Regarding Brockman, I have a very good feeling that we will also surpass the target of 233 million tonnes there.
The 9th October mapping & sampling RNS just before the big move up last year stated:
"Initial interpretations are excellent with indications of the presence of a larger amount of the mineralised Brockman Iron Formation than originally thought."
I agree smiller, I see this as a positive move, I'm interested to see how this plays out next year
its becoming more and more clearer than Bill wants to spin this off either as a selloff or a stand alone production company separate to Alien metals which is exploration . I really don't care the mechanism in which he uses to do so . If it speeds up production or a sell I am all for it . Just hope when the time comes he doesn't sell it too cheap and we have a lot more proved , including some brockman . I mean estimates are in Hammersley we looking at ~200Mt . Its a good move overall for me to let the guy we just brought in run the DSO and let Bill focus on EH
Rn tomorrow me thinks or a week tomorrow
Looking good

Interestingly in the interview on 12/11/21 Bill said:
“BHP, Rio, FMG, We know that our big brother neighbours are sort of peering over the fence to see how we are doing and you never know one day they might say actually we would like some of that thanks very much and with the sort of pockets they have they might be complementary to the company and to the investors to move forward along that work stream. We’ll see what the future holds.”
Selling off of a subsidiary doesn't require a shareholder vote
What's there not to like about creating a vehicle to fast track the iron ore projects. Also if they choose to go ahead with the Fenix model after Hanc0ck is "shovel ready" it make raising the required $30M/£22M Capex required (which is tiny in mining) much easier.
Am I the only one who doesn't like this? I got completely shafted at Tils with the Accustem demerger...
Looking forward to an interview from Bill today if he as the time. So much going on, difficult to keep up!
Makes perfect sense if we don't intend to keep the Iron Ore.
@silverhorse - hindsight is always 20:20, I first bought in at 0.1p and looking back I could have sold at x30 bagger when it topped 3p, and then more than quadrupled my holding buying back at 0.7p. However, I bought this as a long term speculative play with a goal of seeing where we could get to by 2025.
If any short term trader had bought in at 0.1p I very much doubt they'd have made it to 3p to sell out for the big profit, they'd likely to be long gone with a quick profit at 0.2p or 0.5p and then be worrying about what price to try get back in at again and if they'd end up with more or less shares than they started with.
There's nothing wrong with trading, just as there's nothing wrong with being a long term value investor. Either way you need to be clear what your own plan is, and not look back. People lose the most through indecision and changing their minds all the time.
From this morning's Hanc0ck announcement: "Commencement of discussions with interested parties in Iron Ore for possible offtake agreements" .
"We remain extremely confident about the prospects for our iron ore projects and look forward to updating the market as we go".
Plus the photos to prove it's not a dream. Aliens, this is our time.
Iron ore back to $100
Hanc0ck 10.4mt @ 60.4% fe DSO
Even $25/t profit generates $250 million.
Each 10mt of additional resource at Hanc0ck would add $250m using just $25/t profit estimate.
Alien working towards increasing the current JORC 10.4MT with plenty cash in the bank.
Hi HH -If only me and you had sold out 1.2p buy back now at the steal price 0.70 - the fact you bought very very low 0.25 you can sit back smile sell ?
Not in itself a dramatic RNS but another reminder the BOD are not just twiddling their thumbs whilst drawing a salary, they are actively working towards a goal.
As has been said sentiment in the sector this year has been poor but the company has moved forward and achieved a lot even if the SP doesn't reflect this. I've not added to my holdings this year given the poor sentiment and sliding SP and would suggest that making short term price forecasts is a fool's errand, but long term we have great potential where I am content to keep holding regardless of short term price action.
Hi Layla, Im no health expert and i dont want to appear flippant but from what ive seen and heard this new variant does not seem any worse than Delta has been (so far) (i cant see how anything new could be any more contagious than the delta Virus that has carried across the entire planet).
Obviously its very difficult and complex subject, but my own view is that we have gone through total lockdown phases of this pandemic, and the world is becoming de-sensatised to the threats, so we just have to adapt to life under continuous variants.
Clearly if a variant was to emerge that is extremely agressive to healthy / younger people, then its all bets off.. grim thought..
For the record I am now Long Nasdaq / Dow / Carbon Futures since yesterdays lows.. My opinion is that the FED not Covid was the catalyst for the drop yesterday. I am betting that a breakout today means the Santa rally is almost upon us..
Norm,
I wonder if reaction to the latest covid scare is becoming somewhat muted, as it's starting to appear that the new variant may have a reduced mortality rate?
All good news for the wider market.
Sorry forgot to add.. in my opinion the sentiment in the wider market has not really impacted UFO directly so far. The SP clearly fell lately because of a dilutive capital raise.
To be honest we have faired a lot better than I thought we would on this latest Covid news, I feared the worst but hoped to be buying more shares back down 0.5p or lower.
The RNS today and the pending RNS for EH will round off a very productive year for UFO, the SP will follow when the time is right. As I have said many times before my value here is 5% in the ground making UFO worth approx 1.2 by rough calcs. sooner or later the market will wake up to the mining sector again, i dont care which as im not selling only adding more when the opportunity arises.
I post on this board because I find parts of it factual and informative, not for investment advice, please don't worry yourself about my financial situation, I'm doing well, but thanks for your concern.
Hi Chris2.. please explain what the wider market and sentiment has said about UFO please ?
Nothing wrong with todays RNS, progress towards the goals of the company. It might not make the share price jump today or tomorrow or even this month. Fair to say that most of us arent here because we are interested in Bitcoin or Covid stocks.
This has been one of my long term "sleeper shares". Interesting to see the differing views of this rns. From a personal stance it would be nice to see the nearer term value that income generation will add to the company.
Parkboy38. You would be much richer if you watched and listened to the wider market and sentiment than listening to those wishing to ramp on a daily basis.
Lets get back to 0.85 placing price (first stop).
Wow, chris speaks for the whole market now, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to keep us updated as to what the market thinks about UFO.
This is excellent news.
Company obviously knows the size and scale of potential resource from both Hanc0ck and Brockman to create a separate stand alone entity.
Yes. Spin off or JV with our deep pocket neighbours RIO / BHP. Its coming....
