ASX has an AGM summary: https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02450322-2A1337959?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4
No news in it (as generally expected).
Expect to see it tomorrow on RNS, then the day after on the Thor website and next week on twitter.
Still nothing visible happening on the Wedding Bell project permits - this is making me uneasy.
No as it's just over 10X the amount of shares that I hold, so not much - plus they are options so not a negative just an incentive. I and others will obviously be more than pleased if they do get some across the board results and we do see that market cap do a 200M then 1B move, then we can all look at our holdings and "Celebrate good times, come on."
Will the issuance of 36m shares to the BoDs have a negative effect on the SP?
Thanks for the video link. Clearly there are some great technological advances coming through for both exploration and mining.

Is really significant news ever released at an AGM?
i believe we should get news on uranium soon right? permit to be approved early Dec? surely news will be before that?
OOOHHH - Just noticed Thor AGM this Wednesday!!!! See what comes out of that : )
MrB - Loving your positivity but 4 - 5p???? Early days at Molyhill yet : )
…molehill was always the flagship project…so great finally moving forward…if positive, an absolute game changer…and back to 4-5p instantly…
Nicole Galloway Warland, Managing Director of Thor Mining, commented:
"We are excited to be starting this exploration drilling at our Molyhil Project in the Northern Territory, where we are testing a newly identified, large magnetic target adjacent to the known tungsten-molybdenum-copper mineralisation. The Molyhil resource is highly magnetic (high percentage of magnetite) and this newly identified target is interpreted to be an off-set of this mineralisation.
The depth to target of only 270m from surface and the location underneath the current pit design has the potential to be a game changer for the Project."

Results expected in 4 to 5 weeks

Hopefully in the next couple of days
been quiet for a while. i think we are due for news soon.
Hi, Burleigh
Thanks for the reply on this. With these mining companies, if one's a geologist, one can make a judgement on the resources; but if one's not, one has to fall back on a judgement of the managers. Question 1, are they honest? (not absolutely honest, but sufficiently honest not to stab the shareholders in the back). Question 2, are they intelligent? Question 3, do they know their subject?
Here, I think the combination of Nicole and Mark Potter is right. He will do the corporate and financial stuff (e.g. the sale of Pilot Mountain, negotiating joint ventures), and she will do the geology.
It looks as if their plan is to bring the copper resource at Alford East and the tungsten at Molyhil into production, to give the company some revenue; and press ahead with exploration at Ragged Range.
Potter strikes me as a cunning fox; and I don't believe he would be putting Artemis' money into Thor, without a viable strategy for the company.
It's interesting looking at the info on this. The influence of Artemis extends beyond Potter; for we have Alastair Clayton, who is an executive director of Artemis, as one of our non-executive directors. And then I note that Nicole has managed to appoint another woman, Kate Pearce, as project geologist.
It's difficult to explain certain things; but I feel safe with this company. We'll be OK. It may take time; but we'll do well.

A lot more factors than that, which the Nevada state permits chasing for the Uranium mine in the USA also highlights. THOR is an AUS based miner so logistics also play a part (any venture there will be mostly reliant on 3rd parties so less direct control & different rules etc (Uranium is different due to higher margins & it is not something that would be a solo venture given the regulations that surround that type of material - this will always be a JORC reliant on USA mandates.)
Thor still has a tungsten/molybdenum mine in Molyhil AUS so any focus must always be on that which can be managed and cost controlled with less reliance on 3rd parties & all the other issues associated with dealing in a different country.
Whilst Tungsten prices have gone up THOR would still need to be dealing with the ever changing politics of the USA, POW are happy with that & I'm happy with that & what they have exchanged in return for the USA based mine.
Possibly but at the time the project economics did not stack up as it was not considered big enough!
"Completely agree Diadulus. THR went through a process/ beauty parade about 3 years ago. An approach was made to over 100 potential parties. None of them showed any interest. Well rid in my opinion!"
yes but surely this was a function of tungsten price at the time ?
