What’s needed is something to bring confidence back to this Company all the latest news and 19 trades yesterday shows no volume. The SP is never going to move with so little trades we need something that’s going to make people want to invest in over 2 years of being here the last 8 months have been painful and Sometime sooner or later there will be warrants issued. Sorry for being negative it’s just painful.

HH no they dont, go on son with your subtle deramping, just for the newbies, be aware of the glass empty character that tries to argue its realistic, its rubbish
@Dip666 - as well as moving our iron ore resource up the catagories, perhaps more importantly is moving it from resource to reserve.
Hopefully with near surface DSO there will be a good correlation, but it would be foolish to assume 100% conversion.
We also need to conduct Diamond drilling and enough drilling density to recategorise the resource estimate to indicated as we move along and eventually measured to help attract investment and perhaps JV interest as inferred is the lowest category, it isn't just about increasing the inferred resource - especially if we want to go into production ourselves.
Another factor is that not many in the sector are doing well, asset prices for our Oz assets not so great at present and some are seeing these price levels for a while. I don't think listing on ASX or TSX would do much either, just need to be patient as UFO proves up the assets and hopefully asset price outlooks and sector sentiment drive investors back into juniors.
@picuzawinnah - That our share price should arguably worth a lot more isn't the issue in my mind, but it all comes down to sentiment, both wider sentiment and also specific to UFO. With sentiment the way it is with news largely being ignored it isn't all that surprising to see the share price where it is.
Whilst central banks are propping up mainstream markets to the point of almost guaranteeing big profits most investors have no incentive to look further afield and take bigger risks or consider safe heaven investments and commodities. Yet the need for safe haven investments that will survive a crisis becomes all the more important as those central bank interventions make the whole system less and less stable.
So for many months the majority of the junior exploration sector has been feeling like a value trap. That feeling has been exaggerated with UFO after its crazy spike to 3p with few now looking our way, and those that are looking are all focusing on how far down it has fallen and getting bored waiting for others to start buying the price back up again. Plus, for all the big drop, UFO is still multiples of what it was even 12 or 18 months ago so I'm still looking on it as a good company that has proved a good investment for me and which has even more potential to do even better.
Investments in junior explorers always have to be long term to see any meaningful profit, with most reckoning on 5-7 years. In that context having a bad few months, or even a bad year is neither here nor there if the underlying fundamentals keep improving. All that maters is that you are patient enough to still be holding when sentiment does return... If that's 2-3 months from now great, if it's another 6-12months then I'll still be holding.
Surely the value is pr and more private investors in countries that familiar with mining and will hold long term. Surely worth 30 odd k
Hi 5x5
The TSX (Calgary) initial set up costs would be CDN$ 45k (£26k) plus an annual listing fee of CDN$9.4k (£5.46). So a first year cost would be CDN$ 54.4k (£31.5k). Plus whatever professional fees that would be paid to lawyers and accountants. Still cheaper than Australia by a long shot but as I mentioned in my post about the possible listing in Australia:
"What would the benefit to UFO be in seeking such a listing? Would it add true value to the company or just create a froth of speculation?"
Thank you for your time.
Istie
I'm pleased to see others feeling the same as I do; mystified that the SP has not yet responded. Hancook is shaping up to not only deliver what was hoped for, but to exceed it. And with a further 75% yet to explore.
News of JORC anticipated to land very soon.
Then Elizabeth Hill getting tremendous early indications, also due to announce initial sample results.
Then you have Brockman
How the SP isn't already 2-3p just on speculation - that's a mystery to me. An MCAP of £50M right now would feel about right given the scale of the potential.
250mt is top of the range I suspect but yes it could be. I am estimating a mid range of around 100mt. Still it makes it 5x the size of Han****. 20p per share. Then add in EH. Mexico (3 projects) and let's not forget Greenland. I guess the market won't wake up until it has 100% confirmation that the resource is real and workable. The key is to make sure you are well positioned for when that happens. Building when I can.
ASX seems to suspend individual companies share trading more often than other exchanges and has harder conditions of entry. TSX would be a better option.
DRB , yeah brockman could have 250Mt , I don't get why this is not an SP of 4-5p already to be honest. Maybe I am missing something but every time I go to diversify into something else I just feel there is more upside here and should just add more here ha I hope soon though the SP >2 to reward the loyal investors who stuck it out through the spike
What I love about UFO. Han**** is a beast for us. Potentially worth north of 4p per share for us. Brockman will make Han**** look like a pussy cat.
istie thanks for that info on the ASX listing , I personally think the money would be worth it , I think it would make it back very quickly with investments from OZ PI. folk looking for a similar Fenix story with silver upside. Id personally divert all money going to Mexico (sorry Mexico geologist ) and id use it on listing instead. Just my view. Australia is where its happening for us at the moment yet I wonder how many Australians even know we exist
DRB hopefully , I think the dso is a good cash foundation on which to build on , the EH is more exciting and will catch the eyes of new investors/news. But I see the DSO as the workhorse either as a standalone or JV/sell. No matter how good EH is it will be the cash from DSO which will be the reason this company goes from junior to mid.
Smiller, don't forget we only have 90% ish. Iron ore could well be our cash cow.

Encouragingly, the mineralised envelope at Elizabeth Hill is clearly larger than modelled by previous explorers, with this initial drilling demonstrating complex pervasive multi phase mineralisation evident in the wider envelope tested to date. From visual inspection of the core there appears to be some significant mineralisation outside of the historic silver orebody which was what the Company believed to be the case following the recent detailed data review.
Logging and core-cutting has commenced with the first batch of samples due to be dispatched to Perth in the coming days.
Bill Brodie Good, CEO & Technical Director of Alien Metals, commented:
"As we have previously mentioned, the West Pilbara is recognised as a world class mineral province with the potential to discover significant new deposits of nickel, copper, silver and PGMs. We believe the historic Elizabeth Hill silver mine, located between two major intrusive units, is one of the most prospective targets in the region for a possible volcanic massive sulphide type system, along with the PGM potential already identified in the reefs in the tenement and surrounds. While it is early days, we are extremely encouraged by these initial findings and will continue to refine the drilling program to maximise its effectiveness and results."

Bill Brodie Good, CEO & Technical Director of Alien Metals, commented:
"We are really pleased to have delineated in excess of 10Mt of DSO iron ore with our initial MRE at Han****. With only a quarter of the Western Ridges targets tested to date, we believe there is considerable scope to grow the DSO resource over the next 6 months.
"Having a sizeable maiden resource is encouraging; having DSO material with low impurities is even more pleasing and we are pushing ahead on the scoping study work with Mining Plus and continued planning for the Phase 3 drilling programme."
Figure 1 shows the location of the Han**** Project and Table 1 shows the mineral resource statement. The Han**** Project, tenement number E47/3954, is approximately 10 km north of Newman in the prolific iron ore producing Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Silver dont you know? Lol
All my previous winners in this field of explorstion mining have been in Australia / Tasmania.......
....politically safe!
All my loss makers have been in politically
unsound EU and South American projects.
Usually for these reasons.....
Unrest in the countries, protestors, conservationists, licence delays, water and tax levies, death spiral dilutions and long delays in moving equiptment in situ.
I'd invest all my granny's savings into any project in OZ. She wouldn't miss it anyway, forgets where she hides it....?
Mature businesses that make profits they don't know how to use are never viewed well. Unlikely UFO will ever have that problem. A large cheque would be a game changer for exploration going forward and provide a huge boost to the share price.
Hi smiller
REF: Listing on AUSX
Initial assumption for the following is that UFO has a £ mkt cap of £27m converted £0.5316/AUS$1 gives Australian value of AUSD$51m.
The initial fee for listing is AUS$120,755 (£64k)for a company with capital greater than $50m plus an annual fee of $27,222.(£14k).
In addition to those fees the company would have to pay a team of lawyers and accountants to comply with regulatory requirements which I have no knowledge of but I do know they are not cheap.
What would the benefit to UFO be in seeking such a listing? Would it add true value to the company or just create a froth of speculation?
My own view on the issue of whether to list there or not based on the above is that this money would be better invested in commercially verifying and up-scaling to a commercial value the prospects this company has in its own portfolio rather than spent along with money on PR. It may not do any harm but what good would it do?
All the best
Istie
Depends what he does with it. Assuming the market agrees then all should be funtastic
I recall Glaxo SP took a dive years ago when they said they had x billions in reserves but the markets didn’t like it as they had expected them to put it to better use. You can’t please all the people all the time!
Do we all agree when bill`s gets the big chegue massive spike?
20Mt , = 160million not bad ill take that cheque
Thanks AWP. I see there are at least 2 additional areas ringed in red and marked as high priority. Watch this space. TP had a range of 5-15mt for Han**** but that was just Sirius. I hope for at least 20mt. Once we get this shored up we would be looking at £140m mcap just on Han****. Based on TP model £8 per tonne.
