The way this BoD play the game, I wouldn't want to be out of this stock for 5 minutes - any news could hit at any time! And they have shown literally today, that you have to be very careful how you interpret their statements.
"sold some at 291 and the rest at 268.5". Lol
I guess you didnt hold that many NK as there was only a handful of shares sold at 291p on Friday.
It was always going to drop to £2.20 as I said earlier, then possibly drift a little this week if there isn’t yet another RNS.
Those that hold at much lower prices can rest easy in bed knowing at worst they have just dropped a little profits for a short amount of time.
He asked the question so I explained my strategy. Yes, being out of a share overnight means you could always end up missing out on some great gains. But each to their own. I'm pretty sure I will be back in here and that too at a price I'm happy with. Thanks.
would you also like to tell us what you are having for dinner and your inside leg measurement!?
Selling to buy back at a lower price is not a great strategy at the moment given the constant newsflow and the tendency to gap up! I doubt you will be back investing here.
No, I don't think it will be easy to buy them after the announcement. I plan to get back in between tomorrow and Thursday. I sold my entire holding last Friday; some at 2.91 and the rest at 2.685. The plan is to always get back in cheaper and I'm going to be in well before the announcement (fingers crossed).
My point was simply that I think the record date will be set ahead by a week or two. That's just my own opinion after reading the RNS. Good luck.
set forward can mean any length of time.
They may decide to lock out short term traders and reward LTH.
They said the record date would be set forward. Midnight the same day is hardly forward. Surely they'd want to give people a week or two to get in and build the share price up before the spin-off. Just my thoughts.
So what about if the company RNS after the NAS closes that the record date is midnight that day.
Locked out.
Agree, the question is at what price? So it won't be that 'free' then.
I hoe you are right...Zac Mir predicts a 3 month rising trend channel with a price of 440p
He won't miss the free shares as he can simply buy back in when they announce the future cut off date.
Mr Leddacjack says still confident of 3 pound by this Friday close !!
'free'
Indeed
I think that he will be kicking himself for missing the free shares later on.
Ok, thanks for that ! I've been waiting all day to find out what Mr Singh was planning on doing!
I'm not paying more than £1.80 -£2.00. Please tell this to your CEO. Ask him that Mr Singh is not happy to pay over £2 for the shares. Maybe he will stop giving out interviews.
Great company! Great Management! Great products!
But its gone up too much too FAST. £2 to £1.80 is a great buy and hold for next 12 months. NOT PAYING PENNY MORE!
No sell off is one day sell off. we need few days sell to get this to my buy level.
