Make no mistake the Astrazeneca vaccine announcement in early November will send this through 400p in a heartbeat and on to 500p
Its close to a licence to print money and you can add Saga to that
Yup. Good start. Upped my stake considerably first thing today having initially bought back in at the end of March and topped up throughout. This continues to be a very sound investment.
Night on 30p rise on the week. That'll do nicely
Jet2 starting end of October. And aircraft availability is nothing to do with it
not just the canary islands though :-
up to date .

Airlines in scramble to find planes for holidaymakers to Canary Islands
Industry caught short as government unexpectedly removes islands from quarantine list
“But there’s virtually nobody flying. The reports we’re getting is that it’s only [tour operator] Tui with any availability because they hadn’t cancelled flights....

If people believe these rises on TUI Saga AIG Easyjet etc etc are just from a "good feel" vibe then you wait until Astrazeneca announce end of successful 3rd stage trial start of November
I did say a month ago where I worked and with in conjunction with AZ. Make no mistake the rises will be MASSIVE across all Covid hit stocks that day the news lands or the Monday if its a weekend
Take it from someone in the industry. The small size of the rise so far today just shows the markets lack of understanding of how important the canaries are to tui. (And dtg) its huge.
The business community will for sure want us back but how does the GOVT there view it? Seems a bit strange they would welcome visitors from a country in partial lockdown.
Currently certainly above 314p albeit no surprise with that
Just a matter of time before this breaks 400p again
Like mad they do, brits offer the biggest rate of tourism for the canaries. Can imagine a shed load of bookings were made since 5pm yesterday. Winter bookings will be great for Tui and the rest of the aviation industry who fly to canaries from the UK. Can see a double figure rise today.
Just a thought, do the canaries actually want us Brits there though? With our infection rates?
Just watching Dr Sarah Jarvis on GMB and she's extremely positive describing a myriad of reasons why that the Astrazeneca vaccine is VERY close to the green light
Hope this rises and closes above 314p. That will open up doors for 360p
Yep further surge tomorrow morning coming
Canaries is a huge boost for TUI with half term around the corner. This will open 310-315p on opening bell Friday
Canary Islands back in UK's travel corridors so returning Brits won't need to quarantine
The Canary Islands, the Maldives, Denmark and Mykonos have been added to the travel corridors meaning Brits returning from the country won't need to self-isolate

Good news about the vaccine, doing everything they hoped for. News from Oxford vaccine.
good news in Germany:
GERMANY REMOVES THE CANARY ISLANDS FROM THE BLACK LIST OF TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Any reason for the rise today? :)
