I really hope there wont be much profit taking as there should be after the substantial rise of last week, as i suspect many of us long term holders must be very near break even point, a stage we havent reached for a very long time now !!!
The timing of Chairman Tom Black's £400,000 buy is not insignificant!
AFRC If knew what the future holds for THRU we would all be buying in or dumping, but only Mr Black knows.
28 p to sell and 30 to buy now , whats going on ?
Ps I didnt think there were so many shares left in the open market for Mr Black to purchase. Again something fishy going on !!!
That could be a decent xmas present for the few lucky ones that bought in at below 20 a few days ago !!!
Afrc I agree, but life is a gamble.
The sp has gone from 25 p in June to 17 or so in Sept and the way this is going up recently , it could well go back to 25 and maybe higher. And all this on a handful of trades a day, a recent trading update that was less than impressive !!!!!. What a rip off really for the small investor. Text book case as to why somebody SHOULD NOT invest in the stockmarket !!
Thanks for that info, I also have faith in this company to come good in the future.
off the main exchanges
KCE32,,,,the two largest were SINT trades which are effectively swaps at a registered bank (most likely Investec Bank the bank of Thruvision) between two of its clients, which can undertake dealings outside of the main exchanges, so do not contribute to the share price.
But yes, there is plenty going on behind the scenes. My favourite company for growth in the short to medium term.
Some big deals done today, there must be good news on contracts about to break.

afrc...yes it was AIM at its finest. Drop the s p on no volume; director and his wife loads up, and then and only then the price moves up.
For anyone who has followed AIM over many tears the signs are there. It's so dishonest , yet those who follow the actaua track of large investor movements can see through the haze.
What is the yo yo up and down 4, 5% this week on a few trades only. What o load of nonsense !!!!
Everyone to their own afrc, and yes I can see the s.p moving to the levels you say. However the time is not yet with us to climb to much greater heights in the short term. The swopping of 'sells' under the 'smoke and mirrors' games by the SI bank Investec will try to hold it down whilst II's gradually hoover up in the background. Remember this is AIM, and it's a no holds barred any thing goes arena.
Well the results are reasonable, with cash holding at £4 mil. However although the sp does seem to have gathered some upwards momentum, i am not convinced it will be enough to push the price up to the 30p level which must be breakeven point for many of us. Considering the sp came down from 28 or so to 18p on no real negative news , i will be amazed if it goes up to £30 p. Yes the Tesco contract is very positive but the potential loss of the very important Us client could offset this.
I would be very happy if the sp could get to 23/ 24 p, hold this level for a while until we get the next trading update , which if its good should propel the sp to the 30 p when i will be out as there are too many better investment choices out there specially in the green energy section !!! IMO
afrc, thanks for the question, and by the way I do agree with you a pay back is a long time coming.
Firstly I notice that major shareholders have just been updated, and I see no exodus; far from it.
I noticed also that at the AGM all resolutions were passed, but there was one where over ten million votes were withheld. It was not a vote against, but to me it said in as many words, we are not happy with the slow progress of the company. This must have been a 'shot across the bows' for Tom Black. It puts the company in a weaker position should a below par takeover offer come in. I would not be surprised if an updated interim statement also includes October when the RNS is released on Monday. But hey if not don't shoot me for just offering my opinion.
I trust you have read the latest news posted a week or two ago on the main website about what is happening in the U.S. All good. It's a slow burner I admit, yet having been here since DBD days I can wait.
OMO as always and very G.L.
Why should we ?
I wonder if we will see an uplift in the s.p over the next few days?
Interim results have been already posted on Thruvision main company site a month ago in investors section.
News on recent DHS (Department of Homeland Security) in United States.
Link to DHS mentions numerous locations where Units are being rolled out, including transit hubs at sea ports and airports.
What I like is that between the last 2 major owners of shares in Thruvision reporting periods published, Investec Bank Wealth Fund has increased its exposure in Thruvision from approx £25K to approx £168K (about 700% increase). Remember Investec is the bank of Thruvision. I wonder who tipped off Tom Black last year re the £200K the company made on the financial market?. No prizes for guessing in my book. If anyone is in a position to know what is going on at Thruvision it surely must be their bankers.
Well i have to say this is very thorough, detailed analysis and response i made. What i still find very surprising is that all these major ii's are still holding albeit still sitting on important paper losses . But then again for most of them , their investment is chicken feed comparing to other holdings they have. And they could probably write their investment off and offset it with tax loss carry forwards !!!
Thank you for your reply anyway
oh hello its back up lol
