Raaydaar i was thinking about thatt same situation this morning thy would have to have very deep pockets
The shorts will have to close prior to the demerger otherwise anyone with an open short position will find themselves having to give back the borrowed shares and also give the lender equivalent Accustem shares in order that the lender is in the same position they would have been had they not leant out the shares. Anyone holding an open short position at 7am on 30th October could well find themselves in the very difficult position of owing someone TILS shares and an equivalent amount of Accustem shares which as we know wont be available for up to 2 months. Wouldnt envy anyone it that position!! I believe we will see a rally tomorrow onwards up until close of business on 27th as the short positions will close and new investors come on board or current holders add to their positions
Letsbecool i know that and is why i am saying there has to be a rise when returned. I dont like the way shorting is done and the way it can harm companies just doesnt sit right with me.
Afternoon all, Looking forward to getting the accustem shares. One thing about this bod is that they have done it before with new companies.. look at okyo... I think we can expect big things from accustem in 12-18 months. Also some may be a little worried about a retrace here (which will probably happen but minimal at this level), but I think accustem will go opposite way. I saw a nasdaq company recently that demerged, parent company lost 30% but slowly recovered. The new co gained about 40-50%. Saw it on biggest risers nasdaq one night. Trying to remember the name... i think tils will recover quickly as lots of rns’ lined up. We should all be very happy in 4 weeks iA (god willing).
Surely this is a perfect share to short. They are demerging part of the company, so there is a high expectation that the share price of Tils Will drop after the demerger. The value is that we are getting shares in the new company that should rise, and I believe, on news, Tils will rise way past where it is now, but there is going to be an initial drop until that news is released.
Swerve, The shorting of share's is made even worse when the very share's that we own are loaned out and used against us.
I dont disagree that them shares will have to be returned.....they are just leaving it a bit last minute???
Been looking at the Fintel site. You’d be hard pressed to find anything that isn’t shorted at 10-20% levels. Some context, even google has had 12-15% shorts running against it. Think volume is the enemy and therefore easy to manipulate.
Swerve agreed,
they have to gIve them back and they are quickly running out of time.
Given how heavily this has been shorted i see no reason why this wont hit £2 when they return all those shares. That alone tells me there will be a rise.
Its obvious it’s bouncing off the trend line(support) and the trend is up aimvho
Not convinced that there will be a rise into demerger...I assumed that shorts would be closed...but no evidence of this happening with a further 17% last night. I am loaded...got my accustem shares booked in. Nasdaq doesn't look like they are interested maybe buys will come in after demerger. Maybe expecting a lower entry after demerger. Still 3 days to go.
As shareholder's you will own exactly same post split as now, maybe people realise it won't necessarily create a big jump up.
Teeside pete where is this rise you are talking about that we are having. Its down about 17 points and thats just from yesterdays partial rise and we have been down most days for over a month
why bring animals into the conversation Pete ;o-)
This rise up to the demerger reminds me of a time when I was seeing a bird who I really didn’t fancy.
Limp and difficult to sustain
Another £2k less fees added At 168p on the nose.
Good luck me.
ah the gathering of shares before the steep rise
Mm's giving us a good kicking from this side of the pond now.
Thank you,
Dg. As I understand things you wont be able to trade openly the Accustem shares until 'late' 2020 when the IPO takes place. Initially the value of Acc will be £3m (the transfer figure) equating to about 16p/shre. The market value of the shares will be established at or around the IPO. They also intend to list on Nasdaq but that is unlikely until next year. Only 8 days to go before we have our Accustem shares.
Good morning. Could someone explain to myself how the SP will be calculated for the accustem spin off? Many thanks.
Morning all
When a management team executes, stock ascends, and the position becomes a larger % of your portfolio, it has earned that right.
A useful quote that as Tils appears to fit that narrative pretty well bearing in mind It was only 27p back in February and yet the journey has hardly started with so many strands still all in play...
We have the Brazil trials about to commence soon with the crown jewel Foralumab perfectly poised to be a potential world beater , at a time when the world is absolutely desperate for a solution to Not only covid ..but a whole plethora of medical conditions that this drug and others in the stable can hopefully satisfy .
We have a BOD that have consistently delivered In maximising share holder value , We are cashed up in the bank ,We have 5 NDA’s with big Pharmas in tow , a main market listing in the U.K. is imminent , a top US analyst has us valued at over £4 and in just 8 /9 days time u will receive a 1 for 1 share in Accustem which irrespective of its valuation right now ,is Undoubtedly going to be worth a lot of money at some point soon ...it has to be with its performance levels in a market screaming out for that type of product and with that level of accuracy and quality
Bottom line is if ur in this share by month end u know u will be getting a 1-1 share in Acc that at some point will be worth top dollar ..not only that but Tils itself has multiple shots on goal to significantly increase its value ...Short and longer term
As such I’m not sure why anyone would be selling their shares b4 hand and conversely why wouldn’t people want in given what’s on offer ??
It’s .. a total no brainer but that’s just my take on it anyway more importantly keep well and stay safe GLA
