p plus.. that would be a 1000% rise in the SP from todays price
im guessing any news must be the ore or EH result as the pgm munni munni deal is not over the line yet as per rns jan 21,
With mutual consent from both parties, an extension to the settlement date to complete the satisfaction (or waiver) of the conditions precedent to the Agreement has been made. Specifically obtaining necessary regulatory approvals and obtaining all necessary third-party consents and approvals to give effect to the proposed acquisition. This extension will take the final completion date to 11 February 2022.
The Company notes that all internal Due Diligence has been completed to the satisfaction of the Company and hence the regulatory approvals are the outstanding consents to be in a position to complete the Agreement.
it looks like it will get over the line but we are still waiting on the deal regulatory approval, hopefully that gets sorted on feb 11th as per rns 21st Jan,
if its ore or EH news we would get an rns before any presentations as they cant discuss anything material that isnt already in the public domain,
fingers crossed for some good news coming before the presentations
Geopolitics wont go away
US and the west will need to find safe and western source of PGMs for vehicles and other industries
SAfrica and Russia dominate Pd/Pt so Aus is a great new source of PGMs for the US/ western europe
FYI check out EUA vs UFO would be good to get some views on the difference in market cap
Panic over?
This'll be back up as soon as Russian threat calms.
Nato countries calling Pukin's bluff by sending in support ships and weapons. France agrees to sending dinghis and rowing boats. marked 'return to England'
Agree - bodes well for Direct Shipping ore
Fe price $137/t
Han**** cash cost $60/t per the mining study
Say 1mt per annum whats the gross profit (over 10 years)
We need to firm it up though vosgi without a compliant jorc it isn't priced in unfortunately.
Hi smiler - it has a lot
When silver went on a massive run guess what silver stocks went bizerk!
Alien went up multiple times - what other AIM stock has such silver assets ? High grade silver mine in Aus and silver mines in Mexico where they have produced over 1b oz of silver in the same region?
