Sorry, not a fan of Facebook or twitter let alone using it.
Could only find this, its sort of Facebook come log for his followers, so I assume you can chat. Seems to be 1-9 on the time travel with turbidites and a glossary of bits on TXP.

Xavier may send a better link than me, please.
Corpse, thank you, I look forward to it.
Apologies, I have been off the thread for a few days, busy with a couple of takeovers and a big funding.
When are we going, I don't care about having to isolate when we get back - I will stock up with food and fags before we go.
When are we going? SOOOOONNNN!!!!! I hope.
Trust me, l had to go through is lecture numerous times and make notes. Only the real deal could explain the details beyond the lecture. Even at rudimentary level it goes over my head. I will try to put a link on suggested reading material nothing was found on first search on google.l believe the title came up on YouTube. I think l have alot more research even to have a reasonable conversation. At the moment it's Einstein talking to the village idiot, but no so bumb not to be here. Better leave these postsalone as work to do, but do drop in very often.
Sorry if my question was a little sensitive but it was more of a test to establish his identity. It was a past tense question about COS and he blanked it.
Dana l will make sure you need alot of doh but in case you do, will we get freebies to Trinidad as a investor freebie lunch.
No one ever mentioned the other blocks so you guys just doubled your money on future explorations.
I thought the questions could have been less sensitive in nature. But when I first invested here what made the greatest impression was the clarity and determination of team keen to explore a theory and add shareholder value. I just think we had the icing on the cake l
Yesterday, still stunned. This has put a different perspective on things.
Sorry 11,5% - my head is not awake yet..
My answer to that would be the same as rabblrouz - Not by a long shot. They startet the exploration program in August 2019 and are on their 3rd drill now. After Deep and Royston they have approx 21 other exploration targets on Ortoire, not counting in numbers of development wells. So if you take a total of 26 exploration wells they are now 8,6% into the drilling program...
Xav, I think that we all know that the answer to the question as to whether we have reached the full potential is a resounding NO! and that hitherto we have probably reached about 10% and that the Chinook 1 drill could add another 10%.
Moving ahead, Cascadura Deep another 10% then Royston 25%.
I t would be a shame for shareholders for the company to be sold at this juncture, but if I can get the money together, there is a serious risk!
h
Not yet.... and not by a long shot. would be my response.
I am not in the " Let's Sell this " camp so very soon obviously.
Interesting question...i'll answer with a question - do you thibk TXP has realized the true potential of Ortoire and its other blocks on the island?
Faz - play nice and don't ask the gentleman a question he can't answer.
Xav - we really appreciate you looking in on us here, and sharing your extensive knowledge. I am impressed with what has been achieved thus far, and the whole TXP team has my full support. I am sure that sentiment is shared by the vast majority of shareholders.
Xav - when are we going to sell the company and make some serious coin lol
Thank you for the reply and correction to my misunderstanding.l will certainly follow time travelling with turbidites. If one day in the future say when Corvid is dead PB could do investor presentation in Trinidad and you a formal geology presentation with a run around the island. If the wall of cash comes in then some of can attend.
I am grateful to your postings here and fingers crossed for the future and the work out in by all. Stay safe.
Thanks, yes of course, if we as individuals or companies do not learn from mistakes then we are not trying to improve. Subsurface is always extracting information from drilling from testing, personal accounts even to constantly refine our models. I worked as a mudlogger on Talisman's exploration wells onshore Trinidad (just north of Ortoire Block). And literally ecerything that could have gone wrong on those wells, went wrong...and I learnt a lot. I hope Talisman did too..
The Northern or Caroni Basin in Trinidad was at a shallow water or shelfal setting while the Herreras were being deposited in Southern Basin. So apart from not having source rock in Northern Basin, there aren't Herrera turbidites there. I believe you may be mixing up the term 'Northern' with the Northern play by BHP in deepwater Trinidad - very different place. This is basically the offshore equivalent of the Central Range of Trinidad. They have discovered about 7Tcf of gas in Pliocene and Late Miocene turbidites.
Turbidites have been sought after for a few decades now but are much much betfer understood now due to extensive field work by academics integrated into great 3D seismic surveys. One only needs to look at the discovery bonanza in Guyana and Suriname to realize that turbidite plays are very much prolific. On Social media i have made a series of posts titled 'time travelling with turbidites' which feature most of the well known turbidites to exist in Trinidad & Tobago. Have a look if you can.
Xav,
New poster from CDA. Are you at liberty to disclose how many of the 52 prospects identified on the Barrackpore Trend are on the 184 sq. kms. Ortoire Block?
Best regards, Toolster1
Xav
Welcome to our chat
This is way over my head also - did Geology at A level and had I not gone into farming this would have been my career
I find what you say fascinating and I understand that a huge part of our investments in TXP is massively linked to your understanding of the Geology
I just want to learn more
Many thanks for your input
GLA
are we gonna be rich then?--sorry--pls ignore..its just the question on most people's tongue.
i am no geologist but on the GiantTurbadite Play Fairways which are being found around the world and probably the same formation in the Northern Basin. In your view is this the next general exploration of hydrocarbons around the world.
Xav!
Zav, while many of us have "butterflies" wondering if our investment decisions are correct, we are apt to forget sometimes that those who build and work in these companies have far more at stake. It is not possible to be right all the time, but I am sure even if Chinook isn't what we all hope for that you will learn from it and refine your models. I hope all your hard work pays off, I am sure will in the end . Wishing you and your family well, as I do for all on this BB. Regards.
Thanks for the welcome folks. And thanks for all your support towards TXP. And yes I'm aware of what I can and cannot say.
Xavier,
Most of your post went sailing way above my head but what is apparent is that this is very challenging geology. That being the case, in your opinion was the company’s COS at 50% realistic?
Gamflin
Hi Xavier,
Nice to have you on the board and very kind of you to answer questions.
Please be careful not to answer anything that would compromise your position at Touchstone though given we are all awaiting news on Chinook.
Thanks
