Thanks again SK - helpful to know that as I was thinking about whether to buy any dips on NASDAQ instead next week.
Toine, Check
Bmo3 post from earlier today. She clarified. All the best
Yes Legal thats correct. I was confused too earlier but some of the others posters clarified.
Thanks SK - so effectively any buying that is done on NASDAQ next week does not entitle the buyer to the seller's Accustem ADRs? In the UK the position was different today (see the RNS for the UK) which is why I was unsure!
Legalwolf.. it is over in the usa too. Ther cut of was 28/10. They just have to hold until 06/11. GLA
Sorry, ignore the repetition at the end. Pressed send without checking!
Asher - yes we have our 'free' shares , but there is a more fundamental issue here. IF the US has the opportunity to get free shares next week because they have a different timetable to us, that is grossly distorted/unfair don't you think? It means, for example, the US gets to watch what impact the demerger will have on the share price in London, and then decide what they want to do in the run up to their own Record Date and ex dividend date. This could be a reason why there has not been the expected interest in the free shares in the US as yet? The smart decision for US investors would be to wait to see how it plays out here on Monday, and then decide what to do? I can't imagine the BOD would allow such a situation to arise, but if they have (even inadvertently), i'm afraid that's the most fundamental of all the criticisms that might be made about how this has been handled. I have read the RNS for the US timetable, more than once, and it is still unclear to me when their deadline is/was. My mind would certainly be put at ease if someone is able to confirm that the demerger is now done and dusted in the US and the UK.
So, my mind would be put at ease if someone could confirm that this is not the case, and that the demerger is done and dusted in the US as well as in the UK.
This might explain why the y
Well we have our free shares,I’m happy to see how this pans out And just a question of if we actually get to trade the stem shares.
Made me laugh pi’s were actually going to slice and lose their entitlement wow.
It’s obviously caught a few out but I think the good dr will start to open the flood gates with news now.
Ps gla patience will reward you here handsomely imo .
Has anybody managed to figure out/understand the RNS for the demerger timetable in the US? It gives a Record Date of 6 November and an ex entitlement date as tbc. So when was, or is, the last date to buy into Accustem on NASDAQ.
Surely, it's now concluded on both markets?
