Latest IC seem to be either hedging their bets, or are confused. The same article has it as both a buy and a hold!!!!
Yes above average volume for last week or so, may indicate the low point. Great recent results and turnover upgrades for next couple of years should all help..
Some big buys not nudging price up. Might filter through later and push the price up.
Yes this is a great company. Ive followed it for a while since a visit to one of their sites where they were hiring like mad and expanding operations. I knew theyd bounce back from COVID in good order as they were pressing on throughout most of the pandemic when others were mothballing. Divi up too which is nice for holders.
Excellent full year results posted by TTG. Happy days.
Winners of iot social impact award but no mention anywhere. Surely that's good news?
Cracking news this morning. Pretty decent buys at around 3pm this afternoon moving the SP alone nicely. I will be adding here myself once some funds come in from other investments.
Two large cracking buys recently in. Someone knows something.
“SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
TT Electronics PLC, down 2.9% at 247.50 pence, 12-month range 198.50p-290.00p. Warns on supply chain blockages and guides for profit to be at the bottom end of market expectations. Revenue in the four months to October is 11% higher than the previous year on a constant currency basis and 8% higher on an organic basis. Says order intake continues to "run well ahead" of strongly growing revenue, with book to bill of 140%. As a result, order book is at record levels and provides "excellent visibility" into 2022. "Global supply chain constraints have continued in the second half and in some areas have tightened, principally impacting Power and Connectivity. The increased material and freight costs are being broadly offset by efficiencies and price management and supported by the self-help programme which continues to progress well, and we remain on track to deliver the anticipated run-rate benefits of GBP11 million to GBP12 million in 2023," company says. Guides for annual adjusted operating profit of about GBP35 million, at bottom end of market expectations between GBP35 million and GBP37 million.“
Given the state of the world in general, it’s not all bad!
Well, the market was not too impressed with the recent news - I've formed the impression that Virolens is a non-starter. Pity.
Agreed. I significantly increased my holding on the 10th and have no regrets. Today, anyway..
Following is a summary of research actions on European companies reported by Reuters on Tuesday. Stock entries are in alphabetical order. * TT Electronics Plc : Jefferies raises target price to 320p from 225p * TT Electronics Plc : Jefferies raises to buy from hold
I asked the same question and the type of products these guys manufacture aren't that badly affected but DYOR etc. 4m shares traded today but that the majority were 3 or 4 big trades that needed working through. Absorbed quite well in terms of price recovery but i still managed to add a few cheap :-)
Any ideas how TTG is going to weather the current shortage of semiconductor components? Will it thrive, dive or just survive?
Where did you visit?
New Investor here but Ive visited TT and it was busy as hell and Im guessing (DYOR etc) its only going to get better as time goes by.
Interesting spike up today. I wonder if there is some news to be released soon, but am speculating, of course.
Mind you there is a dividend to expect in the next week or so which is a welcome bonus.
Think it might well be time to top up. No reason for the dip and a lot of potential here!
Don’t stress it…. Share prices rise and fall. In isolation some shares perform well some days and badly on others, but over time investors accumulate shares in differing sectors, geographies and prospect. Todays fall for holders is a blow but for potential owners, opportunity.
There are more “up days” than “down ones” and longer periods of growth than contraction. Today, my wealth was marked down the equivalent of a years salary, but tomorrow, I might recover a month or so or suffer further loss. It is simply an entry in a ledger.
September (for me) is usually one where there is contraction in wealth, October is flat and growth resumes in November with the hope for a Santa Rally but the big gains are often seen in the first quarter of any calendar year
2022 might be different, as could the remainder of 2021.
Wow bit OTT SP correction!
I sold at 280 was just lucky as I needed funds but would be a buyer again once this bounces.
