True MM. I took another 25000 for £1031 after the first 1k. 10 mins ago I tried 2k then 1500 then 1K to no avail.
Reading the runes.
No trouble lobbing 300k and 400ks this morning, but try and buy a dozen or so £1k clips this afternoon and WHOOSH - no prices.
Just wait until the end of the week. Very clear now that loads of accounts are on the sidelines waiting for that hard news.
Just got a grands worth lol 4.07
Not even a grands worth
Cant buy diddlysquat.
I understand media and potentially news on an interim PPA solution.
Cheers MM. Hope he's preparing good news lol.
Hi JustScott - from the company's own Investor Relations.
Any evidence that Tony is in Botswana preparing further news MinorMiner? Or is it just a rumour?
MinorMiner - interesting that he's in Botswana now. Thanks.
Quite so damo72. The update is for Q4 and retrospective.
I understand that our Chairman Tony Gilby is in Botswana even now and preparing further news on the week.
Brad - TLOU have said any number of times that flow exceeds the initially reported 20Mcfd and that today, when reporting under very tight ASX regulatory conditions, announced '...periodic short-term rates observed which have been much higher than those initially announced.'
There has no no change to commercial threshold in any company statement - zero, zip, nowhere, nothing, nada.
Let's all remember that this was not an update RNS but a Q4 2019 summary. Anything new would have been told to us in Q4 2019.
Reading MM, I guess TLOU are changing the threshold for commercial rates.
I am unclear if we were targetting 2M or 10Mw , and therefore whether the interim PPA is looking at less than 2Mw or less than 10Mw? Below 2Mw would be terrible but if it is below 10Mw then not to bad at all. It would support the view that rates are higher than 20 mcfd after all.
Silence suggests the news would be poor but one man's poor is another man's rich?
NoEasy. Immediately?? Lmao...I would say another 3-4 months at least, rem its Botswana we’re talking about here!
Chucky it took 3-4 months drilling the last core-holes, then 1-2 more for testing and results.
Current core-hole drilling is 4 months. Even if they only took 2 samples due to time and money rather than 3 samples we have or own core testing facility onsite! “Tlou already has its own desorption testing facilities onsite which allows the Company to test core-hole samples without the requirement to mobilise third party personnel”.
Tlou could be testing as we speak? I hope so but why the silence?
A very good point NoEasy.
A very likely (100%!!) that TLOU do have commercial rates as they wouldn't even attempt an interim PPA unless they did.
There was something new in the RNS;
'To prevent further delays and allow Tlou to secure finance, the Company has requested an initial (or interim) PPA so that development of the Lesedi CBM gas-to-power project can commence sooner rather than later. This initial PPA could then be superseded by the final PPA once the MMGE has completed its assessment and negotiation.'
Good management as this will allow both the PPA and finance to be signed off immediately if, as expected, those flow rates reach commercial levels. This move also confirms the companies belief that at this time a commercial outcome is on the cards.
i dont think its even legal to withhold such information from investors. doubt it
Mamba core drilling would have been finished ages ago as it was started in Sept. So either Tlou haven't got results yet and could drop any day or the results are not good hence the silence on it...
nothing new in this rns. the only negative i see is they have stopped the mamba drilling i assume as it was not int the forward plan anymore so i assume it might take longer here
