Hi Levis
The Mug is a great summer pub , watching the sun going down over the Malverns, swallows coming back to roost in the church, and bats flying around your ears and that was inside :))
Hardly ever went in the Halfway Inn but do use the Bull.
By the way I think the White Hart opposite was bought by Tw part of a land deal to build a roundabout on it, but that could be just a rumour
ATB:))
Hi Levi's
Many times it's only just reopened, I probably use the New Inn more but prefer the Rose and Crown on A38
Hi Maninpink
Yes that's the old tin can factory site.
Best area in Worcester is to the North of the City around the Mug House, well it was until Bellway started building. Glad I'm out of there now.
Hi Bamps
Site im working on is Woodland Edge not sure of the other name of the sites we got in Worcester but like I said they are up and running well. Sales still coming in as I ask every time I see the sales staff.
Hi Ben happy to keep taking the work as it comes we’re fortunate compaired to a lot of people atb!
Hi cd
I think all it is, is a reorganisation phase, I don’t know any brickies out of work .
I was speaking to my family, all in Suffolk I’m in Nottingham!
Apparently all the villagers are kicking off down there, all the planning is getting passed and there rural homes and areas, at risk!
I just wonder if the big boys are going to try to use as much green field and hard to get planning areas as much as possible.
Whilst this new law is in place!
They will change it once the economy picks up!
Good luck there’s plenty of work out there.
Cheers Ben
Hi Ben sunny crewe wimps have 2 sites there!
Hi Maninpink
Are you on the Perrywood site in Worcester that's not far from me, it's always so congested around there.
For those that don't know that area it's where most of Britains tin cans were made till moving recently and not far from the Worcester Sauce factory that's not gone to China yet :))
Hi cd
Where are you working
Still very busy on the 4 TW sites we work on..The 2 in Worcester moving well and still selling ..

Hi All
How does lynny know I have a builders bum , I hope she is not stalking me !
:))
Thanks for the support chaps I wasn’t going anywhere not for a poster like lynny and pal who gave us so much knowledge with there couple of posts.
Good luck just bought another batch at 119.5 , I think this could be the level to bounce off
cardelia hi,
Looking at your "3 posts" on the TW board where have you added any constructive and informative dialogue, NONE that I can see. These people you are on about are long term very respected members on this board and most work for Taylor Wimpey and most worked for Taylor Woodrow in the past including myself. So do us a favor and be a little more respectful on this close board.
Thank you :-)
Ben hi,
Love your posts so agree please keep us up to date on the real stuff at ground level. Where would we be without great input from you, Keep em coming Ben.
ATB
Tom :-)))
Hi Ben and Bamps
As Bamps said the input from people like Ben is invaluable to us investors, to get a feeling on what is happening on the ground. A couple of short statements have just put me off psn even more.
Interesting question about when to invest, now given the optimism or wait cos of recession. Don't know the answer, but I don't think recession affects supply / demand much - the market does and they set the price.
BoL
Ben, I like to hear what's happening at ground level, so keep posting please.
:))
Hi Bamps
Only joking , I will act like a proper investor !
How much do you think tw will open tomorrow?
:)))
Hi Ben
Keep in touch don't leave it till Nov though I for one appreciate your posts and all the others as well
ATB:))
Hi Bamps
Sorry if I’ve upset people on here during our discussion,
I will speak to you in November when we get next trading statement!
See you then:))))))
Hi Linny, Cardelia
I've been here sometime now and have held Bryant's,Taylor Woodrow and now TW for 40 years.
The amount of news these house builders have ever given to small shareholders is kept to a minimum. We have at best 2 constructive Updates per year and maybe a broker question and answers.
The amount of detail that these bulletin boards can participate in is limited and even any detail of sites on their web sites is limited.
Every year directors are buying and selling for what ever reason.
If you read between the lines of the banter on this site you can pick details of what is happening in reality. For an example the experts are all reporting a big recession is looming but reading what these lads are saying the workload is still buoyant. Is that the time to buy, I wouldn't like to say but if they start talking about the workload slacking off is that a time to sell.
You need to keep your minds open to everything and not shut things out because it's not what you like or want to hear.
This board has always been very friendly and much better than other boards.
If the banter stops this Board will dry up.
ATB:))
I agree these conversations are more suited to facebook. I hold a significant number of TW shares and come on here to look for constructive and informative dialogue
Hi Bamps21 sorry if I offended you but must say this I am interested in Taylor wimpy shares and thought I might learn something about that. The thing is it reads more like a mother's meeting for bricklayers maybe that's what it should be like hey ho what ever. I will read about shares elsewhere why you get back to your coffee morning. It feels like a private boys are us on here. So good luck things seem to be looking up this morning wish you well.
Hi Linny
It only takes a few words to create an atmosphere and it seems you know them all.
Have a nice day
