That was still over 1.2m shares. All adds to the positive picture going forward. There is also the knowledge that he still has lots more to buy. I wonder if we'll get an update from GS soon. Their last update on 11 May showed them with over 21m shares loaned to shorters.
Odey reduced slightly again yesterday,

Lord Nez, you and me both, then I packing this gambling, I mean investing lark in for good.
Lord Nez, you and me both, hopefully by year end, then I packing this gambling, I mean investing lark in.
This is already a break out @ >63p to my eye - see how she goes.
Let's reach first 70p. Slowly but surely.
Patience will pay off, very good news from AGM and shorters keep reducing, looking positive.
Hold them, they will be over £1 within 12 months.
Well done to those who have posted sensibly in the run up to the AGM, by not making stupid predictions that could not be justified.
Thankyou Harry, I thought I was hearing things again.
Uni,
july 14th for the trading update
84p this week??
Brent @ $75 and rising
POO is up again today & big rise overnight
74.9$ as i type and tullow is down again
I believe Rahul mentioned a trading update in july, nothing on the TLW website.
Did he mention a specific date ?
Hmmmmm ...... really may need to adjust my exit strategy..... :-)
Nothing has spooked anyone. This is standard chart work by market makers.
That was the biggest ODEY reduction in well over a year. All shorts will be gone within 3 weeks from today. During that process you will see a natural growth to £1.20 ish on my maths.
Low volumes, orderly exit of shorts.
Drip in POO
I was thinking £1 as it's half what it was prior to the December 2019 drop. However, I think I'd rather form an informed exit strategy as opposed to my current one based on a thumb suck. I do think there's a possibility for it to go much higher, but it would depend on Kenya, Suriname, the new well production numbers and the price of oil I guess. It's a difficult one .... nice problem to have I suppose and fortunately don't need the funds at the moment, so will just keep on holding and see what happens.
Any reason for the sudden drop, or just a bit of a tree shake? Not in the AGM, so suggests something spooked some investors...
My exit is £1.33 exactly… happy to hold 18-24 months for this to become a reality.
my exit is £1.25 so need it asap.
A new time and number will be released
lol ... I really hope on the day we hit 90p it is at exactly 3pm .... but what happens after that?
Its very easy to get in a muddle/sound clever over different metrics and what they mean. I might for example increase kbpd to 140, but if that increase is as costly as the oil price it doesn't help.
Best to just stick to a straight forward tried and tested approach of judging the share price based on whether it is 3pm or not.
