Do some people here remember this post from Phoebuss….Posted in: ARB Posts: RE: Blood red ....13 Jul 2021 17:23? To all genuine investors, I lost my job today in a pay dispute, so this is my payback for how I've been treated by my employer. I work(ed) for a hedge fund in the City. There's a team of 4 of us who sit across one desk in a serviced office. Our job is to hit this board daily with FUD posts to mislead investors and influence them to sell their shares. Depending on experience we get a base salary plus bonus for every % milestone that comes off the share price We have multiple accounts/identities split into 4 categories of characters we've created:1. The blatant negative shorter who's aim is to create negative subject headings and get them pushed to the top of the chat. 2 & 3. The wingmen who back up no.1 by being negative on the stock but with more substance around why. Phoebuss 4. The concerned holder who sways from being positive about the share to win trust before then losing faith and encouraging others to do the same. Some of our aliases include:1. Mister beck, Dr Long2. 3. Phoebus (myself), jaffas, pearls, 4. Gatti, Muscles12, saby16, atrades, fudegrella30, fireant We did laugh when genuine holders agreed with some of our posts and got bonused on confirmed sell ups such as Xenor and Matt007. I'm not proud of what I've done but willing to blow the whistle to not harm any more people financially. I would encourage all of you to screenshot this post in case they report it and get it taken down but I will try on multiple threads so that it stays here longer. I am sorry.
Instadeth,
"Why don't the large holders top up more substantially at this seemingly discounted price?"
Despite holding rthm(now trmr) for years, Tosca were selling JUST DAYS before the IPO.
Shroders were selling in Aug just before the Q2 results.
Tosca selling just days before the IPO was a red flag. As well as the discounted placing, the sudden change of mind to list, Shroders selling, the huge increase in shares on loan, the Alphonso court case etc.
I've said that I saw them all as questionable events.
Have a look at the short interest. It has trebled since end July, shortly after the IPO.
Short interest went from 118,847 at end of July to 229, 298 at end of Oct to 364,363 mid Nov.
So despite the supposedly strong Q2/H1 & Q3 results, AGM, investor roadshow short interest still increased.

The current sp is still lower than my 844p trade from months ago. My trade was based on my opinion that the sp has a history of rising on bullish comments and falling on events.
The Alphonso Court case is ongoing and the outcome won't be known for months.
Best to trade and not get caught out AGAIN.
Thanks for the response. Yes, i went and had a look and got bored. Holding for now and may top up at some point.
instadeth.... If you haven’t already looked in on the advfm bb, then, for what it is worth, I think you will find that the arguments and conspiracy theories as to ''why is this happening'', have been pretty much thrashed to death over there during the past few days. Health warning...if you don't know it already, the advfm bulletin board can be a bit of a mad house, so be prepared. If however, you wish to visit and look back over the past 3 days (or so) of posts, then use the link provided below. Do take a hard hat with you and keep an open mind.

Allow me to re-word the question. Why don't the large holders top up more substantially at this seemingly discounted price?
If any of the big players were responsible for shorting, by selling, then an RNS would indicate a reduction in their holdings.
From instadeth:
" When a company is shorted, then wouldn't it make sense for the large holders to buy up the shares at the reduced cost, and put the heat on the shorters?".
That would depend on their motives.
They certainly wouldn't do that if they were acting as a cartel and allowing the shorters to force the sp down in the event of one of their members then taking the company private 'on the cheap'.
That is all wild speculation, but why would a high sp help, say Tosca, unless they planned to sell out one fine day, which would, of course, also force the sp down as a consequence and limit their attempts to clear up at a good profit, when there is much more to be gained by other means.
Not if it is the large shareholders that are doing the shorting and they have an agenda.
Apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge, but please allow me to ask a question re shorting. For all you professional traders out there, this will seem overly basic and, you may want to move on. My question is this: When a company is shorted, then wouldn't it make sense for the large holders to buy up the shares at the reduced cost, and put the heat on the shorters? I know it is not as simple as that, but even if they lost out a small amount isn't it better to nip it in the bud to send a signal to the shorters?
