Would let go at 1.50 in a heartbeat bring on the sale. Lots of good companies out there I would be glad to park my money. Sold most of my shares already a month ago and most on this board said I was nuts. Still not selling the rest at these levels but jump at 1.50.
Sounds like the Shell solution is back in pole position?
Now all the need is a pipeline to connect to??

The odd thing with Shell, is that they were in the Guyana blocks at first, and exited before the big discoveries hit as I recall.
Yes, I've been wondering about Shell lately too.
Keep in mind, in recent years, in terms of exploration in the broader region, Shell has seen Exxon gain global headlines with their tremendous success offshore Guyana.
I wouldn't be surprised if some at Shell would like to have a few 'headline grabbers' themselves, ...onshore Trinidad, ...the type of headlines that can come with success at some of TXP's larger prospects.

Just read the afternoon's messages. I'm feeling more confident so will buy a few more next week, hopefully at 110p or less.
I think Shell wants its 55 year old well back. The one they drilled with 700 feet of gas pay. The one they never tested. The one they let go. Now TXP owns the land and the gas. I'm not sure what game, Shell is about to start. Should be a fun summer.
I could have written that myself Trek. We are in a precarious situation although they’ll probably wait for success at Royston.
Don’t know about you guys but I am getting very concerned about the SP now. Not from an investment perspective as I am still topping up when I can but from a T/O pov.
It just seems the negotiations with the Coho offtake between NGC and Shell are being unnecessarily stalled.
Are Shell using it to walk down the SP?
Obviously they know all about the Royston drills and will be reading across to our other successes. Hands up! whilst I was aware Royston was bigger that our current whole I did not know Kraken was bigger than Royston until the interview! Wow!
Not so much neglect on my part, I had only looked up as far as Royston as Kraken and Steelhead were so far off even 18 months ago, I figured we’d have such a cushion by then as a lth it wasn't necessary to DD.
Now all seems to be coming into focus!
It really isn’t unusual for a SP to be walked down often over a period of time before a bid. Chinook and Coho ‘delays’ are now presenting an opportunity on top of any broker support.
There is just so much benefit for Shell to own TXP with size/potential size of discoveries, direct market to sell and much cheaper onshore that will get their overall costs down. They could also sell the ‘smaller’ wells and go for the gas.
It really is a concern because whilst I genuinely believe PB will get us to £10/share Shell won’t!
Usual caveats

150 p is not at all dizzy, we should be past that already today, and have been in the recent past. Any buyout offer would have to be much higher than that.
I'm with you corpse as I bought more this morning. It's interesting that the ask at 113p hasn't moved whilst the the MMs have dropped the bid to 110p.
IMHO the current price is a stonking buy. We should reach the dizzy heights of 150p in the not too distant future!! Even sooner if danawinner puts in a bid for us!! Alternatively Shell may jump at us.
I buy and everybody sells, might as well ask Kermit to trade for me. Long hold anyway.
Been working on convincing a group to buy us out there Danawinner? You were takling about something along those lines earlier.
You do realize that we don’t want to be bought out, don’t you?
In any case, I doubt many will let their shares go for as little as 1.50.
I really hope this isn’t what you are alluding to, but if you mean flagging small threshold positions, bring it on.
Sorry I have been so quiet, all will become clear in due course.....there should be a couple of RNSs in the foreseeable.
I have total confidence in this share, I can see us back to £1.50 within a month or so.
For those of you that believe in my stock choices, my posts may be worth a look.
I think that helium has massive potential.....
