Hereshopin. The particular poster you mention was all over Chamberlin PlC the other day and now nothing.
Nice to see you, Btfath and a few others posting. Seems a long time since Flybye days.

I have not posted for a while but can't resist today given the brutal sp action.
If you are a trader then this lookslike a great entry point for a short term bounce into 50's.... maybe even 60 or 70's
The way market behaved today was as if they have declared bankruptcy lol sane heads will prevail and this will achieve a multiple similar to pmo imho
700 mill for 20 percent of Uganda is in excess of current mkt cap. Nuts
Pokerchips posts are worth reading, unlike the oeuvre of Hereshopeless.
Hereshopin, you post plenty too! What's your point?
Completely 1.41 billion (72%) was wiped off the market cap today. Really the market is volatile at the mo, but I think
many need to read the rns again.
The short squeeze will be violent and extremely fast
Tullows plan has always been to sell a 21.57% and use the proceeds to fund their share of development costs retaining a circa 11% stake. Maybe they sell up for $1b and focus on bringing down debt pile and focusing on Guyana. Lots of possibilities but 40p is nowhere near fair value. Those selling at 40-50p have been robbed imo

I just read that 900m
https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/africa/206688/uganda-deal-falls-apart-for-tullow-pushes-fid-back/
Oh right $900m . was talked about in the FT

" 900m has been mentioned"
by who ?
I thought it was $200m

mcadder, I think it will bounce back up as you say , first thing but then fall again because the recovery story has not yet been written or articulated to the market imv.
Nearly twice the market cap then.
It's pretty clear imo that today's news took the market by surprise and certainly did not justify a 71% drop.
You have to go back to 2000 since the SP was this low. Combination of a knee jerk reaction to the RNS that snowballed throughout the day, stop losses being taken out and perhaps some trying to sell out in the hope of catching the bottom imo.
Not ramping but this has recovery back to at least 55-60p written all over it tomorrow.
900m has been mentioned
Im not in here I m in eco, If tullow can sell its Ugandan stake , how much would that be worth
It is bound to bounce back to 90p range .... priced into worst case scenario like oil price $30 .. will be very surprised if it doesn’t bounce back ! If it’s stay low Take over bid on the way
Reason tlw is valued less than pmo - sentiment - tlw has no ceo or credibility with market!
How the heck can pmo be valued at 170 million more than tullow. Pmo has 1.8 billion less net assets and harsh debt payments terms.
72% drop is beyond madness of the back of that rns
You will be waiting forever son :-)
As well
