Alright I didn't pay for the hi-res. But reached out to a Satellite company to view their available catalogue. As of April 2020 I can see 2 pads roughly where I suggested. I'll see how much it costs to go hi-res...

Agreed and updates to pics months years old.
Yes, the problem is that it doesn't let you show the exact location, just a point nearby!
When we visit, it won't be a problem.
Danax
Access road on right dropping down or south.
Right this is when l look silly or well wrong. You and Dana have the same location, but your Poole Valley Road seems to be the area, under satalite if you go back up the road to the right, there seems to be a new wider access road, very light coloured. It looks to be very used and over a mile long, not measured yet. Trouble is 80% of road covered in cloud. Goggle earth and maps showing same picture, no nothing about satalites. Need fresher clearer pics, that where I am. Have meetings most of the day.
I’ll chuck the coordinates into google earth pro tomorrow moric thanks for that, see how current the pictures are, you used to get a free trial for google earth pro for a couple of months if anyone else is interested in doing the same.
Hey Guys,
I am almost 100% certain the facebook link in this original chain of chats is being misinterpreted. I am not sure why the map shows Balata east as the terminus of the road. The google maps Dana and Homebrew have been commenting on should be the Balata east development, 10 mmbbl pool discovered some time ago.
Here's a really shoddily drawn interpretation of where Cascadura / Chinook / Royston should be.

Cascadura in my view is somewhere around here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/10%C2%B016'36.8%22N+61%C2%B010'47.4%22W/@10.2724815,-61.1806733,976m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x8c3607976350b6c5:0xff082855c639f127!2sTrinidad+and+Tobago!3b1!8m2!3d10.691803!4d-61.222503!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d10.2768758!4d-61.1798435
Chinook around here:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/10%C2%B015'33.8%22N+61%C2%B010'50.3%22W/@10.2580342,-61.1816683,1198m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x8c3607976350b6c5:0xff082855c639f127!2sTrinidad+and+Tobago!3b1!8m2!3d10.691803!4d-61.222503!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d10.2593819!4d-61.1806435
Royston around here:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/10%C2%B014'57.6%22N+61%C2%B006'35.6%22W/@10.249345,-61.1120727,1343m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x8c3607976350b6c5:0xff082855c639f127!2sTrinidad+and+Tobago!3b1!8m2!3d10.691803!4d-61.222503!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d10.2493446!4d-61.1098842
Take the above with a grain of salt. As you can probably tell I don't have shape files for these things. Also bear in mind that generally satellite data is a couple of years old for low population rural forests... No reason for a satellite company to take photos as no one is paying for the image...
That said if someone wants to track down one of the satellite companies and go splits on brand spanking new shots over those areas at high pixel detail, let me know! If it's a couple hundred bucks and we get a few of us in on it I would be tempted. XavMoon, maybe pitch the idea to Paul? It never hurts to show your work from space ;). Bonus points if you get us a night time shot with the flare burning!
Oh gosh, thank you to everyone, l will go through everything to see if and what's there, so not the first on this exploit.
Sorry, wrong paste

I think that this is cascadura, right place, right shape.
https://www.nytimes.com/1979/10/13/archives/carmichael-charles-po****-59-head-of-dutchshell-since-1977-question.html
You can use remote sensing, to detect night flaring if you manage to come up with accurate wgs84 coordinates, envirosat has good enough resolution for the task from memory, however, it’s not cheap, and given that satellites fly north to south, and the location is on the equator, coverage there is not as good as the higher latitudes.
Having had another look at the last presentation I think this is wrong and the well is further west than this, closer to and north of Catshill somewhere
Corpse, I don't know if you found what you were looking for on the map but from what I can tell Cascadura is around here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/10%C2%B017'49.2%22N+61%C2%B003'26.9%22W/@10.2970003,-61.0596577,1065m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m17!1m10!4m9!1m3!2m2!1d-61.0570527!2d10.2973514!1m3!2m2!1d-61.0565588!2d10.2873431!3e0!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d10.2969951!4d-61.0574695 based on this Facebook post back in March: https://www.facebook.com/TouchstoneExploration/photos/a.628702010575548/2534693759976354/ that might help you find Chinook too, 1km is not too far away although there seems to be a lot of jungle around..
