Newsflash:
“UnHappy denies rumours she bought into Tullow Oil and shares move upwards after initially falling in early trading.”
Brilliant!
Brad68 I don’t want to pick you up on your spelling but have you not been watching Line of Duty recently. Are you the inside man?
Said Happy Agent Provocateur
LTHs please stop being so backward.
I did not predict 60-70p. I said if Tullow rose into the high 60s or 70s, I would short it again. It's far away from that.
Tullow won't go anywhere until and unless oil raises materially $80+. Decent drilling results are priced in but if they can't arrest production declines, this may still have a long way to fall. The jury is out.
I think Rahul's plan is undeliverable and even the new bond holders have taken on stupid risks with other people's money.
Newbies: let the LTHs holders build castles in the sky. Don't waste your time listening to them. This company is uninvestible.

……and the share price has fallen, good one UnHappy!
Maybe the girl will start buying, oh dear, then we will really tank.
bugger! That means it will now fall as he is wrong normally
UnHappy is now predicting 60 and 70 pence.
What a turncoat Shorter. Either the share is overpriced or not, make up your girlie mind.
RNS reads “The offering is expected to complete on or about 17 May 2021, subject to customary conditions precedent for similar transactions”
Is that definate for next week the refinancing plz?
Happy …when the refinancing is confirmed & completed next week, you will be proven wrong again as the sp will go past 70p. Btw, thanks for admitting that you were wrong on thinking that Rahul will issue equity to dilute our holdings.
With oil above 65, refinancing done, multi-well drilling in progress-hence production increases, being in the Ftse250, debt reduction & a brilliant management team under the leadership of Rahul, well, 100p prediction in the medium term is too conservative imv. I wouldn’t be surprised if we were to test 150p by 22 H2. AIMO atb lth.
i would buy at 20 or 30 this a long hold for me
On the basis that NOBODY really gives a cat's crack what Happy thinks or says why do people insist on humouring him with a response? Is it out of a sense of 'care in the community' or something? The guy is poison and irrelevant. Just ignore it.
That tells me your doomed short is still open, despite telling us otherwise.
Sustained $65+ oil price is good for Tullow, just look at funds exiting short positions recently, they always know the sentiment well before anyone else.
Happy - your view on tullow is almost akin to hatred. Why don't you take your own advice and give the share a 'wide berth'. Perhaps also leave this board and maybe you will be happy
this ever rises into the high 60s or 70s and Brent remains sub-80
I think Tullow remains uninvestible and, in time, Odey and the other shorts will be vindicated and handsomely rewarded. I couldn't be bothered to wait.
I think until the drilling results it's more likely to tread water unless there's a material jump in the oil price e.g. c.$80+ Brent, which I believe is possible into H2 and into 2022.
For all those who were saying 100 or even 70 on refinancing, I hope you treat yourself to some humble pie.
I do recognise that I was wrong about TLW not being to refinance at all. However, the deal achieved is appalling and leaves not even crumbs for equity holders.
If you're a newbie checking in, I strongly suggest you give this share a very wide berth.
