Just stumbled across this stock and cannot believe that it has not a single post. Company is trading at 5.7M M/C on a turnover of 40M. It is profitable and is paying a very healthy dividend on 8.5p (Ex 21/06). In the past it has paid a special divi of 22p releasing cash back to shareholders. The NAV is 166p and is currently trading at 110p. Undiscovered little gem.
Some feel it is now going cheap. http://www.privatepunter.co.uk/Companies/weekly-column-july-1-2014
And looks cheap at a glance so I'm going take a proper look at this soon...
Yes Knigelk, low P/E ratio and large divi make this stock particularly attractice, also diversity and a long track record of profits. I bought on Monday, -wish I'd bought a lot more! Tex Holdings would do themselves a favour if they were to modernise the websites of the various companies within the group. Some look very dated, the product photo's are amateur -poor quality. HArdly the best way to win new business in this competitive age.
I actually got the eps wrong - it is 13.8p with a 4.5p dividend. So the shares are now on a PE of 4-5 and a dividend yield 7.5%. Should be £1 at least imo
+5.6% Market likes the results..
Results Out - NAV 113p Dividend 4.5p EPS 7.7p Yield 8% Orders up.... In today...
research research research, buy low sell high, its an art that needs experiencr and practise, when we start off we all lose, unless you are extremely lucky
Thanks for the advice chaps. I had already bought some in this before I posted and was considering buying some more, but also trying to diversify a little. So much conflicting information some of the time it's hard to make a proper judgement!
of course you are right, depends on how the news is portrayed and recieved by the market
Best advice is to always do your own research...dont buy in on spikes and take everything you read on here with a pinch of salt.
oh i forgot bsp, tomorrow more shares come on the market 37 million i think,so most people would think dilution keep away, but 2 days later they will report a sale of assets of 25m euros, and a bondholder is on it at 35p,todays price 14p
And take a look at THR as well. feasibility study imminent
its always tough to start of with,we all lose a bit to start off with, but we gain knowledge and profit from it,the news i know is immminent and can be protitable is 1 rmp/rrl,immenent oil strike, maybe even tomorrow 2 ldp, waiting on a scoping report within days hope it helps,if not no probs
Really tempted by this....
I have been dabbling but mainly new to it
Are u new to trading mate?
I am hoping so. The fundamentals are strong. Only problem is that its very illiquid, Which may put people off from buying
We expecting this to go up? Bought at 92
88% increase in operating profit !!!
Tex Group sales for the 12 months to 31st December 2011 were £36.8m compared with £33.1m for 2010. The December 2011 year was one of recovery for the Engineering Division which contributed a majority of the increase in turnover. Cost control combined with the additional turnover resulted in the 88% increase in operating profit to £1,600k...
last comment on bb before today was 11th june, guess that says it all, obviously no volume, but if volume happened then a bagger due to your calculations
1.6 million profit - Should atleast me a minimum £10 million market cap which equates to 190 or thereabouts. Problem is that this is not a very liquid stock.
