stop the press uk flake 99 shortage
the shortages appear to be an issue over a wide range of industries
try to order a decent amount of cement and see what answer you get
plumbing supplies .... the list goes on
i am hearing steel is tight as well
anyone seeing or hearing about issues???
KBYK - the second para of your 13:08 post struck a chord with me, and no doubt many other, loyal (some would say deluded!) shareholders. You certainly need the patience of a saint to hold this one. However it could and should turn on a sixpence from where it is now, ie still priced to fail.
I’m not as critical of the management as some: I do think they’ve had some bad luck over the last few years. However, I fear the next instalment might be component shortages coming just when orders start to fly. Jinxed, or what?
However, we are getting to the point when, if it doesn’t achieve the long-awaited turnaround this year, it should do the decent thing and extract maximum value for its award-winning technology by seeking, or agreeing to, a merger. We’d have to say goodbye to £3+ a share, but 50p to 100p would be a lot better than where we are now.
At least Microlise appear to still believe in the company, though they can’t be happy about nursing a £0.5m loss so far on their investment…and must have their own ideas as to how to claw that back - to our collective advantage?
And there we have it ...16.5p, suddenly.
That's the problem - you stay here and watch other benefit from the recovery. But the minute you sell it will probably rocket ;o)
They simply have to have a good start to the year - and a good year in general. We have to also hope that the road map out of lockdown isn't reversed in a way that could impact Trakm8 negatively (or provide some excuse). I also agree with dc_2 re the opaqueness around connection numbers.
You may be able to tell, but I'm getting little impatient with Trakm8 now. It's been treading water at these levels for too long now, despite managing to stay afloat (against market expectations / prices), but it needs a lift soon - not in 6-12m - soon. Starting wish I'd pulled out and stuck the money elsewhere for the recovery play and return here when other plays were exhausted. I know, much easier said than done and with the benefit of hindsight, but still, it's frustrating to be languishing here.
a friends son failed and has now had to book a date in september as the first available
then hope for a cancellation

"subject to there not being any further cv19 related lickdowns or sig. component supply issues that cannot be res. quickly
the company is confident that the financial perform. sig improve
just need to see if it does now
it is hard to be positive but hopefully they can have a good start to the year not that long to wait
late june my guess
I hope you are right. To be honest, I get confused by this connection figure. What happened to the 40K units (and further £24K from memory). Did they go live, implying significant loss of devices elsewhere; or did they get halted because of covid (and if so, will they come on-line any time soon).
Does the connected figure also include optimisation? - it does not appear to be necessary to have a tracking device to route plan (upload a CSV file) - yes, an all encompassing solution would also utilise tracking and ePOS.
Finally, what happened about DVS? You would have thought they would have done well in this regard - especially considering they operate varying levels of FORS. I did not see anything in the last TU about this.
I may sound negative - I am not. I have faith in the long term prospects of the company, just bored waiting for some signs of a turn-around (in terms of the market agreeing)
hope everyone having a good weekend
on average 1.7m take their driving test every yr
pass rates is around the 50% mark
as a rough guess i think 2.5m will take their test from may 21 to may 22
so 1.25m will pass
over the 12 weeks or we should understand the impact of this on trakm8. should jw already sees the impact hopefully a decent % we flow to trakm8
trakm8 next update likely june
driving test data available in june
trakm8 quote the test delays cost them 33k connects at hy so fy should have been 70k
therefore potential to add 100k connects by yr end
