Maybe you should read what the lines actually say, since reading between them is achieving precisely what ?
But great - MM has been spurred into defensive response, so let me head over there to read and amuse myself
Reading between the lines, I guess Donkey is hee-hawing about MM and/or his predecessors?
It seems pretty obvious to me that TG has told us all that he is allowed to, and if any of us had a chat with him all we'd learn is that Covid has stalled TLOU and it's associated groups, along with the rest of the world, and we are waiting for our associates to decide on their actions based on when we might be able to resume work. Deadly embrace to my mind!
So, if MM has spoken to TG then he'd have nothing to report!
I do not believe TG should be handing out company info to individuals unless they are on the major shareholder's list when it could be a mutual exchange of thoughts.
Those of you who think Covid has not stopped the world, need to look at at retail. In the UK , a leader in vaccination percentages, we have pubs and shops with billions of pounds tied up in goods that need to be poured down the drain or moth-balled? No income to pay for the outgoings and to cover the costs of their unsellable inventory.
This is akin to TLOU, if we'd taken a loan 2 years ago at punitive rates of interest to keep Whizzer happy , Tlou would now be doomed!
Repayments would have to come from our development cash, and new placings theoretically for development would partly be to pay off future interest. Would that be popular? That or we go bankrupt and/or hand TLOU to the loan sharks?
I hear that England's next opponents are going to be under strict control (house arrest?) but are being allowed in. How is that normal? And what is Botswana like?
Is it mm’s Twitter group your referring to? He is still plugging away I’m led to believe, every now and then pretending he has the ear of the bod just to keep his followers interested!!! He claims that he speaks with gilby frequently in his chat group!! This is what I’ve been told anyway!
More BS from BS. Let’s try deal with his blether.
On England and football - you need a quality team to win a tournament. If idiots in the media say certain players are really good, well I guess there will be many folks that are happy to latch to that opinion or assessment.
As for working in the Virtual world - the rest of the world is getting on with it. So Bots is so backward or technologically not savvy that they cannot? Give me a break - stop making even pathetic excuses !
Snooze and you lose !!
As for whatever other points Smith raises, actually WGAF. All he does is seek to justify reasons why nothing has largely happened for nigh on 3 years. The man is devoid of business intelligence, and as we all know, posts here mainly to help him get through the endless hours, days and weeks of lockdown.
FFS, Thinking that a CEO would not secure funding because he doesn’t want to pay interest..... Have you ever heard anything so stupid in your business life !!!
DTE what I think you are referencing is activism amongst shareholders. But sadly in Tlou’s case, shareholders are a widely dispersed, disparate bunch of small holders who frankly count for pretty much nothing in the grande scheme.
Sure, there was the BS Twitter group who tried to make out they were the power brokers behind the company. But well... after so many years of basically nothing.... they are either long gone or simply in hibernation until they can pop back and hopefully say We Told You So All Along.
But sadly I am beginning to doubt that myself. Certainly the multi bag we all probably hoped for and thought is no longer a credible possibility - but no doubt MM will keep plugging away with his unique style ....
I think folks here just need to ask themselves one simple question - where do they see Tlou Energy positioned in 2+years time?
If the answer is Very Well Advanced, then stay the course.
If the answer is something different, then you need to have a conversation with yourself ......
Judging by the lack of posts on here, I'd say the vast majority are accepting that the bod are doing all they can. Do we even know whether the ones in Brisbane attend the office or work from home?
In their virtual world it is only a difference in which fibre they use to connect to the internet.
Mason Mount could not play for England tonight , yet TLOU are expected to carry on as everything in the world is rosy.
Are the BG working from home or from their offices?
Are our contractors working from home or from their depots?
And how about you Whizzer, are you working from home, do you still have a job? etc etc etc.
You know as well as the rest of us, that it is not going to be a slow recovery when it happens! You know the price is going to use VTO as soon as this company looks like getting anywhere near normal working - and getting back in at a decent price may not be possible.
And where will that news originate? The choice is long. Solar, Orapa, Hydrogen, CBM PPA, CBA funding, news of a third party wanting to buy us out, England winning the Euros - you saying something positive. Aliko coming out of the closet is fanciful , due diligence must be getting near the end by some of the interested parties! I'd love it be to Aliko but whoever it is one word that is positive will be game changer if it Yes!
His impatience is telling him the BOD are a bunch of liars and yet he stays here complaining whilst the value of his investment declines every day. The only reason he stays invested is because his gut tells him that one day this will deliver to its shareholders.
I did post that appi, that it’s a bit of fomo if I’m honest, the bod can’t keep on fobbing us all off with ****e excuses as to why we have made no progress, people aren’t falling for it anymore IMO, there is definitely a growing discontent with the lack of progress and the lack of information available to us after all this time! If we go another quarter without major news or progress then gilby has some big questions to answer, shareholders need to put him under pressure as at the end of the day he is supposed to work for us, to add value for us, but he is failing at everything he tries to do!!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
I've never understood the notion of being locked in. I've taken big hits on stocks when I've lost faith because I believe no matter how little is left it can still work better for me elsewhere. What you're really talking about is FOMO. If your gut is telling you something - go with it. Have to say I'm starting to get a bit of indigestion here too, but still have enough belief to keep me in a while longer - my patience is being sorely tested though.
I’m locked in I’m afraid and I will not take the loss, so am stuck and that’s my decision but it doesn’t mean I have to be happy with the way things are going!!
If you don't believe a word of it, why are you still a holder? With that level of scepticism, surely it's about time asked yourself that question or are you suffering with some kind of Stockholm Syndrome? If I didn't believe a word of it, I would have sold up a left a long time ago.
Personally, I'm convinced everything will start falling into place once the 10MW PPA is awarded and nothing much will happen until then. If we get anything from the Orapa tender, that will be a bonus.
Do you believe that the company are in talks with multiple parties regarding funding? I don’t believe a word of it, 16/18 months ago we were told that we were tantalisingly close but if that were true it would have been done by now, even if they hit a snag or 2 it shouldn’t take this long to sort out!!!
I think they have only ever had 1 option in mind regarding funding and are totally oblivious to what shareholders want!
Almost at the end of q2 and still not a single sign of progress, how is gilby going to spin this ship show in the quarterly results? More of its going to happen soon or in the near term rubbish!
I suspect that the 'pivot to hydrogen' has been encouraged by the Bots Government. Five years from now the energy landscape will be different from today and the global appetite for securing Hydrogen from southern Africa could be enormous.
'In an interview, following the project inception meeting recently, head of energy and green hydrogen technologies division at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Dr Christoph Roevekamp said the project would augment the bridge between SADC, ECOWAS and Germany, and further strengthen multi-lateral cooperation towards sustainable development.
He noted that sustainable production of hydrogen could not be attained by one country, hence the need for global partnerships. Dr Roevekamp noted that hydrogen was the most important and fundamental future economic recovery package as highlighted in the European Green Deal.
"As the oil of the future, Green Hydrogen is a big game-changer in the energy market," he added.'

How can this be?
No PPA and no funding;
Last fund raise was pitched as necessary to start work on critical path long lead transmission line program of work - was that mis-selling or misrepresentation;
Previous pivot from gas to solar but yet nothing much done to progress solar (no matter why power you generate, you need to evacuate it to the market, doh);
Recent pivot to include Hydrogen, an evolving technology and no readily available market in Botswana (does Tlou plan to be a market leader ...);
All this adds up to 600m shares issued to get the company ..... exactly where ?
Management credibility is basically on the line now - rest of this year will determine if it is lights out or, at best, there is a plan to get operations moving towards revenues in 2-3 years time. With profits how many more years after that.
