Hi Corry, thanks I am using super plan on one account and the other on another. They used to give you a linked account with one fee. Wish they’d do that again as no point in linking accounts anymore. Atb

Trek,
I use II as well, which I quite like but mainly through familiarity I think. Some parts like the technical analysis and no RNS alerts I find frustrating and the extra £s for those things I’m not convinced about, yet.
Anyway, I saw your earlier posts and wanted to suggest that if you haven’t looked at it recently there may be savings there for you. I started on the same basic service plan as you:
£9.99pm subscription - £7.99 per trade - 1 free trade pm included as a £7.99 credit.
I then changed to the Super Investor plan:
£19.99pm subscription - £3.99 per trade - £7.99pm credit still applies, i.e. now 2 free trades.
I worked out that as long as I did at least 3 trades pm I was saving on the Super plan. I’ll let you do the maths on your own volumes.
A suggestion only if not already considered, not a recommendation, and I appreciate the Super plan may not be for everyone.
Best wishes
Corry
Just wanted to say Groover, I noticed a few people say that they cant trade in an ISA due to tax reasons. I am trading in an ISA. If I sell a share, the money stays in the pot, and I can buy and sell again and again. (all be it with the issue I first mentioned). Thanks all for the advice.
Highland thanks, i’ll Check them. I am over 300 trades this year! So it all helps.

Mate !!
F00king auto text on this thing is crap. Constantly changes the word as you post. Soz if it does it again Dartron
Ah I wouldn't know Nate as I dont day trade......for now.
Believe in try to keep a year and also selling shares after 12 month holding means no 20% to the taxman.
ii you can buy, sell and buy again instantly with same money. You have an isa and trading account and can trade internationally (isa rules apply). It’s 7.99 a trade and 9.99 per month, there are other options but I think it’s expensive. I know x-o is cheaper but I don’t know if it’s good or how easy it is to swap. I have Mrs Trek’s as well so adds up especially last few weeks my trading cost have been more than previous years!
Hoping for Herrera test results. Thought today was Wednesday! Lol! We don’t usually get RNS on Friday it’s normally Tuesday or Thursday so hoping for next week. Luck to all.

Iwebsharedealing. No set up fee when I joined, £5 per trade. Good Online system. Pretty reliably instant trades, unless there is a market flap on.
My trading is all done in either a Sipp or ISA with A J Bell, I have no complaints, it works great, no delays on fund availability to rebuy after selling etc.
Thanks Groover and Trek. I started with Best invest. Its cheap, but what I dont like is that it is hard to buy and sell in the same day. (which I dont do often, but some times you need to right!). Seems that once you bought the shares, you cant sell them at quote until the next day. You can try and sell them with a limit on the same day. Is this the same on HL?
Trying to get my wife to buy 10k of this stock as think its about to take off again but she always wants it lower than sp is now. Told her she won't see my 11p entry again. Sighhhhhhh
Hi Darton, I’m using interactive investor. The platform and service are great but I would not recommend it unless you have a very big pot or are a very active trader as it’s too expensive. I would change if I could (seems too complex and risky) because they have a monthly fee set up plus trading costs. Fees on web site. ii.co.uk
Likewise I’d be interested if any of the Stoners have a better one or have swapped platforms in the past. While we wait and all that.
Trek
That should read Dartron

I find Hargreaves lansdown very good. Instant credit of your money when adding. Fast share purchases and very secure platform. Also credit your bank account quickly to.
Yes they are not as cheap as others but the more you trade the cheaper it is and what's a couple of £ more in the bigger scheme of things, at least you can buy and sell fast. Also can sit isa etc on your platform. Well worth a look
