@Michael
Most of these guys on here need to chill out . They have lost there personalities .
Yes I joined the 'forum' in 2017.
But only started posting in the debate forum today. Ease down. I am all for tullow and have no other issues
thanks NSS, on top of all your points, I have huge confidence in the CEO, same cannot be said for PMO which I also have a stake in, will look to scale out of there and move everything to TLW.
p.s I didn't intend to come across as rude, I do appreciate all the insights you all provide
Hi nopainnogainzz,
Welcome to the forum.
It is nothing to do with how many times you post or what you say to validate your points.
Its when someone comes on here and says they have just found the forum but there memberships shows they joined in 2017.
Fantastically exciting times for Tullow coming up..
Payment landing barrel drill
CMD in November with new strategy and vision.
Potential nearly billion barrel drill soon.
Etc etc etc etc.
Oil to rise....
Good luck in your investments
They dropped all in costs from $40 to $35 a barrel when they shed a third of staff earlier this year.
Then they saved an additional $125m per year (around $5 a barrel) shedding more staff at results time.
Sure they will have H2 redundancy costs but are in a much better place than earlier this year and why banks are supporting them through the RBL.
Compare this to Premier Oil who sat and did nothing.
apparently the amount of times you post on a forum validates your argument. I follow this board attentively every working day and have been doing since May yet do not post purely because anything I say is normally shut down by "OoOoo hE's OnLy GoT 4 PoSTs".
for full disclosure I'm long on TLW with 22.7 average, i disagree with Michaeliz1 and believe we've had the worst of our days.
Oh No No No ...That cannot be true.....He said himself only today......
"I have only just found this forum".........
Busted......Move along....Next please...
welcome micheal member of 2017 but only just found LSE. we welcome you ))
i see another alias has turned up, pretending to be a newbie lol
I have only just found this forum. Hence delay in posting.
I had been looking at Tullow and ITV sp for a while. To be honest it was a gamble to pick Tullow but the news in the days before I bought was very positive so I bought. I have no hidden agenda and I am not being disrespectful here but am enjoying the analysis and discussion
You took a position earlier in the year and havent posted till now......
You bought at a very very low , doesn't everybody.
Your own shares in Tullow but are negative in every post you make.
Im not being rude but I think you might want a chat with yourself.....
Earlier in the year I took £7k at 0.11p and I do not intend to sell. I am not a shorter and want the company to succeed
Michaeliz1 are you invested, waiting to invest or shorting? It's always nice to know someone's angle. I don't want to make an assumption about you before I know where you are coming from. A shorters angle is as valid as anyone else's. I believe there will be another jump when the cash hits the bank. There are loads of investors who are in cash at the moment waiting to come back into Oil at the right time. Tullow is a much better place for their money than it was. The Capital Markets day will be significant for laying out a future road map. If you haven't had a chance to listen to Rahul then I would recommend you do. He is a smart cookie. He is also set to make much more money than most of us (except you Steveo) when this hits 50p. So I wouldn't bet on this going down. It may not jump as dramatically as I would hope but slow cooked shorters are even more delicious than grilled....
Rocklawn your comment is nonsense.
The point that I am making is that the sp will not rise to last year's high until certain conditions are met. Re shorters moving out, conrirmed major oil discovery and massive reduction of debt.
M ... great to have a smart man like you on the team... perhaps thats why FULHAM wont win the league.....
There is potential for Fulham to win the league but they won't. Of course the sp can go up or down obviously. The sp won't move much until there is additional good news. There is no additional good news though.
Michaeliz1 - Thank you for your insight on your 1st post thread.
Tullow went higher than it is currently just on news of the funds arriving . Once 500m is deposited it has potential to go up 9p. Maybe it will, maybe it won't, but the potential is there. I should add that I was invested in TLW in May-July when we topped at 36-37p. The company is is a better place now than they were then, which is why I have returned to this investment. I see no reason why it can't reach those levels (and higher) again in the relatively near future, and certainly in the mid-longer term.
Let's be really honest here. Having the cash in the bank is not going to make the sp go up by 9p.This had already been factored in.
Nice first post lol.
You’re stone is waiting for you to crawl back to.
Shorters have had their day here, Time to go long now.
GL All Holders
The shorters control this share completely and have and will make fortunes from it. No pension funds or institutions will invest until debt is reduced and major oil revenue is confirmed
I guess Slifts point is the Goliathberg-Voltzberg North drill can add to the assets. Its what TLW was good at, so with production cost and output under control, Rahul been brought in to find the optimal path
Have a LTH account average at 32p will hold these, but also have small trading position. Positive these will rise to a pound in the next 2 years, maybe more if oil rises and they clear some of the debt.
With the latest sale, debt repayments are now covered until 2022, but this does mean reduced assets.
GLA
Cash in bank next week and a run towards 30p .... any takers !
