Agreed Chester
Recapitalisation can come from taking on debt, placing or the more likely in trx case stronger balance sheet from increased trading.
The more closer we get to trading update without any announcements the more likely it is to be the latter.
Hi Shearclass
Through our understanding and re-reading all the current RNS's the consensus is that MidCap will allow TRX to have the repaid £5m end Feb or March once TRX have used their own cash in the bank. The part about recapitalization can be interpreted in few ways but nobody on this board is expecting there to be a cash call except where MidCap back out of their agreement.
All growing companys need finance and Midcap are not the only lenders available especially if manufacturing has increased last quarter as predicted.
Chester.
@ ShearClass
You've posted twice on this board in the last 30 days according to your posting history,
so I'm guessing your interest in TRX is recent.
You are quoting stuff from RNS's that if you had performed more research, you would already know what others thought about the issues you have selected.
I would suggest you read the 2017 / 18 annual reports (which contain a hell of a lot of must know information) and all the RNS's for the last 2 years.
But start here on LSE TRX BB, and a couple of weeks worth of TRX posts before crossing swords with other posters.
Lets hope you are an investor, before anyone wastes time discussing all things TRX with the uninvested.
I post the results of any research I do, always stating the source of information discovered - particularly dates, - so I'm suggesting my posting history might aid your research.
Looking forward to hearing your views when your up to speed.
Mister Shear - don’t buy it then.
Maybe they won’t need funding due to high demand, imagine that kind of RNS :)
Ha, pull the other one JRlomax! From the November RNS;
“The Company estimates that, following the Repayment, it currently has sufficient working capital until at least the end of March 2020. The Board is currently considering the funding requirements, and further announcements will be made at the appropriate time.”
I’d say it’s fairly certain that there will be an equity raise in the next month as they aren’t going to take it to the wire. What price will they raise at? You’re ****ing into the wind if you try and guess IMO.
Since the admission onto AIM in 2010 whats the highest market cap been? have read it was at one point £200m....is this true ,has it been higher?
Shear dumb ass . Read the updated loan agreement from November. Good try but not good enough
Another very interesting read...very interesting and very detailed, old so MOST will have seen it but a must if new here.

“ After all, it would be classic AIM behaviour if this recent rise from 1p is solely to aid the forward selling of placing shares...”
... depends on your time frame and willingness to hold. If there is a placing, doesn’t matter one bit in 2-3 years. Short term pain but growth is driven by product sales and demand here.
Long-term vision and potential market cap is very interesting.
Good article and I enjoyed reading it - so in 2013 as a T/O target the range was $1 billion to $1.5 billion with the SP at 15p since then TRX has came down a long road and the SP is now 15 times less at just over 1p.
Seems like there is Interesting times ahead for this company.
I’m sure that all of you are aware that TRX has to raise $5m equity funding before they can access the second tranche of funding from Midcap?
From June 4th 2019 RNS;
“b) Tranche Two, to be drawn between February and April 2020, contingent upon $5.0 million net equity proceeds and subject to agreed revenue targets for the from dCELL and BioRinse product sales;”
What price will they raise the £4m equity at? This is firmly on my watchlist, but I wouldn’t invest here let alone top up before they conclude this funding & gain access to the second tranche of loan funding. After all, it would be classic AIM behaviour if this recent rise from 1p is solely to aid the forward selling of placing shares...
Thanks for posting, not seen this before but very interesting reading indeed!! Glad I am invested here and looking to top up :)
Cant read this too many times...

18m mkt cap...annual sales around £12-£15m crazy valuation currently..
Should be more like £120m to £180m imo. 16p to 20p is not insurmountable...
Longer term with consistent growth could be much higher.
GL all...
This could be so huge. Great find Parkez. TRX gets a mention which shows how they are certainly considered one of the players in the biosurgery market. They only need a tiny fraction of the 18 billion market cap for us to see this SP go well beyond any estimate people have been talking about. What is the current mkt cap?
TRX can try to assure that the use of Dermapure becomes the Gynaechology industry standard, by licencing the processing of human tissue to interested parties, which will attract upfront and ongoing fees. This will bring the day TRX breaks even MUCH closer by maximising the value of the patents, and I'm starting to wonder why this has not yet happened.
CellRight, which produces industry leading verified osteobiologics for use in orthopaedic, spine and foot and ankle procedures, enhances the healing opportunities of defects caused by trauma and disease.
The signing of a long-term, multi-year distribution agreement with Arthrex Inc., a premier innovator of orthopaedic surgical solutions, takes the value of the $30 Million acquisition to a much higher level.
Arthrex are a very large private company distributing products globaly.
I Watched the last interview with Gareth Jones in December, and towards the end he emphasises that it is the pressure to produce enough product to satisfy demand for bone tissue that is pressing.
That is why I believe TRX is low hanging fruit, and the sooner the sp is much higher the better for us all.
I feel gutted for investors in Woodford's funds, (I thought seriously about investing in one), but can only hope they get an opportunity to reinvest cheaply, but it won't be as cheap as our opportunity.
Lets hope we hear about licensing soon, and hang on to those shares! GLA.
